My Dad said he would pay extra on Sunday Ticket just to have Dan Miller's voice on TV. Something to consider NFL.
You might have to watch the game on a 20sec delay but get a radio app and find 97.1 the ticket

There is a website for that! It helps you sync your radio audio with the TV broadcast. Just Google sync my game.
@petermanning5483 yea the TV delay is wild. I listen to Dan in the car and take a ride while everyone I know is in front of a TV and I'll accidentally spoil it for them 😂 but it more enjoyable to listen to Dan than watch the game.

The official job title IIRC is "spotter". Every broadcasting crew has them, sometimes you hear the TV guys give them credit as well, when they talk about their team.
I need to know who Dan Miller's stat guy is. That dude is clearly working his butt off, trying to make sure Dan's informed. It's so entertaining to watch that guy work. Give this man some credit!!!

Man I don't know what's wrong with me today but I actually got choked up watching this, and I've watched a bunch of these. I'm just so proud of this team. I also don't think they could be represented by a better group of men in the box. I love this combination of those that have a mic and the two guys in supporting roles that make the broadcast flow so nicely. These guys are the best!

I fell down a rabbit hole of Lions videos and now all I want is to hear this man scream with joy after the Lions win against the 49ers (hopefully). I don't really care for football, but something about THIS TEAM right now makes me so emotional. God I hope they win.

Dan, you always please. Dan has the voice and he always gets me pumped. Listening to him gets my heart pumping, the game against the Vikings I couldn't control myself I was sitting at a Red light and LaPorta scored and Dan called it and I got out and went nunts. Everyone except 2 other people were looking at me like I was a lunatic and when the other 2 cars started honking their horns and cheering then everyone caught on. It was awesome. Thanks Dan.

Part of the joy of the Lions’ run this past year and a half is seeing/hearing the very BEST of Dan Miller. Irreplaceable voice in this city. He deserves this just as much as any of us!

I heard that due to nfl regulations Dan and Lomas won't be calling the Nfc championship. I haven't found any confirmation on that anywhere but if true it stinks. Might be why the greatest hits video is already out

I think joshshuster2916 is right. The games are a national broadcast with no blackout rules.
It'll also be a neutral broadcast crew, so no pro-lions energy like Dan and Lomis have.

Honestly,Dan Miller deserves this so much. Every decade or so,the Lions actually have a season worth while and seemingly lets down the people in years past and Dan Miller still had to commentate some rough seasons game by game,week by week,play by play,the whole shebang. I'm just happy Miller can have a reason to be energetic on these air waves.
Great guy, can't say enough. I see him every now and again. We get to chat sometimes and he is a very grounded person. Family guy, loves the lions 💙. Professionally I would love to learn from him (I'm a professional artist and went to specs) the guy gives me so much pride when I watch on the road and at home. Thank you Mr. Miller, you truly are a Detroit treasure. 💙🦁👑☮️

As a lifelong diehard Eagles fan who suffered for over 50 years before we finally won, i’m rooting for y’all. Believe me when I tell you that once you finally get to the top its unlike anything you can possibly imagine. As much as I thought I would know how it would feel, I was wrong. It’s almost 6 years since we won the Super Bowl. And I STILL can’t watch highlights of that game without getting emotional.

I have travelled all over this country, and listened to so many local sports announcing teams. There are a lot of good ones out there, and some great. But Detroit is incredibly fortunate to have top-tier talent calling all of our sports. And, there are none that surpass Dan and Lomas.
I'd love to be able to livestream Dan casting the game, he's so animated.

I used to listen to all the Lions games on the radio when I was a delivery driver for years and years. Dan Miller has been through the lowest lows with this team. I've heard the disappointment, heartbreak, and every awful emotion comes through his voice during that time. This man deserves to call a winning team and to see him get this excited calling winning Lions football is a beautiful thing
