At 9:14, to fill the sliding gap with tiles, ideally you should have used the 1x4 plate with a stud on either end and a two-stud long tile length in the middle, which I saw you did use elsewhere. It would have allowed you to fill your 1x4 gap perfectly and keep your wing thickness consistent. :)
This is cool, I also noticed you can use the 1x4 plate with the flat part in the middle instead of using a bunch of plates and tiles to hold the flaps in place. This makes the wing only 3 plates thick
I like these kind of tutorial, you have a really good knowledge, thank for sharing it with us, I might start to think to finish my 747 project. Would love to see more tutorial about planes, like how to make am internal structure strong enough to hold the weight or how to attach the wings
Leading edge wing slats I would guess are just like the extendable flaps, I mean if you look at the F-100 and F-16's wing slats they extend out and the F-16's at least can turn to fit the speed of the aircraft.
I can't get the hinge to attach properly I'm building the ac130 wing so I need it to extend straight then it uses hinges but it does not work does anyone have any ideas or tips I can do pls thank you
I have an idea can I make a video post it in the comments and show you the wing I'm attempting to build will that be possible and you can make a video of attaching wings or making diffrent types of wings
On 747 you had very nice looking flaps. I tried to do this myself and it looks like shit I wanted to make flaps like those on 747 and this didn't helped at all. Although I love your vids and builds I must criticize this one

Yea. Great point!
I was about to say that!
Very well explained! Gonna try it out and see if it works!
I’m very glad that this video was useful. I look forward to see what you can do!
I do have a little video of my custom built 727, or Yak 42, with front flaps and stuff.
where do you get all those legos?
I will typically get them from bricklink but will sometimes get them from the lego store.
Firefighters fitting fires
Lego plane engine tutorial please
Yes.
YES I can never figure out how to build a lego engine
Defenitly
Agreed
Yes it would be helpful
One-by-fours with two studs fit nicely instead of a lot of other bricks sometimes. Anyway very interesting and useful tips
I agree. This was what I had to work with for the tutorial.
I’m here in 2024 and back then in2019 you were my inspiration continue on
Gould you make a tutorial of landing gear doors
Sure I think I will do one on doors in general as well
BigPlanes nice
Very nice tutorial, I will definitely use this in the future! Loving the vids btw 👍
Thanks! I will keep making them if you like watching them.
@@BigPlanesCustomLEGOaircraft got on sanby
Where do you buy all the pieces like the wing pieces
I made a lego plane and added flaps and got a high powered fan, locked the gear and the nose actually lifted.
Post a video of it on youtube, would love to see it!

Nice Lego building to Torio of wings impressive and I like it
a like it so much it is so cool
Excellent tutorial. Congrats!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much because i was able to build it thx so much!
Thank you very much, it helped me make my own Concorde 👍
to cover up the inner flaps you could have used a modified 1x4 with only two studs and a tile like center
I'm not really good with making lego planes but this video has helped me soooooo much😀😀😀
there is a 1x4 flat modified that would secure the slideing flaps. but over all a nice build!
He inspired me to build my own lego thank you big planes
Im going to add a video next time off easier way of flaps, Please watch
Ok
Can you do a cockpit and landing gear tutorial?
i'm an architect-engineer and that was very impressive
Could you do instructions on your 737 southwest plane please, i want to know how to build it (and how much debt i need to go into) lol
This is perfect👍👏💯
You are doing great!Love your vids!
Thanks! Glad you like it.
How do You Get So Many legos i have like 130 and they are all the rainbow color
lovely wing design!!..
Thanks!
can you make a tutorial about retractable landing gears
Great video
How do you manage to have so many pieces ?
Your tuturials are nice
Thanks! Is there anything that you would like to see?
They can be tough. The best way is to try to design yours off of the real planes. That typically works.
why you are not building complex airliner wings
For smaller planes you could use the tiles with the stud on each end
Good point!!
Nice thumbnail wing
you could also use in that case those tiles with a stud then two spaces then another stud
Thanks I really needed this.
hey great video, for connecting the flaps you could also use the tile modified 2x2 33909
I used the 1x4 version of that, and it works really well
A very nice video, well explained. but I have one question, how do you cover the wingtip?
Thanks!! The wingtips are up to you!
@@BigPlanesCustomLEGOaircraft alright thanks for the answer!
Hi but where you thought the bricks?
Bricklink.com
Very good work!
Thanks!
I wanna know how he gets the wings kinda like diagonal.
And is there a list of all the pieces we need
i have a 747-400 with working flaps and i also put in the iconic tilted landing gear
I always thought you broke the rules of lego til i saw this vid
What rules?
@@BigPlanesCustomLEGOaircraft Like using a brick technique that breaks or puts pressure on the lego bricks.
Very good video and how we make a good fuselage
I should have a video for that coming soon!!
Thanks
What about a wingtip?
I wish he made the wing on the thumbnail
hi, what are the parts id you used?
Epic!
Whole airplane tutorial please
;)

Your right. That is one of the hardest parts of any plane big or small. I will be sure to do that.
Good video!
Thanks! More are on the way!
HES A WIZARD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MISSION PASSED
What if I have one giant molded wing piece
Great video! Although, please try not to move around the build/shake the build too much when building as it is hard to watch.
Again the guy that watched you're previous video, anyways nice video!
Thanks!!
와신기하네요😂🎉🎉
Awesome
Thanks!!
i would love to know how to make noses for passenger planes
Ok. I will look into that
awsome. and thanks for the amazing videos keep up the good work
How would you build slats and air brakes
I would use hinges on the top of the wings for the slats and the air brakes. For the slates I would use 2x2 curved slopes.
Where does he buy his blocks?
Bricklink.com
Extendable slats: show us how to make them.
Leading edge wing slats I would guess are just like the extendable flaps, I mean if you look at the F-100 and F-16's wing slats they extend out and the F-16's at least can turn to fit the speed of the aircraft.

Can you give me a little more detail
At 2:10 I did that step connected it but then when I connect it it bends and I can't c9nnect it to the base wing I made
The spaceing between the studs and the wedge plates has to be aligned correctly in order to not get a gap. What wedge plates are you using?
The same ones you are
I have an idea can I make a video post it in the comments and show you the wing I'm attempting to build will that be possible and you can make a video of attaching wings or making diffrent types of wings
When you made the flaps I made a technic to slide them before you made something 😅
My flap wasn’t very tight, can you help me? If you have discord, I can send you what I made so you can help me
i dont think i know anyone that has enough bricks to put flaps on their 5 foot plane
Can you made b777 and antonov 225
I could try
You’re a fucking genius lol.
Nice to hear.
Oh good
your good!?!
The pain😫 6:45

Each plane is different really. It depends on what aircraft you’re doing.
@@BigPlanesCustomLEGOaircraft i know but I wanted to build those complex flaps like on 747
I JUST LOST MY DOHHOOHHHOGGGg🔥🔥🔥🔥🥶🥶🥶🗣️🗣️
AND MY BROTHER TOLD ME HOW TO CHAaNGE, THE RAIN!
666,Very good
I KNOW HOW TO MAKE WINGS AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO MAKE THE BACK FROM THE PLANE AND FRONT
How about slap
I used to just put a giant piece of brick on my plane..
3:12 voice crack
Yea. Was getting ahead of myself there.
U should do it a little slower
My computer Isn’t powerful enough!!
It’s called pause the vid then do it
