MASC and Superchargers both. They're great for the occasional burst of speed, but even then, the possibility of rolling a two is never zero. Lost one of my favorite light 'mechs in a match because it fumbled a supercharger roll.

You don't need to dump ammo, you have CASE automatically. Besides, if you find yourself in dense terrain, you will want those MG's to deal with BA and infantry.
it says "Clans who have had great success with producing configurations of the Executioner were the Smoke Jaguars and the Burrocks, who drew up the original blue prints." plus its more fun to say vape kitties anyway.
I just played one of those today. Was the last mech of my Star still standing (okay, safe for an Adder Prime without arms, but that one doesn't count). I lost thiat game badly, but out-flanking a Stinger with a 95 ton machine was fun.
Love Battletech, used to read the novels in my local library as a kid. I have zero interest in playing the tabletop, I'm strictly a pc gamer. But damn your videos are entertaining as heck. Subbed.
0:48 It's a 95 tonner omnimech with a 380XL and MASC. What were you expecting? The engine is usually the single most expensive system, the bigger the engine rating, the bigger the cost, and XL Engines cost 4 times as much as normal counterparts. And then there's the madness of xXl engines, which cost 20 times as much as a standard engine of the same output on top of doubling movement heat, generating heat while idling, and being very prone to getting hit.

Might be my favorite Assault in any tech bases. The funniest thing about this is that the Config D, an absolute demon of a variant, is considered a training mech lmao
I tested the executioner once when I got the Clan Invasion box, and while I wasn't unhappy with it, there are other clan mechs that were cheaper and that I liked more.
I think I may have had a dyslexia moment. Because on the wiki it says, "clans who produced the executioner were smoke jaguar and burrock, who drew the original plans"
Damn, you can slip in lore in 3 min and keep it mostly tactics. You win the challenge.
Yippee!
@@Harpy_ExplainsDAMN LOOT BUG-
MASC is the bane of my existence, however every mech that uses it goes unfathomably hard design wise. love the exe.

Hooboy... Waiting for my clan invasion box. Then this drops.
sorry about your balls

just checked Sarna, it wasn’t the Smoke Jags which developed the original Executioner (the Executioner-B), it was Clan Burrock

Man, I love these works. Nice job on getting in that little bit of lore and still going over the key points to playing the mech.
That's a lotta C-Bills! Also love mechs with gauss loadouts waayyyy too much, and this one jumps.

well yes, because if you need a good mech, you clearly are not a good pilot
any trainees that die a fiery death were clearly unworthy

Probobly much less painful to look at as well
mech was made by burrock, but best to treat it like a cross between a grasshopper, banshee and charger, more so with the A variant
