Costumed contestants return in 1984 to compete in dealing games for prizes. There may be other uploads of this episode, but I want to put my upload back on my Channel.
Well, this may be the premiere of this version but look at the episode guide Ryan Rinkerman made. This episode should be episode #13(taped-wise). Also, Door #1 was repainted to orange. By this time, The Joke's On Us was just cancelled after 4 seasons and the new models were rotating, so the models here are not familiar to the viewers, the announcer sidekick is also not familiar at this point.
The pilot episode didn't even have curtains or the harp cue. The doors were used the entire show and would just open and the music would start. The episode with "Jenny Breedlove and the Krugerrand deal" (you see her at 0:15 in the opening credits) was the second episode filmed and still had the canary yellow center circle in door #1. I believe the third filmed episode also had the canary yellow circle.
It's not the pilot. It is among the first 10 shows for sure. The pilot hasn't aired since Family Channel days. The earliest episodes had a very bright canary yellow circle in door #1. It was repainted more orange...that appears in the opening credits. The pilot didn't have curtains. Only the doors were used and the harp cue was not used at all.
I only have one episode. I did have that up for a while. However, said network were blocking and taking down a lot of their originals. Recently, I put up an original, and said network took it down and gave me an [X]. So I ain't doing their originals anymore.
New Set, New Announcer, New Models, New Prizes, Old Me...

The announcer of this version is Brian Cummings. He was also the voice of Dr. Mindbender from “G. I. Joe: The Movie”.

I wasn’t born in the 1980s but it’s really good to take a trip down memory lane.
