hi everyone! i finally got around to doing the itto quest. exciting stuff! I get why you wanted me to do it so badly, it's incredible
lots of laughs, actually interesting plot, potential for a part 2, great voice acting - i'm a fan!
recorded one of the new stories today as well so expect that for this weekend, and probably yae miko's story next wednesday? no "minigame" events out yet anyways + it'll take a while before they're fully out.

The knot you're referring to is a shimenawa (like the artifact set) I believe it has something to do with purification in shintoism (someone correct me if I'm wrong)

"Strike me down, Raiden Shogun! Or are you too afraid to face the one and oni Itto?" Ei hears Itto and decides to have some fun with him by making a smiley face around him before finally hitting him and knocking him out cold.
They went all out on the charisma and personality with this quest. It'll be a while until we get a quest this fun to experience again but i'm just really hoping we can get a blue oni character in the near future, or at least get the chance to see some of the blue oni and how they're holding up on integrating with Inazumans. Itto def deserves a second story quest just so we can see that whole side to the non-human people of the region.
Ooo or we might see them mentioned in a future Kujou Sara hangout like with Gorou's hangout having a cameo.
I hope Ayato’s story quest is just as fun in his own way like Itto’s since they seem to be great friends!

imo the inazuma lore is REALLY good, but the archon quest could have been a lot better,, and when i say the inazuma lore is good,i mean the main world quests like seirai, watatsumi, tsurumi and even enkanomiya ! and some of the more recent inazuma quests and events have been pretty good too, like ei's second story, yae's story,itto's story and the irodori event !

we really do need more characters like itto, his personality is so unique it made me realize how we didn't have a genuine comic relief character before his arrival. as much as i love my edgy, scorned characters, hes truly a breath of fresh air.
I started this quest laughing and ended it with tears in my eyes because it's so wholesome
Itto's quest is pretty awesome, his VA is so talented and I felt guilty for laughing after throwing beans at him. Also I just did Yae's quest and I am pretty sure you'll love some of the new Lumine's facial expressions XD

when itto was talking about his gang and how they accept outsiders my mind immediately went to his demo where he asked sara to join them. i believe he understands her feelings of being an outsider and wanted her to just. leave her family or smth (bc let’s be honest her family sucks A Lot).
also, am i the only one who thinks sara and itto are the reincarnation of ei’s friends?? read the emblem artifact lore and tell me you don’t see the obvious similarities...kinda sus if you ask me.

I loved this quest so much! It was so wholesome and I enjoyed every second of it.
this is the best story quest hands down. i cried over it. sometimes i think about it at three am and it’s just pain. but it’s also very sweet and funny, it’s got all the feels.
When I first saw Itto way back when he was a leak I knew I’d love him. So the. His official release happened and found his materials I grinded and grinded for him, got him and just fell even more in love with the Oni himbo. Max his va did absolutely amazing he is so charismatic and goofy he feels super real ya know? His story quest is one of my favorites. I don’t see many Itto mains but I’m super proud to be one of them ☺️
this story quest is super fun! itto's va made it much better with his delivery. also, the ribbon thing on itto's and yoimiya's back are called "shimenawa" (yes the artifact set) they're mostly used in shinto shrines, sacred landmarks, and surprisingly sumo wrestlers 😊
One thing that I really love from this quest is that while everyone we've met are like "omg I've heard about you" or "you're the heroes to the nation!" and most of the time just asks for our help, Itto didn't even know who we are and have been trying to solve the problem himself. It's really nice to finally meet a character like this lol
I had him benched at lvl 1 for quite a while until I played his story quest, and now I'm a proud Itto main! 10/10 himbo energy, definitely would recommend

Itto was like the weird kid in class that your classmates thought was a clown but is actually the sweetest and realest guy you know. He knows when to fool around and when to be serious, and when he did became serious, you gotta prepare yourself cause he can really stab you with his words (even if it's not directed to you).

I just recently played through this quest myself and I had the thought about halfway through, like "I'm starting to think they didn't give Itto's VA a script, they just gave him an outline of events and let him go".
But that's what I love about it. It feels so... Natural. Itto is one of the only characters that feels like a person, at least in English
Max Mittelman is one of my all time favorite VAs. He does such an amazing job at bringing out character personalities and really making them feel like real people, especially Itto :)

I loved this so much! I like that Itto's Eng voice is so charismatic and so is Lumine's(her other voices are really soft)! They would be besties honestly- I don't know about the thing on Itto's back but In Japanese tradition people throw beans at Oni because they believe it will drive away the demons(Oni) and spirits that carry bad luck! They literally say ''Oni go away! Blessing come!''
Here are some other fun facts about Itto's character(if you are interested lmao):
-Itto doesn't wear much clothing because Oni typically don't wear much cloths.
-Itto has a claymore because Oni are said to carry big weapons!
-His pets name ''Ushi'' translates to Ox and Oni's horns are said to be similar to Oxen(Ox).
I think Mhy used the whole ''Crimson Oni and Blue Oni'' because Oni's skin color are usually Light red or Light blue. That's all I know but Oni in Japanese tradition are considered to be VERY strong so I think Itto could definitely beat up a bunch of people if he wants to lol!

I absolutely love Itto! I relate to both Gorou and Itto so much. It’s always the Geo characters that I relate the most with.
Honestly I was so excited that my favorite voice actor was gonna voice Itto. I just knew immediately I was gonna love Itto. The characters he voiced in the past have a bit of Itto’s personality and I love every single one of them. Itto is like the only character that talks back to Paimon. I remember when people were thirsting over Itto and bc he had himbo energy I expected to him to have Kronk’s deep voice but this voice is perfect too.

my playthrough of this it gave me so many feelings but this time i actually teared up a little
honestly i felt so drained when i had to play this and i put it off for a while but when i did play it i instantly fell in love with itto as a character and the story itself. i think mhy worked so insanely hard on his character and backstory. the quest was so beautiful to me and its definitely my all time favorite, ittos also become my favorite character since i played it. his va did so well too, everything about itto and his story is honestly just so perfect lmao. im hoping he comes back sometime soon, definitely one of the most fun characters in the game playstyle and personality wise
