I love stratia Lipid Gold (formally Liquid Gold) but incorrect to say that Stratia is similar in price to Cerave. First Stratia doesn't make 2oz or the 4oz sizes anymore, their products are now 1.7oz and 3.4oz. The 1.7oz is $27 while the 3.4oz is $50, Cerave Night cream is about $14 for the 2oz and $15 for the 3oz. In terms of value per price there is no comparison.

I also like Vanicream Daily Moisturizer, Isntree Yam Root Vegan Milk Cream, Celimax Dual Barrier Skin Wearable Cream, The Ordinary NMF + Phytoceramides, elf Pure Skin Moisturizer, and Purito Dermide Balancing Barrier Balm and the sleeping pack in the same line. I used to like the Ceramedx line, but my skin developed a sensitivity to it. The Pacifica vegan ceramide line isn’t heavy enough for my skin. And if you’re allergic to lanolin, verify with the manufacturer that the cholesterol they use doesn’t come from lanolin. Not all ceramide products do.

I have to comment on the Skin1004 Probio Cica Enrich cream. For me, it only seems thick during application, but once applied it feels light and doesn’t feel greasy at all, I wore it all last summer and have been trying to finish my winter moisturizers so I can return to it. FYI, I have mature, somewhat dry/dehydrated skin made more sensitive by rosacea.

Illiyoon Ceramide ATO Concentrate Cream, bought the 500ml jar. I use it for face and body. The Stratia Lipid Gold is a must for me in every routine, but too light as a moisturizer for me.

Hi Sarah, Does the peach tint of G&G Happy Barrier cream or the Stratia LG, stain? I wear this at night & I’m worried about it potentially staining pillowcases, sheets/PJs. Has this happened to you with either? Getting ready to place a G&G order before they run out of my serum again so hoping you may see this before I do. Which is your fave unscented of all these is most lightweight for summer while still being moisturizing? From what I’ve read, Skinfix cream is a bit on the thicker for nighttime side which I would normally like, except in this HEAT! 🥵🔥 Thx.🙏

We get Face Facts here in Ireland; they do dupes of CeraVe with much better and cruelty free formulations that are a fraction of the cost of CeraVe. They have a Hydrating Cleanser with Ceramides & Oats which is in a huge pump bottle (exactly like Cerave) - just 4 euros in the discount store. They have a marvellous selection that doesn't aggravate sensitive or oily skin. But they're probably unavailable in the US!

I bought the Kopari cream for 50% off during Ulta 21 DOB. Its very moisturizing and spreads easily, but I felt it was too heavy and greasy for my combo/oily skin and would run into my eyes which was annoying. $42 is high for a moisturizer (tho it's 60 ml) so I would only invest in it for dry skin.

It really surprises me how many good and affordable products there are out there. I remember when my mom was going through chemo how dry and sensitive her skin became. One thing that is worth checking out is the cosrx snail cream - going back to chemo snail mucin was actually tested and researched for it's benefits for skin that is dry from things like chemo and radiation. The Ceramiaid Cream is also wonderful for extremely dry and sensitive skin. The Purito Deep Sea Cream is nice as well- a little less thick and occlusive than the others but very nice because it will work well for daytime routines as well as evening. No fragrance in it either and it has some soothing ingredients like panthenol and allantoin.

I had high hopes for the Pacifica. I did finish the bottle but it took a long time because I was forcing myself to use it. Not sure why because my sensitive skin was fine with it. I just think it wasn't nourishing enough And I wasn't a fan of the scent. I also used up the elf pure skin but won't repurchase. The Vanicream in the tub It's thick but too basic for my 47-year-old skin. My favorite is still Walmart's equate daily moisturizing lotion in the pump bottle. I can't believe it's 6.88. I use it on my hands too and since it's so cheap I can really layer a lot it on my face after my toners and serums. It's a cerave dupe but not identical, it's better. I can even put it on my lips and it's so soothing. I will cry if it gets discontinued.

I’m incredibly sorry to ask off topic, but I was going to purchase the G&G retinal as my first retinal. Unfortunately the Australian stockist won’t get any in for a few months. I was looking into getting the wishtrend retinal ( it has 0.03% retinal). Should I just start with that for now? Did you find it helpful at all?
Or should I just deal with having to pay a LOT more and get the G&G a-game directly from their site?
Is the wishtrend retinal helpful at all?
I could also get the avene 0.1 retinal but was concerned about the strength ( I have heard however that due to how it’s formulated, it’s incredibly gentle… ).

So I ended up going to see my dermatologist who put me on a prescription retinol which has actually saved me tons of $$$. Been using it for many many years now with no problems except for when I try to introduce strong exfoliants. So I would just advise you to be really careful, ALWAYS DO PATCH TEST & START SLOW AND LOW.
