After the falcon flew away for a bit i was hoping he would dive down, hitting one of the vultures out of nowhere. But, i suppose it takes too long to ''charge up''.
Why did the vultures disappear? Fascinating. I was thinking the falcon would swoop down on them. Did the vultures have their fill? Was the falcon forced to wait its turn. F= ma. With limited mass you need very high "a" to attack. Wow.
Wish I could say for sure, but think it had to do with a few other falcons showing up on the scene. In scenes when falcon is up in the tree, you might notice several other birds flying overhead. Those were other falcons. When the vulture saw the reinforcements they probably realized it was a lost cause. Very cool was that none of the other peregrines went after the originals kill. They let it be to relish his own hard fought meal.

The Vultures ended up flying away shortly after the falcon flew into the tree. I think partly because several other falcons showed up on the scene.
