Your videos have been great! We still like the Z-310 and do plan on purchasing it in the near future. This one would be a good second choice option. Our tow vehicle is a 2020 F-450 so weight is not a concern. Keep up the great work!
If only this was available in one of their Fifth Wheels. It's ideal. The second fireplace is exactly what we'd want. We're waffling between the 2900 and the 3110 for the grandkids but this design would be perfect. Oh well. Brinkley is doing some pretty great things.
They didn't listen when we asked for a cuddle compliant theater seat, unfortunately. The other half is also afraid that spills from the stove will leak down into the televator. Seeing a floor vent in the bedroom was also somewhat shocking. Still, it's a very nice unit that we'd certainly be happy to have if we got one. Thanks for the tour, Uncle Josh!
Remove the stove/oven and just put a 2/3 burner cooktop and a convection micro or an air fryer/oven in the micro spot. Dexter Torflex axles, slide toppers and a leather/pleather couch for the pet owners. That material couch wouldn't remain stain free with our pups. I'd also prefer a darker...maybe black marbled countertop. White can stain, yellow or leave a burn mark from the wifes curling iron. Would put multiple dog/security frame hooks and a bed slide so a king bed could be used. Other than those changes, Brinkley nailed it! We are in the market and those changes would all but solidify this model for us! Until then...the Airstream 33FBQ is our leading candidate!
I love this floorplan, but there are a few things I’m not a fan of. -televater needs to go -not a fan of the dining desk. A regular table that can rotate is my preferred. - shared bathroom storage closet with bedroom. Thanks Josh for all your hard work.
This is exactly what I was hoping they would produce. A little more 5th wheel like than the 285, but not quite as long as the 310; staying at or below that 35' mark keeps your campground options much larger. Well done Brinkley!
Hey Josh!!! Long time viewer and occasional commenter. I"m really diggin' the Brinkley's lately. However, I was never fan of brass/gold. I wished they changed it all to silver with grey furniture. Call it the "Silver Edition." I think that would be a deal breaker for me with the Brinkley's. Anyway, take care and thanks for taking your time to do the best videos. Thanks!!!
These are beautiful!! I am hoping they will make slide covers an option. It just simplifies everything. I have no dea how to do it,and it’s already set up for it from what I hear. I Enjoy your reviews!
1) Definitely your 2nd, 3rd, 4th or even 5th camper bought the first time around 👍 2) L❤️VE these. Brinkley is Glamping and not camping. I think that I could handle that 😂 3) I’m surprised of the price. Guess this nerdy student has a lot more to learn from you professor 🧑🏫 because I was surmising that this camper was gonna be in the six figures. So glad it’s not. My wallet says that it is glad too as I don’t have a 3/4 ton to pull it. Now if you wanted out of your good heartedness were to throw in a brand new 3/4 ton or larger HD. Chevy with the purchase of this one…..😂😂😂 4) You don’t eat the shrimp tails 🍤? You devain??? Not me. I eat tails, shells, shrimp and all. My late brother had told me that I must have a cast iron stomach. 😂. We were eating the shrimp and I didn’t know that they had shells. He asked me what I was doing; I said eating my shrimp, why? He said that you were supposed to shell them. I attempted several times to shell and devain them, had troubles doing it and found that it was just easier to just eat them 😂 5) Nice editing Mr. Editor ✍️ 6) “B” rinkley LOL. I have an idea for another model. Paint it yellow with black trim and call it the Model B (Bee) as in Bumble bee 🐝 7) Wish the ladder had the ladder of the 2025 Jayco Jay Feather 26FK. Better stability it appears for the rear to roof or roof to rear transition. Can’t be too safe. 8-37) Another Great Video…. Thanks Nerd! 🤓 😂
Loving this one, do they have a comparable floor plan in 5th wheel? Quick question, how close do the window operators get to your head when fully reclined and snoozing? Hotel traveling tip, get a waterproof roll-up stuff sack for your dirty clothes. Should you ever have to travel to a second city before getting home, your dirty clothes don't mingle with your clean. As a benefit, your luggage won't start smelling like dirty clothes.

Can they add the mini split hvac with the ceiling cartridges? Eliminate the skylights, add more solar, add water generator, with an incinerator toilet? Kill the fake fireplaces and use it for more storage. Thoughts on a sleep number bed?
I was planning on a 285 for our next trailer, but... but... how is this trailer only one foot longer?!? This is it. See a Brinkley in person if you haven't already folks. Yes, if they could add a dishwasher that would be fabulous. And I hope we can get the new full paint packages on these as well.
I'm clumsy too Josh so anything sticking that will hurt (or break)if I bump into it, I'll find it! I really like Brinkley, but did I see vents in the floor in the bedroom? I actually really like the way the under bed storage is set out, if I have a big space I'll fill it with junk, I'll just be a bit tidier if it's set out that way.
hey Josh! Now that the I Series 265 has been shown by Layzeedays RV here on TH-cam, can you please show us all a REAL IN DEPTH REVIEW?? Patiently waiting ……..😮
This is the leader in the clubhouse for our next RV. It's between this and the Cougar 29RLP. Cougar is a little shorter and much lighter. I just wish Brinkley had solar systems like keystone does. I can get the 660i-L system, dual pane windows and auto level for about 20 grand less than the Brinkley when comparing MSRP to MSRP. It's gonna be a tough decision. Also hope that alliance launches something similar in the new Avenue TT lineup. But Brinkley just looks SHARP and we have been impressed with their fit and finish. I guess time will tell.
Just 3 months too late for me. I couldn't stand the waiting and got the 285, though this is exactly what I was originally looking for! I'm happy with my choice now, and don't have any urge to try and get this one. I'm not sure about the dinesk, and like having a conventional dinette and a desk.
Love it. Can Britney make a travel trailer that has a back living room like this but add a mind bunck with a slid. And a front bedroom slid. One thing I would change is not a plastic sink in the bathroom. Will you ask Britney about my idea? Thank you josh!
The trick of floorplans like that is when you try to put them into a travel trailer, they end up something like 45 feet which becomes unreasonable and sometimes literally unbuildable There’s a reason nobody does it and those that have tried have met failure
Wish Brinkley would have told me at the Hershey RV show / Open house that this was coming out , we spoke about not being happy about the rear fridge in the 285 and this wasn't mentioned. I would have bought this one instead .
Hey Josh, if you were going to full time in a travel trailer, would you go with Brinkley or Jayco Eagle? I know Brinkley is more expensive but seems like spending a little extra for quality on a rig you're going to full time in is probably worth it but I've always liked the Jayco Eagle product and their 5th wheel quality.
@@JoshtheRVNerd Seems like our final four brands when we're looking to buy our retirement trailer in 5 years will be Brinkley, Jayco Eagle, Alliance Avenue, and maybe Grand Design Reflection . . . or perhaps GD will offer a higher end trailer by that time? We're super happy with our GD 2500RL, so I'll always keep them on our list. Anyway, I know you're a super busy guy, so thank you so much for taking the time to respond Josh. Josh my $18k new 2013 Keystone I still have today has the same fit and finish where the wall meets the ceiling. When did RV manufactures stop making them that way? And why is this new rig 5x the cost only 11 years later??? What really makes it worth that much more ? A RV consumer who would love to know exactly why...
20:41 I thought you said "welcome back" which was next level "Woah!" because I'd just come back to the tab playing the video. Vertigo's owning me since Sept. 2nd, so all video's are in background tabs. 🙄
It is so frustrating to see great residential floorplans like this with a comfortable sofa, theater seating, a table and chairs, a porcelain toilet, a shower door, a Maxxair vent fan, and convenient outlets that should and could be standard in almost every other RV👍👍👍
The downside i see is no floor heating! Its so much more efficient being that way. If you are kicking around a buch of dirt into your rv maybe you should take them off or change shoes. 🙃
Great looking trailer! Can someone with experience towing a trailer this long share what that’s like? I have visions of the Lucy movie - The Long, Long Trailer. 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
@@effortless_choice it’s a handful. Most people would be much better off with a fifth wheel. I just don’t understand the appeal of a trailer this long. But people do buy them. See what their arguments are for them and maybe something will resonate with you, but I’ve never really heard a good argument for a trailer over 30 feet. The only exception would be if you absolutely have to have the entire truck bed available while towing, which some admittedly do, but not most.
If you are looking for a floorplan similar to the one showcased in the video but including a bed slide with some additional closet space, we would suggest looking at our Model Z Air 310!
They need to change the interior colors. I would prefer a leather couch that matches the recliners. A white couch is unacceptable for my black dogs. I would also prefer warmer colors in the interior. I live in my camper 6 months out of the year. It has to feel warm and inviting. Please change the gold faucet and cabinet hardware. It’s looks very dated. Rubbed antique bronze or even brushed nickel would be preferable. I’m ready to buy but not until the interior colors are changed.
The battery storage can only hold (1) group 31 battery or (2) group 24 batteries. The batteries are "Un-protected" from road debris and rain. You will need to have the storage compartment are professionally modified to secure your batteries especially if you choose lithium. The cost will be an extra $2K to $4K not including the batteries. Don't get the dealer to make the modifications, period. They are only interested in the sale and will screw it up. Been there, done that.
Seem unfair to judge every dealer based on the bungling of one It would be like saying “I had a customer lie once so they’re all liars” I wouldn’t judge you like that or tell others to do the same
@@JoshtheRVNerd Probably not. But the 3 dealers I dealt with so far either were not knowledgeable about the coaches they are selling, were playing deceiving sales games, or were only interested in high pressure sales tactic. The mistake I made was not inspecting the coach a second time before I drove it off the lot. The issue was when I previewed the coach before I cut the check, I couldn't see the batteries were in 2 separate plastic boxes because of the extremely tight quarters of the Brinkley front cover compartment. I didn't get the single battery box I paid for. A single battery box so the cross over wiring didn't prevent the TOPS from going all the way on. What they didn't me was there are no single battery boxes that hold 2 group 31 lithium batteries available in the open market to fit Brinkley Trailers, All Z Air models. Thus, they left the tops unsecure and upon my trip back home we encountered some rain. Like that never happens. As a result, a few days later when preparing the coach, I discovered it. The battery boxes were full of water. Great, lithium batteries and water. If they would have told me up front they couldn't secure 2 group 31 batteries on any Z Air models, I might have switched to the 5th wheel. All my phone calls to the dealer fell on deaf ears. And the $4.8 K a waste until I can find someone who can make destructive modifications to that front compartment. Now to be fair to you Josh, Bish RV was not one of the dealers I dealt with. If you have any suggestions, I am all ears.
This doesn't need to exist, nor does any travel trailer over 30 feet. Just get a fifth wheel. It will tow 100 times better and be more maneuverable. Everybody is towing this with a truck anyway, and staying in RV parks. They need a 30-foot travel trailer for half-tons.
@@TNiss54 you sure it’s not that you want your truck bed? Have you seen the storage in the Z2900? I bet you could make it work. Plus you still have storage around a fifth wheel hitch. If you have a factory puck system the hitch comes out in minutes, so when not towing you regain the whole bed. It’s also only about 14 inches taller. How many times would that ever really make a difference? Anywhere you can camp where a giant trailer this long will work, you’ll also have no issues with height. This is strictly a big-rig RV park unit. It’s interesting to hear the arguments for it though as I’m always mystified when I see huge travel trailers.
I've seen several Brinkleys in-person. Their hardware and brown furniture are just as ugly as when on video. The build quality in-person is impressive for RVs, but I think that job is easier when engineers are being told to make as light and cheaply as they can.

If only this was available in one of their Fifth Wheels. It's ideal. The second fireplace is exactly what we'd want. We're waffling between the 2900 and the 3110 for the grandkids but this design would be perfect. Oh well. Brinkley is doing some pretty great things.
The 2900 basically is this in a FW
Agree. We have been waffling between a Z2900 and a GD Influence. The 297 is now in first place.
No doubt Brinkley makes nice looking campers. I just think there are a lot of nice campers that cost quite a bit less.
We are GO for Road-Mode.
👍🏻
They didn't listen when we asked for a cuddle compliant theater seat, unfortunately. The other half is also afraid that spills from the stove will leak down into the televator.
Seeing a floor vent in the bedroom was also somewhat shocking.
Still, it's a very nice unit that we'd certainly be happy to have if we got one.
Thanks for the tour, Uncle Josh!
Yeah, that is an update. I would like to see.
Thanks Josh, nice TT.
You bet!
I love this floorplan, but there are a few things I’m not a fan of.
-televater needs to go
-not a fan of the dining desk. A regular table that can rotate is my preferred.
- shared bathroom storage closet with bedroom.
Thanks Josh for all your hard work.
My pleasure!
This is exactly what I was hoping they would produce. A little more 5th wheel like than the 285, but not quite as long as the 310; staying at or below that 35' mark keeps your campground options much larger. Well done Brinkley!
Looking forward to Brinkley make a Sprinter van.
great job Josh on the updated graphics.
Glad you like them! Thats Garrett’s work - the new editor here
Thanks!!!
curious if you been inside one? I know he keeps mentioning the color shift on his camera, is it gold/brass or is it a satin brass?
Thanks for sharing!
These are beautiful!! I am hoping they will make slide covers an option. It just simplifies everything. I have no dea how to do it,and it’s already set up for it from what I hear. I Enjoy your reviews!
We can slap them in at the store
1) Definitely your 2nd, 3rd, 4th or even 5th camper bought the first time around 👍
2) L❤️VE these. Brinkley is Glamping and not camping. I think that I could handle that 😂
3) I’m surprised of the price. Chevy with the purchase of this one…..😂😂😂
4) You don’t eat the shrimp tails 🍤? You devain??? Not me. I eat tails, shells, shrimp and all. My late brother had told me that I must have a cast iron stomach. 😂. We were eating the shrimp and I didn’t know that they had shells. He asked me what I was doing; I said eating my shrimp, why? He said that you were supposed to shell them. I attempted several times to shell and devain them, had troubles doing it and found that it was just easier to just eat them 😂
5) Nice editing Mr. Editor ✍️
6) “B” rinkley LOL. I have an idea for another model. Paint it yellow with black trim and call it the Model B (Bee) as in Bumble bee 🐝
7) Wish the ladder had the ladder of the 2025 Jayco Jay Feather 26FK. Better stability it appears for the rear to roof or roof to rear transition. Can’t be too safe.
8-37) Another Great Video…. Thanks Nerd! 🤓 😂
B wrinkley lol
Loving this one, do they have a comparable floor plan in 5th wheel?
Quick question, how close do the window operators get to your head when fully reclined and snoozing?
Hotel traveling tip, get a waterproof roll-up stuff sack for your dirty clothes.
Should you ever have to travel to a second city before getting home, your dirty clothes don't mingle with your clean. As a benefit, your luggage won't start smelling like dirty clothes.
LOVE THIS !!😊
Is this warranted for Full Time living? Thanks for Sharing! I really appreciate all your Educational and Entertaining Videos!!👍
RVs don’t have full time _living_ warranties
The words here are very important
Watch this for clarity m.th-cam.com/video/rCwg6QfTy-E/w-d-xo.html
@@JoshtheRVNerd Thanks so much for that information! I just watched that video! I Appreciate you taking the time to send that link to me! Keep your Great Content coming! Take Care! L
Love it.
Paint not available on trailers YET but ... maybe in time?
I'm clumsy too Josh so anything sticking that will hurt (or break)if I bump into it, I'll find it!
I really like Brinkley, but did I see vents in the floor in the bedroom?
I actually really like the way the under bed storage is set out, if I have a big space I'll fill it with junk, I'll just be a bit tidier if it's set out that way.
I think they had to put one vent there because there wasn't a wall thru which they could duct
@@JoshtheRVNerd I forgive them 😜
I like the window trim
I do as well
Wow!!
Right?
I’m a big cougar trailer fan myself
Their recent updates are looking great
@@JoshtheRVNerd can't wait to see if you drop a video on that 29RLP I mentioned.
Just 3 months too late for me. I couldn't stand the waiting and got the 285, though this is exactly what I was originally looking for! I'm happy with my choice now, and don't have any urge to try and get this one. I'm not sure about the dinesk, and like having a conventional dinette and a desk.
Man that 285 is great though
14:12 😂😂😂
Bed storage is amazing. First time I see this . Does it exist in an other one?
Coschmen rvs kind of originated that bed lift concept and now several brands have their own versions
How fantastic to have a paper towel holder in the bathroom for those seriously heavy duty jobs.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Beautiful rig otherwise.
lol
The world debut of exactly the same thing as usual lol! Sorry I couldn’t help myself Josh😂!!😊
Would really consider this over a 5th wheel with certain options
When is Brinkley going to come out with a Travel Trailer Toy Hauler???
The manufacturer real needs to put a drop down counter between the stove and the TV, more counter/prep counter space
Cool idea
Love it. Can Britney make a travel trailer that has a back living room like this but add a mind bunck with a slid. And a front bedroom slid. One thing I would change is not a plastic sink in the bathroom. Will you ask Britney about my idea? Thank you josh!
The trick of floorplans like that is when you try to put them into a travel trailer, they end up something like 45 feet which becomes unreasonable and sometimes literally unbuildable
There’s a reason nobody does it and those that have tried have met failure
Wish Brinkley would have told me at the Hershey RV show / Open house that this was coming out , we spoke about not being happy about the rear fridge in the 285 and this wasn't mentioned. I would have bought this one instead .
Kinda surprised they didn’t
#RVNerdHerd 😊 🎉 😊
Hey Josh, if you were going to full time in a travel trailer, would you go with Brinkley or Jayco Eagle? I know Brinkley is more expensive but seems like spending a little extra for quality on a rig you're going to full time in is probably worth it but I've always liked the Jayco Eagle product and their 5th wheel quality.
If money were no issue then it’s hard to beat a Brinkley
But with money factored in eagle or maybe the new avenues are a fair value proposition
You put a ton of work into your content, it shows, and I know you've heard it thousands of times but we really appreciate everything you do to help us fellow RVers!
Nice! Now I need to win the lottery and/or retire and this will be mine. 😊
🤞
Can you get Brinkley to double the solar?
Really enjoy your Videos. But sadly those Trailers are not available in Germany.
good video Josh
Thanks!
My husband and I are thinking between this one and the new 2025 Travel Trailer Avenue
Good picks!
These are great. Do they make a tt without a table?
Only their 295 bunk model
How about a bed room slide
Just remember one thing: general rv is the worst dealer on the planet 😂
Any chance Brinkley offers factory ABS in the near future? That is the one thing we think they are still missing-out on.
In the Model Z Air line, anti-sway mitigation and ABS now comes standard!
@@BrinkleyRV What VIN did you start this at?
Josh my $18k new 2013 Keystone I still have today has the same fit and finish where the wall meets the ceiling. When did RV manufactures stop making them that way? And why is this new rig 5x the cost only 11 years later??? What really makes it worth that much more ? A RV consumer who would love to know exactly why...
I would direct you to my last two years worth of rv industry update videos. I can’t really give you a cliff notes version in a quick reply
Move kitchen sink over and prep for a dish washer
Josh do you get four chairs
Looks nice! Looks pricey 😳
It does!
Nice try! It would be nicer if they put the front bed on a slide out and make the bed a king size as well as increased the storage JS
They already do that. It’s called the 310.
Perhaps you missed it: m.th-cam.com/video/2VwBj4sgxtU/w-d-xo.html
20:41 I thought you said "welcome back" which was next level "Woah!" because I'd just come back to the tab playing the video. Vertigo's owning me since Sept. 2nd, so all video's are in background tabs. 🙄
😆
Need a king bed.
It is so frustrating to see great residential floorplans like this with a comfortable sofa, theater seating, a table and chairs, a porcelain toilet, a shower door, a Maxxair vent fan, and convenient outlets that should and could be standard in almost every other RV👍👍👍
265 also available
😮
Ok but WHEN will they give us a Front Living Room 5th wheel to review?😂
Haven’t seen one yet. Hopefully soon?
How much does a unit like this cost?
MSRP on our site and our team can assist with discounted sale figures
The downside i see is no floor heating! Its so much more efficient being that way. If you are kicking around a buch of dirt into your rv maybe you should take them off or change shoes. 🙃
Great point!
The only exception would be if you absolutely have to have the entire truck bed available while towing, which some admittedly do, but not most.
lol you’ll know it’s there. For sure.
@@jordancook1668 Thanks for your advice. The fifth wheel route was my thinking - too. 👍
@@JoshtheRVNerd Thanks - Josh. Stay hydrated - brother 👍😎🇺🇸🇺🇸
You can also rent an HD truck with any travel trailer versus a 5th wheel. 34 is that bad if you know how to pull it.
Still looking for a travel trailer toy hauler that has separate garage and living space
Maybe try looking around something like the momentum lineup?
I wanted a brinkley
I like Brinkley UNTIL I see the price 😢.
If I were to sell my house and go full time though, it’d be in a Brinkley.
lol I get it
Bed slide and a bigger closet
If you are looking for a floorplan similar to the one showcased in the video but including a bed slide with some additional closet space, we would suggest looking at our Model Z Air 310!
They already do that! See here m.th-cam.com/video/2VwBj4sgxtU/w-d-xo.html
I am not a fan of 12v refrigerator, an option for a true residential refrigerator with a inverter
Please go back to your trademark scrolling title bar that shows the dry weight, max weight, hitch weight...
You mean from my short videos? Never did those on the long forms
Seem unfair to judge every dealer based on the bungling of one
It would be like saying “I had a customer lie once so they’re all liars”
I wouldn’t judge you like that or tell others to do the same
@@JoshtheRVNerd Probably not.
I don’t care for the different color couch and theater chairs
This doesn't need to exist, nor does any travel trailer over 30 feet. Just get a fifth wheel. It will tow 100 times better and be more maneuverable. Everybody is towing this with a truck anyway, and staying in RV parks. They need a 30-foot travel trailer for half-tons.
Need my truck bed and I don’t want the height of a fifth wheel. This is perfect!
Josh great video and thank you!!! Brinkley any plans for a under 30 trailer with your awesome quality? Thanks again.
I know a lot of folks even just locally who have seasonal sites with no interest in towing and no desire for the extra stairs for what it’s worth
@@jordancook1668 golf cart in the bed.
I've seen several Brinkleys in-person. Their hardware and brown furniture are just as ugly as when on video. The build quality in-person is impressive for RVs, but I think that job is easier when engineers are being told to make as light and cheaply as they can.
