I watched you live in Perth.. you were opening for the butterfly effect like.. almost 11 years ago or so.. and I didn’t know your band at the time.. I was on the dance floor and when your music started playing and I heard your voice echo throughout the venue.. my soul went to a level that no one has ever taken to me too.. I remember dancing to your music and being in absolute awe of your voice and presence.. I have loved you guys ever since. Thank you for the life changing music... your group is unbelievable and I’m so grateful to exist in the same lifetime as all of you.. you have saved my life with these songs ..
Home. I only know of one other song called "Home" and that's the name of the album that it's on. It's from Sevendust. That song stayed in my head for over a decade. It's nice to hear a different piece called "Home". Love you guys, DLC. Kim, you straight up gave me a shirt mid-show and my size must have been obvious because you nailed it with a medium.
I was feeling a little underwhelmed with the new album until this track. This will definitely be one that takes time to grow on me. Just like Catalyst Fire did.
Definitely my favourite from the album. It's simple overall, yet so complex when you really analyse the instrument-work. The lyrics and melody truly resonate with me as well. They've really done a great job with this song. #TeamDLC
