I know you spent a lot of time on this, but it looks soo bad. You should have used real bricks, which are super easy to find for free if you only need a few and don't weigh as much as you would think. The silver mylar is a hard pass, as well. A blue one would have looked more like water. I also think you did way too literal of a project.

you should definitely put a layer of blue acrylic or something on the mylar to protect it
