Hey Josh, one of your mate's from downunder here. Keep up the great work! Even though most of the RV's you feature aren't suitable for the Aussie market, I love seeing all the options you guys have. I have a 17 ft single axle travel trailer (we call them caravans here) and it suits us as retired weekend occasional users. I know you often remark about the USB plugs in the side of the couch units being a pain as they are prone to breaking if you knock the cords getting in and out of the seat, however there are little right angled USB adaptor's that you can get for a couple of bucks that minimize that risk, still not ideal but it's an improvement if you have to make use of the side mounted USB ports in the side of the armrests. Keep up the great content.
I wish more would have a dishwasher and the station where a cooks garbage could go straight to garbage can. Plus a washer and dryer together hookup whether stackable or all in one station
FINALLY!!! Another company performing quality at the construction level very comparable to Outdoor RV's comparing the ORV Blackstone's. We might of found our next new Trailer! Now...where do i go to get one ordered??!! Josh, how does Brinkley address additional solar panels as well as moving to full off grid solar components do they have pass thru pipe similar to grand design to get from roof to storage area and main service panel? noticed on the side panel of the storage it has a sticker for inverter prep is that all behind that storage wall area?
@@JoshtheRVNerd I feel that OutdoorRV manufacture really sets a standard for quality and solid construction. What RV company would you compare to them? I feel Brinkley is getting there but still seeing some methods of construction that can be improved that buyers would be willing to pay for. Thoughts?
Josh, this is great. Quick question... will you be posting something about Brinkley's even SMALLER model i? Saw the Layzee Acres video about it... we're waiting for yours. (Yes, you're our favorite!)
Yep. Already have a date set with the factory. I'll have the first full look at the 2nd run model. I opt'd to wait until we had a better look at it for everyone
If only this was available in one of their Fifth Wheels. It's ideal. The second fireplace is exactly what we'd want. We're waffling between the 2900 and the 3110 for the grandkids but this design would be perfect. Oh well. Brinkley is doing some pretty great things.
Love the Brinkley travel trailers but would really like to see Brinkley get rid of the hanging storage next to the bed … since there should have hanging storage in the closet or W/D. Need somewhere to set things down at night and the tiny cubbies aren’t it. Otherwise this is absolutely spectacular.
Great review Josh. I so love what Brinkley is doing from a quality perspective. And the fact that I’m looking at this and seeing it factory equipped with basically every upgrade I’ve made or wanted to make to my personal trailer. The one change I’d like to see at least as an option is to lose those unnerved drawers and have a more conventional under-bed storage. Especially if your not installing a washer and dryer you have sooo much drawer storage already in that bedroom the traditional under-bed would be more valuable to me.
@@JoshtheRVNerd Thanks so much for that information! I just watched that video! I Appreciate you taking the time to send that link to me! Keep your Great Content coming! Take Care! L
this is literally my DREAM TRAILER..... however... I have a half ton... well equipped and set up for max towing at around 11,500, hitch weight 1000.... and I would LOVE for Brinkley to come out with something with this same floorpan.... at 30'.... with lightweight options for materials. SERIOUSLY... this floorpan is TO DIE FOR..... take away one of the cinema seats, make more narrow the fireplace opposite and a smaller tv... and BAM... you could come in under 30'. just saying. OH.... THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY!
They didn't listen when we asked for a cuddle compliant theater seat, unfortunately. The other half is also afraid that spills from the stove will leak down into the televator. Seeing a floor vent in the bedroom was also somewhat shocking. Still, it's a very nice unit that we'd certainly be happy to have if we got one. Thanks for the tour, Uncle Josh!
I love this floorplan, but there are a few things I’m not a fan of. -televater needs to go -not a fan of the dining desk. A regular table that can rotate is my preferred. - shared bathroom storage closet with bedroom. Thanks Josh for all your hard work.
Loving this one, do they have a comparable floor plan in 5th wheel? Quick question, how close do the window operators get to your head when fully reclined and snoozing? Hotel traveling tip, get a waterproof roll-up stuff sack for your dirty clothes. Should you ever have to travel to a second city before getting home, your dirty clothes don't mingle with your clean. As a benefit, your luggage won't start smelling like dirty clothes.
Can they add the mini split hvac with the ceiling cartridges? Eliminate the skylights, add more solar, add water generator, with an incinerator toilet? Kill the fake fireplaces and use it for more storage. Thoughts on a sleep number bed?
I’m shopping for our first Brinkley and I’m one of the folks that hates the dine/desk as shown. I’m 6’2 200lbs and that tiny desk makes me think I’m looking at an elementary school table/chair set up. It’s impractical to me and no matter what position it sit is, it’s too cramped looking to be at the front door. I would likely rip it all out, and replace it with a beautiful raw edge wood tabletop with a standing desk base that elevates and lowers. That way it can be a counter height bar, or a desk, or standing desk, without blocking the walkway. Also, “dishwasher prepped” should be standard on all Brinkleys. As you said “this is not the least expensive RV”, and I agree, so it should have standard options that concur with that.
These are beautiful!! I am hoping they will make slide covers an option. It just simplifies everything. I have no idea how to do it,and it’s already set up for it from what I hear. I Enjoy your reviews!
Hey Josh!!! Long time viewer and occasional commenter. I"m really diggin' the Brinkley's lately. However, I was never fan of brass/gold. I wished they changed it all to silver with grey furniture. Call it the "Silver Edition." I think that would be a deal breaker for me with the Brinkley's. Anyway, take care and thanks for taking your time to do the best videos. Thanks!!!
I'm clumsy too Josh so anything sticking that will hurt (or break)if I bump into it, I'll find it! I really like Brinkley, but did I see vents in the floor in the bedroom? I actually really like the way the under bed storage is set out, if I have a big space I'll fill it with junk, I'll just be a bit tidier if it's set out that way.
Hey Josh, if you were going to full time in a travel trailer, would you go with Brinkley or Jayco Eagle? I know Brinkley is more expensive but seems like spending a little extra for quality on a rig you're going to full time in is probably worth it but I've always liked the Jayco Eagle product and their 5th wheel quality.
@@JoshtheRVNerd Seems like our final four brands when we're looking to buy our retirement trailer in 5 years will be Brinkley, Jayco Eagle, Alliance Avenue, and maybe Grand Design Reflection . . . or perhaps GD will offer a higher end trailer by that time? We're super happy with our GD 2500RL, so I'll always keep them on our list. Anyway, I know you're a super busy guy, so thank you so much for taking the time to respond Josh. You put a ton of work into your content, it shows, and I know you've heard it thousands of times but we really appreciate everything you do to help us fellow RVers!
Just 3 months too late for me. I couldn't stand the waiting and got the 285, though this is exactly what I was originally looking for! I'm happy with my choice now, and don't have any urge to try and get this one. I'm not sure about the dinesk, and like having a conventional dinette and a desk.
I was planning on a 285 for our next trailer, but... but... how is this trailer only one foot longer?!? This is it. See a Brinkley in person if you haven't already folks. Yes, if they could add a dishwasher that would be fabulous. And I hope we can get the new full paint packages on these as well.
1) Definitely your 2nd, 3rd, 4th or even 5th camper bought the first time around 👍 2) L❤️VE these. Brinkley is Glamping and not camping. I think that I could handle that 😂 3) I’m surprised of the price. Guess this nerdy student has a lot more to learn from you professor 🧑🏫 because I was surmising that this camper was gonna be in the six figures. So glad it’s not. My wallet says that it is glad too as I don’t have a 3/4 ton to pull it. Now if you wanted out of your good heartedness were to throw in a brand new 3/4 ton or larger HD. Chevy with the purchase of this one…..😂😂😂 4) You don’t eat the shrimp tails 🍤? You devain??? Not me. I eat tails, shells, shrimp and all. My late brother had told me that I must have a cast iron stomach. 😂. We were eating the shrimp and I didn’t know that they had shells. He asked me what I was doing; I said eating my shrimp, why? He said that you were supposed to shell them. I attempted several times to shell and devain them, had troubles doing it and found that it was just easier to just eat them 😂 5) Nice editing Mr. Editor ✍️ 6) “B” rinkley LOL. I have an idea for another model. Paint it yellow with black trim and call it the Model B (Bee) as in Bumble bee 🐝 7) Wish the ladder had the ladder of the 2025 Jayco Jay Feather 26FK. Better stability it appears for the rear to roof or roof to rear transition. Can’t be too safe. 8-37) Another Great Video…. Thanks Nerd! 🤓 😂
Yeah they asked me to wait until prototype 2 was done to give a better look at what it will _actually_ look like I am scheduled to capture that this coming tuesday with footage releasing shortly after
Thank you for the information. I will be looking for your video. I love everything you do in your videos and will be looking for our next camper. Thanks Joel
This is exactly what I was hoping they would produce. A little more 5th wheel like than the 285, but not quite as long as the 310; staying at or below that 35' mark keeps your campground options much larger. Well done Brinkley!
This is the leader in the clubhouse for our next RV. It's between this and the Cougar 29RLP. Cougar is a little shorter and much lighter. I just wish Brinkley had solar systems like keystone does. I can get the 660i-L system, dual pane windows and auto level for about 20 grand less than the Brinkley when comparing MSRP to MSRP. It's gonna be a tough decision. Also hope that alliance launches something similar in the new Avenue TT lineup. But Brinkley just looks SHARP and we have been impressed with their fit and finish. I guess time will tell.
Josh my $18k new 2013 Keystone I still have today has the same fit and finish where the wall meets the ceiling. When did RV manufactures stop making them that way? And why is this new rig 5x the cost only 11 years later??? What really makes it worth that much more ? A RV consumer who would love to know exactly why...
Crazy to see they still don’t: Double duct AC’s Convection microwave (that vents stove steam/fumes outside). If the dealer can get off their butt I’m picking up a 285 before month end.
I felt weird about non-ducted A/C units as well until I learned more about them and _why_ they're doing what they're doing. If I had a choice I'd prefer an RV have this A/C setup for my own household
@@JoshtheRVNerd I was able to listen to the chill cubes on these yesterday, while they are much more quiet than a brisk air 2 they’re still not silent. The advantage of double ducting for me is I could run a front unit while in the living area and vice versa while the bathroom gets air either way plus the sound is further away. The fan part blowing on you in bed might be nice at night but it will probably irritate some (me).
Depends on how cold. Lot of people will just say "yes" but I want you to get the REAL info This is tested to zero degrees. But nobody can promise anything beyond that since it hasn't been proven
hey Josh! Now that the I Series 265 has been shown by Layzeedays RV here on TH-cam, can you please show us all a REAL IN DEPTH REVIEW?? Patiently waiting ……..😮
Wish Brinkley would have told me at the Hershey RV show / Open house that this was coming out , we spoke about not being happy about the rear fridge in the 285 and this wasn't mentioned. I would have bought this one instead .
Appreciate the travel access with the fridge, but that would need to change in our family or my wife would not move forward with the purchase. Brinkley may want to make that an option in my humble opinion.
Love this but hate the coffin feel of the bed set up. Wish there were openings next to the bed, not a fan of the full closets next to the bed, too claustrophobic for me in that tiny space and the king 310 model is a bit too heavy.
I would recommend seeing one in person. The tall ceiling doesn't give it an enclosed feeling to me personally BUT everyone will feel that space out a little differently
Price, Price, Price... wish the cost was at least 1/2 way closer to equivalent to the Alliance Delta of similar size. why is 29' floor plan in the brinkley air, 34' trailer length and alliance delta same floor plan 33'

👍🏻
great job Josh on the updated graphics.
Glad you like them! Thats Garrett’s work - the new editor here
Basically “our store” is the answer to both questions
Love it.
If only this was available in one of their Fifth Wheels. It's ideal. The second fireplace is exactly what we'd want. We're waffling between the 2900 and the 3110 for the grandkids but this design would be perfect. Oh well. Brinkley is doing some pretty great things.
The 2900 basically is this in a FW
Agree. We have been waffling between a Z2900 and a GD Influence. The 297 is now in first place.
Yeah that's a cool thing they do - upgrades come standard really
Looking forward to Brinkley make a Sprinter van.
Wow!!
Right?
I like the window trim
I do as well
LOVE THIS !!😊
Is this warranted for Full Time living? Thanks for Sharing! I really appreciate all your Educational and Entertaining Videos!!👍
RVs don’t have full time _living_ warranties
The words here are very important
Watch this for clarity m.th-cam.com/video/rCwg6QfTy-E/w-d-xo.html
The trick with this floorplan is that it’s literally not possible at 30 feet. You’d have to make some kind of sacrifice to reduce the length.
Yeah, that is an update. I would like to see.
I love this floorplan, but there are a few things I’m not a fan of.
-televater needs to go
-not a fan of the dining desk. A regular table that can rotate is my preferred.
- shared bathroom storage closet with bedroom.
Thanks Josh for all your hard work.
My pleasure!
@@dak_alwaystravels9213 I'm not a fan of the Dinesk, either!
Looks cool, but TOO Crowded, especially for Four people! 😝
These are beautiful!! I am hoping they will make slide covers an option. It just simplifies everything. I have no idea how to do it,and it’s already set up for it from what I hear. I Enjoy your reviews!
We can slap them in at the store
@@JoshtheRVNerd Perfect! I will be coming out to your store.😊
Thanks!!!
curious if you been inside one? I know he keeps mentioning the color shift on his camera, is it gold/brass or is it a satin brass?
Thanks for sharing!
I think they had to put one vent there because there wasn't a wall thru which they could duct
@@JoshtheRVNerd I forgive them 😜
good video Josh
Thanks!
The manufacturer real needs to put a drop down counter between the stove and the TV, more counter/prep counter space
Cool idea
Hey Josh, if you were going to full time in a travel trailer, would you go with Brinkley or Jayco Eagle? I know Brinkley is more expensive but seems like spending a little extra for quality on a rig you're going to full time in is probably worth it but I've always liked the Jayco Eagle product and their 5th wheel quality.
If money were no issue then it’s hard to beat a Brinkley
But with money factored in eagle or maybe the new avenues are a fair value proposition
These are great. Do they make a tt without a table?
Only their 295 bunk model
Just 3 months too late for me. I couldn't stand the waiting and got the 285, though this is exactly what I was originally looking for! I'm happy with my choice now, and don't have any urge to try and get this one. I'm not sure about the dinesk, and like having a conventional dinette and a desk.
Man that 285 is great though
Can you get Brinkley to double the solar?
I was planning on a 285 for our next trailer, but... but... how is this trailer only one foot longer?!? This is it. See a Brinkley in person if you haven't already folks. Yes, if they could add a dishwasher that would be fabulous. And I hope we can get the new full paint packages on these as well.
Paint not available on trailers YET but ... maybe in time?
Really enjoy your Videos. But sadly those Trailers are not available in Germany.
#RVNerdHerd 😊 🎉 😊
265 also available
Josh I noticed that the dinette/desk didn’t have the bench/ottoman (seating for four). Is that something that they’ve eliminated?
Dinesk does not include the ottoman that's correct. Usually it includes a pair of extra seats you can pull out when needed
1) Definitely your 2nd, 3rd, 4th or even 5th camper bought the first time around 👍
2) L❤️VE these. Brinkley is Glamping and not camping. I think that I could handle that 😂
3) I’m surprised of the price. Chevy with the purchase of this one…..😂😂😂
4) You don’t eat the shrimp tails 🍤? You devain??? Not me. I eat tails, shells, shrimp and all. My late brother had told me that I must have a cast iron stomach. 😂. We were eating the shrimp and I didn’t know that they had shells. He asked me what I was doing; I said eating my shrimp, why? He said that you were supposed to shell them. I attempted several times to shell and devain them, had troubles doing it and found that it was just easier to just eat them 😂
5) Nice editing Mr. Editor ✍️
6) “B” rinkley LOL. I have an idea for another model. Paint it yellow with black trim and call it the Model B (Bee) as in Bumble bee 🐝
7) Wish the ladder had the ladder of the 2025 Jayco Jay Feather 26FK. Better stability it appears for the rear to roof or roof to rear transition. Can’t be too safe.
8-37) Another Great Video…. Thanks Nerd! 🤓 😂
B wrinkley lol
Josh, are you going to show a video on the new Brinkley I 265?
Yeah they asked me to wait until prototype 2 was done to give a better look at what it will _actually_ look like
I am scheduled to capture that this coming tuesday with footage releasing shortly after
Thank you for the information.
Josh do you get four chairs
This is the leader in the clubhouse for our next RV. It's between this and the Cougar 29RLP. Cougar is a little shorter and much lighter. I just wish Brinkley had solar systems like keystone does. I can get the 660i-L system, dual pane windows and auto level for about 20 grand less than the Brinkley when comparing MSRP to MSRP. It's gonna be a tough decision. Also hope that alliance launches something similar in the new Avenue TT lineup. But Brinkley just looks SHARP and we have been impressed with their fit and finish. I guess time will tell.
I’m a big cougar trailer fan myself
Their recent updates are looking great
@@JoshtheRVNerd can't wait to see if you drop a video on that 29RLP I mentioned.
How about dishwasher hookup under the kitchen sink area 😉
They’re starting to include that in more models where they can but haven’t seen it in these yet
what happened to cup holder in couch and couple compliant theater seats.... can the swap couch's and chairs?
Not sure what you mean by what happened
Same theater seat they’ve been using
Just wishful thinking..
Would really consider this over a 5th wheel with certain options
Like what?
14:12 😂😂😂
Bed storage is amazing. First time I see this . Does it exist in an other one?
Coschmen rvs kind of originated that bed lift concept and now several brands have their own versions
Need a king bed.
I would direct you to my last two years worth of rv industry update videos. I can’t really give you a cliff notes version in a quick reply
Nice! Now I need to win the lottery and/or retire and this will be mine. 😊
🤞
Move kitchen sink over and prep for a dish washer
Any chance Brinkley offers factory ABS in the near future? That is the one thing we think they are still missing-out on.
In the Model Z Air line, anti-sway mitigation and ABS now comes standard!
@@BrinkleyRV What VIN did you start this at?
Crazy to see they still don’t:
Double duct AC’s
Convection microwave (that vents stove steam/fumes outside).
I'm not sure I'd like this. It's the dual slide outs. This is going to live in 24/7 year round. Thus will be in cold weather. Is this feasible.
Depends on how cold. Lot of people will just say "yes" but I want you to get the REAL info
This is tested to zero degrees. But nobody can promise anything beyond that since it hasn't been proven
How fantastic to have a paper towel holder in the bathroom for those seriously heavy duty jobs.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Beautiful rig otherwise.
lol
The world debut of exactly the same thing as usual lol! Sorry I couldn’t help myself Josh😂!!😊
Torsion axles on board?
They are not. This is a leaf spring system with an enhanced shock dampener
Kinda surprised they didn’t
Appreciate the travel access with the fridge, but that would need to change in our family or my wife would not move forward with the purchase. Brinkley may want to make that an option in my humble opinion.
It's a big one for a lot of people
When is Brinkley going to come out with a Travel Trailer Toy Hauler???
How about a bed room slide
They already have one like that m.th-cam.com/video/2VwBj4sgxtU/w-d-xo.html
So this was purposely made differently
Did they put disc brakes on the 297?
I've not seen that on any of the Z air trailers
My husband and I are thinking between this one and the new 2025 Travel Trailer Avenue
Good picks!
Price, Price, Price... wish the cost was at least 1/2 way closer to equivalent to the Alliance Delta of similar size. why is 29' floor plan in the brinkley air, 34' trailer length and alliance delta same floor plan 33'
is it me or did those smoke detectors are right in front & inches from the top of the slides?
thankfully they clear!
Nice try! It would be nicer if they put the front bed on a slide out and make the bed a king size as well as increased the storage JS
They already do that. It’s called the 310.
Perhaps you missed it: m.th-cam.com/video/2VwBj4sgxtU/w-d-xo.html
Please show us the model l lite weight 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I already have a date set with Brinkey to do just that! :)
No doubt Brinkley makes nice looking campers. I just think there are a lot of nice campers that cost quite a bit less.
