Okay, so I'm sure I overthought the ISTJ MV but we have a first reaction and a second reaction for that MV. Note: **At **19:27** I talk about the meaning of MBTI and the ISTJ personality type** because I was finally intrigued enough to dive into the whole MBTI thing lol! This is definitely my favorite song by NCT Dream so far, and Poison was insanely elegant and different from what I'm used to with these guys!
"Oh you beautiful bastard!" I CANT WITH YOU 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Gotta say, you're my favourite reacter/reaction channel. I'm not into people pausing and talking alot while reacting but with you, it's different. Anyone can tell that you're really interested in the music and try your best to explain and understand the meaning behind them. And also you appreciate their beauty hence the BEAUTIFUL BASTARD 😂Keep going!
3:08 "That's not a shredder, that's a f**kin high end blender.. right there with those blades" ijbol 🤣 thank you for reacting nct dream's poison and istj. If you have a time, please listen to the whole album it slaps hard.
I was initially very confused by the whole MBTI concept for this comeback and why they specifically chose ISTJ for the title. Your interpretation actually really makes sense though when you consider the juxtaposition between the ordered and practical nature of the stereotypical ISTJ and the chaotic world portrayed in the MV. I think you're spot on with the idea that the lyrics talk about someone wanting to change their personality but realizing (or DREAM telling them, rather) that they don't need to change. It's very validating as an ISTJ myself. I always love your reactions and analyses because I feel like so much effort goes into creating the storylines and hidden messages behind lyrics and music videos that often get overlooked, as people tend to focus more on the superficial aspects of the song.
Poison is probably my favourite b-side on the album (although there are other contenders) and it's definitely worth looking into the lyrics of the whole song. It's probably one of the more psychologically complex songs Dream has done so far... Random bit of info that might read into meaning of ISTJ track- the legendary SM songwriter/ producer Kenzie was in charge of this song and she is apparently ISTJ. The Dreamies represent the ENFP personality type (although most of the members classify themselves as introverts when they choose to classify themselves which Renjun refuses to do hehhee) which is the complete opposite of an ISTJ. They come into a very ordered place full of curiosity about this person who is so different to them (and they introduce a lot of chaos too) but they truly want to understand the other for who they are, rather than putting people into narrow categories. So they escape from this categorising "MBTI world" and go back to the "Real World" - I found it a very lovely concept :D
4:00 the korean title for "Poison" is "모래성" means sandcastle bastard + SOB count: 6 sorry, couldn't help it. it was so great lol. (1:15 (love this one especially LOL) 8:418:559:4812:3619:00) As always, I enjoy your reactions so much! You notice and appreciate everything! Especially love how you piece your theory/thoughts of what you watched and heard so well. Im usually too scatter brained that I loose track and have a difficult time putting all my thoughts together to fully express it and it put into words. Watching your reactions is very entertaining and validating to see similar thoughts/theories. Glad that you enjoyed both songs, especially ISTJ. Thank you for putting so much time and effort in your content! 💚
I feel there are a lot of horror movies references here too. The maze of The Shine or the location with the security cameras that looks just like Bates Motel, not mention the whole sanity hospital and the clown ride. For me its channeling that "nightmarerish" vibe, for feeling lost. In other hand there is the school and the video locations that are kind of oasis in all that mess, which could mean when you are diving into yourself your are in a safe space. Idk if it makes sense but...
This year I started listening to kpok. I had never given myself the opportunity to hear and see what they do in their songs, I keep surprising myself and discovering more groups. The truth is that most of the music that is made today is not to my liking. I took the pleasure of listening to kpop and so far I don't regret it. I also recommend that you watch Kard-Cake's practice dance, you'll be surprised
What I understood from their interview about the album is that the members represent the MBTI ‘enfp’ in this mv, which is the exact opposite of the MBTI ‘istj’ and they are talking about ’istj’ from their ‘enfp’ perspective, apparently they are interested in this ‘istj’ person and trying to figure them out and see them as a maze(?) because ‘istj’ is known for being reserved and I guess hard to understand and figure which make them interesting in the perspective of an ‘enfp’!, i hope i make sense💀 i love this song tho, it’s my new favorite dreamies song and the album is also AMAZING

Thank you so much for this reaction!
thank you 7dream for bringing back SUMMER HALLOWEEN!
내가볼때 최고의 보이 그룹은 NCT다. 아무도 그들의 스타일에 범접 할 수없다.
I love the way you think about it and dissect it 💛
I hope that they perform this on stage. This song can be a mega-hit if they market it right. I'm obsessed with it. Perfect for the summer.
They never disappoint
...the way you get speechless is soooooo relatable ^-^
이 노래는 미쳤습니다.
18:09 - From what you're trying to express, I got that "you have to know where you're at to know what to move forward from..." ^-^

Is the song about them saying that MBTI doesn't define you as a person?
