THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I missed two days of school and had no idea how to do anything gcf with polynomials, and this really helped me!!
I don’t see why this would ever benefit us in knowing in the future. All this math doesn’t make sense but we’re all doing it for no reason
These are good basic math lessons, don't doubt it. In the future, I would recommend learning the derivation of the time dilation formula (how clock rates change with speed) in Einstein's Special relativity theory. It is algebra based math, and you will need mathematical rules for factoring, square roots and exponents in combination to solve it (or just follow a solution, there are many videos about it). Start with the light clock derivation of the problem. And then, when you really master the rules for factoring, square roots, exponents and substitution in algebra, try the harder way as Einstein originally did it. Derivation from the Galilean transformation equations (Newton physics) to the Lorentz transformation equation (Einstein physics with high speeds).
It trains your mind to think logically . think of it as aerobics for your brain
Maths helps with evaluating every day chaĺlenges Once u indulged reasoning out maths problems it sharpened your skills for the problems of life
@@Music_Creativity_Science dude what
i meann it does get u thinking
Nice break down of the approach. Love going from numbers to variables. Very important to teach early. I now realize I was conditioned in high school how to look at these problems. Made abstract college level math(s) much easier. Without this base, I’d never have been able to catch on to the next level. Not even calculus, but things like set theory. Know the basics and you can build on them. 🎉
Thank you so much for this, I learned more in 6 minuets than my teacher over 2 days. He can’t grasp the fact that some concepts are simple, and over complicated them. On top of that, he doesn’t even really teach, he just does 1 problem fixes the answer and goes to his desk. So ty so much, saved me from stressing out over summer work (not summer school lol)
Thank God you explained the problem right away and added examples after. Much less confusion. When you bounce back and forth between problems you simply confuse me. I also liked that you weren't trying to sell us something. I understand this is a job for you but it is our peace of mind to learn without the confusion.
Once more thing since I am on a roll... I absolutely hate when you put MANY WON'T GET THIS. Please be more positive with some putting helpful info... like fractions, PEMDAS, etc.
For some of us you are the only person we see in a day. Make it helpful and pleasant please.

I am super thankful for your explanation. I am no longer lost with this. After head trauma I am relearning Algebra 1. ❤
Thank you for this. I’m going to recommend your channel to my Algebra class. They all learn differently so it’s nice to have another option for them. 😊
You are a good teacher thanks for teaching us.
You are a perfect teacher and you have helped me alot

awesome matts teacher i dont know any of these matts but because u are an awesome an awesome teacher am learning but following your teaching thank u blessing ❤💯
Thank you so much, this is definitely the best video among all explaining this topic. Cheers!
Thank you so much for helping me understand this concept😊
Great teaching. 👍 👍👍
Helpful video ty!!
This video is a great review of factoring. Thank you.
5:36 pm on 3:29, great video!
This is what our learners should be watching.
No, this is what our teachers should be watching.
I have enrolled In an online class.
Very well explained and easy 2understand by GCF
I need to take the Hiset test, but the only thing that stops me is math. I checked out your math courses on your website, and it looks interesting, things I need to pass my Hiset test. I can get some of the math but not all of it, because it's very hard to understand to me, it seems very confusing to me. I need something that I can understand and actually do the problems.
Thanks alot teacher....easy and comprehensive explanation...
So when u say you factored out a 2 and it’s not from the common factor . How did u come up with the 2
Am preparing for my GED test in 2 weeks, I need some advice on revision
Love your videos!
4x^2-8x+12
4(x^2-2x+3) ❤
omg thx this helped so much i apricate it so much
rlly good lesson!
Which application are you using to teach
I'm wondering the same here as well
Why did you not factorize this quadratic equation te
4{x2 - 8x + 12)
already talking to much John I don’t wanna be friends I wanna know how to factor the gcf
thanks
I had difficulties with this kind of math in high school because I couldn't connect it to anything in the real world. I'm long out of high school and does occasionally do some math but have never had the need for a math problem like this. Can anyone tell me an everyday use for this problem?
All higher math deals with lines and strange shapes. Those equations are used in the sciences to help figure out rates of change, getting Apollo 13 back to Earth, radio waves, etc.
Everyday life math only goes as high as some algebra and some geometry in a few circumstances with mostly elementary school math being used.
What about 1 x 4, 1 x 8, and 1 x 12? 1 is a common factor and you should eliminate it just as you eliminated 2.
Sweetness!
Math with Lombard... "Mmmkay", "I'm gonna go ahead and..." 😅
I went through calculus 3 and never used a bit of it.
4(x2 - 2x + 3)
(x+2x,-2) (x+2x-4) (x+2x-6)
This is pretty easy.
My apologies the expression is 4(x2 - 2x + 3)
How would you factorize this?
This is the easiest explanation I've ever seen so far.........
Dat bih look crazy
Greatest common factor
Greatest common factor slaps🤧
I don’t get it 😢

First, it appears that you, as most of us in teaching science, have avoided the English language. My excuse, as for many in my math departments, are gifted with dyslexia. Yet, if you want to present a polished product, you may consider improving your text. I do helpfully mean this comment.
Second, your presentations appear to me that you are talking to a dumbed-down population. As a retired teacher of mathematics, I got bored from the beginning of your discussions. Yes, the students were less and less prepared for class discussions as time went on. Fractions, Krypto, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus, were among my favorite courses to teach undergraduates.
For example, on the first day, I would ask my Trigonometry students to add 1/12 and 1/16. With only a twenty percent success rate, the dumbing-down had started well before I retired. Sorry, I am approaching 90 and too tired to help. I wish you a successful future.

I can't get it easily.
Your great at explaining things, just like Joe Biden.
Ok, but how is know all this practicle for life?
Pure knowledge is worth getting in and of itself. not everything has to be related to a practical use. don't you enjoy a novel, a movie, a beautiful work of art?
Disappointed you didn't solve that quadratic and then explain the result. Or simply choose a clockwork example.
It is not asking to solve. It is just asking to factor. That is something that I used to get confused as well.
Anyone else here from Wattpad 😍
who esle is here from harri-san ❤❤❤❤❤❤
bro can you stop talking and start the process already
You talk too much
your opinion is wrong
agree - talk too much - also copied end product down wrong - should not be squaring 4
thank uuu
