Hearing Kai say THE when standing his vanguard always takes me back to when Naoki freaked out over it in their first match against each other.
I love that Kai used every version of Dragonic Overlord to destroy Shion just to help him through.

This reminds me of a match I had I went 13 and 0(full matches he was really stuborn) he didn't stop demanding rematches it was fun I got to get practice with a good chunk of my decks eventually the next tournament he managed to beat me I was impressed he hung in there and didn't just quit after the massive beating he took.

The duel between *Naoki* and *Chrono* is almost beautiful, it's like Naoki is fighting his old self, doing his best to push the Cardfight Club further and not let his comrades down.

I've watched this series 3 times thus far and I still don't fully understand what exactly Kai was intending by all this. Yes yes Shion took on a kai like persona for this season, and to be honest with his current situation it suits him. Reckless and doing what he has to to achieve his goal. Same thing Kai did. The jacket is a symbol of the time Kai took his own path and separated from the others. but the fact remains is why Kai decided he needed the violent guidance of dragonic overlord unless he was told by kouji that Shion would benefit from always encountering him. Which leaves me to say again no wonder Chrono does what he does next season. it seems like this trio is consistently puppeted by the guys in the background and No wonder they get fed up.

I never understood the hate for Chrono beating Naoki. Like it's not like Naoki is incredibly strong compared to like the heavy hitters like Q4, AL4 etc. Like he's good but he's like Kourin good which isn't that strong. I had a harder time seeing Chrono and Tokoha beating Leon and Jaime.

The Rebirth was a reverse unit and in the anime universe after the first link joker war ended all the reverse units turned back to normal so they don't exist anymore

This is still my favorite episode of both GIRS Crisis and Cardfight!! Vanguard G. It's just so good seeing Shion get his butt kicked and watching his struggle with his problems.
