Rax was the last boss I learned befote my break. Scythe is tbe coolest weapon in the game and the pet is sick. This is a great guide! You're right, it is 2023 and things just explode now.

Animate dead and crypt is just EZ mode lol. I wish you did this with tec since most people would likely be using that. Either way, nice to see a video from a magic perspective instead of the other types. That’s what I’ll be using but sadly won’t be able to sponge damage as much with tectonic.
I always struggle with ranged (animate dead soaks up way more damage then anything else) magic is definitely my style of choice. But everyone has their own preference 🙂
Any new players watching, please start with range. Mage is the hardest to learn arrax on. Unless you have animate dead with crypt, you can brain dead the boss without the need to learn mechanics
@@chrisfontenot3872 Just keep trying :), remember to keep the core off of you and calmly watch out for mirrorbacks and leg swipes. You'll get it eventually.
how the fuck are you not using all your food? im pretty high stats and whenever i fight this dick, i am going through my food like a fat kid at Christmas. I literally run out of 5 supersaradomin brews, my full inventory of sailfish and a war tortoise full of sailfish and im still dying. i go through half my food in round 1. i can get to round 4 but im dead within 15 seconds

Use range, vuln bomb last phase, kill rax on spider phase till mirror spawns, kill mirror and keep hitting rax with aoe abilities.
I prefer to use magic, get more damage soaking from animate dead and crypt.
I think ranged is ok at best
Mage is BY FAR the hardest style to kill rax with. I would highly suggest any begginer use range until you are familiar with the boss

If you can solo rax you can DEFINITELY get a Zuk cape! And this is coming form someone who can barely get a rax kill
Really? I'm probably like 500 rax kc but I've never given Zuk a try cause well idk I'm a noob and figured it'd be out of my reach for now

Mage can be tricky to learn :) I stink at ranged though. The most important thing is learning how to avoid as much damage as possible.

Animate dead and cryptbloom soak alot of damage, also being smart with your defensives is a huge saver.
