Diplo has really been the name of the game in this strange, non-chronological series. You have examples of great diplo like spuds constant balancing act to save himself from despair (until now) to absolutely abhorrent diplo like RadTad joining against Russia so that he can get... -1 capital region. On top of that you have low scum diplo like Bharat betraying their allies for one or two transfers because he spent more time in his enemies channel than his ally all the way up to ultimate admin scumery with the Duel Monarchy betrayal which would most certainly have resulted in a rehost if the admins were on the other side and at least a long rules discussion if there were admins on both sides of the conflict. Truly another great series with it's own flavor to add to the long list of unique series this channel features

Honestly while rule discussion and host issues have been shown in small scale in the past, I'd say that this is probably the most blatant example of admin/host abuse that has been displayed in any of your videos so far. It's shows a true lack of character both to pursue and be complacent in such unsportsmanlike conduct, especially in a game like this one where the rules exist to ensure that exactly THIS kind of stuff doesn't happen.
I love how the ultra despair seemed like the near-full occupation of Hungary. And then the Dual Monarchy commenced their betrayal somehow making things worse. And then PLC fell apart, DM's naval and land battles sputtered out, territories were ceded to Russia, China was made to capitulate...and suddenly it could be the enemy alliance's Ultra Despair.
Honestly , this war is a massive disaster for the Burgundian side. Scandinavia loses some of the best provinces in the game , PLC becomes a republic (the war started because he didn't want to be one) , DM is back and he might try to attack Burgundy after this war , China Trumpcard is wasted. Even if they win this war they are still going to leave way worse than they started. IMO the only ones who are going to get satisfied after this war are Ottomans and Romania.

Depending on how the war goes and how it's won, because of the scale of it, i think even the ottomans and Romanians will possibly be dissatisfied simply because there isn't enough war score to go around. Like scandi wants stuff from elbians, burgundy might want some too, poland is likely gonna demand something at the very least. There is so much to take and so little war score to use since it's not a great war.
It's interesting to see a DM switch side so many times in a game. I would have expected them to be always allied with the Elbians and be arch-enemies with Burgundy and Scandi, but i guess it's also a good thing since the game is much more dynamic now, instead of the same sides clashing against each other every time
I love the fact that now PLC is a rebel heaven wasteland. They have important lands for the Russians and Elbians for the peace talks but the rebels and everything else just made it a wasteland that one is smart enough should not venture into it.
That was a really well played fighting retreat, I was surprised that the Italians didn't break your 4 army's and rush into your mountains to cut you off from the Elbians!
I've been attacked by a giga-hugbox before. It was my first games in Heirs, Bavaria forming Germany, and two allies, plus half the world just declared on me because they'd decided to partition the Germans for lands. One was France, tbh, so makes sense, but he'd been in my alliance chat until the day he declared, telling them all our startegies for the inevitable Great War I can never take these sort of partition gang bangs.
Honestly this weird non linear way of showing this campaign is amazing in the way of polishing up content, cause the campaign itself seems kinda garbage lmao

I think you guys could turn it around. There’s the return of the Russian provinces, China losing all its troops, the DM and Scandi losing their navies, Burgundy/DM being too incompetent to push the Elbians, and Scandi getting occupied by the heroic South Americans. It’s possible
