OMG! This happened today, and I had my neon cow scammed! I worked very hard for it. So, it just makes me sad, I hope he has fun with it though.. Also, this is so rare, but the guy who tried to scam you was the guy who scammed me out of my neon cow! :(

There’s a sunny ex Misty video about how to get your pets back. If you get scammed do you have to go to adopt me website and type in their username and your username and they’ll eventually give your pets back
It’s real once when I was in Sunny server, somebody asked me that, but I didn’t fall for it. Somebody last time I fall for it and they waste my time. This is why I don’t join people unless they I trust them.

so i went to the official adopt me support page and clicked i didnt recieve my purchase. dont click i was hacked because i didnt have the right proof since i was technically never hacked and it takes so long to gather and answer the questions. so i kept saying i didnt recieve my purchase to the bot, i just went along with what it said until it let me add a paragraph to explain what happened. then i talked about how i had never heard of this scam, i would never have thought someone would impersonate me or my friend, i was in total shock and my friend and i are heartbroken. if you ever spent robux in game make sure to include that too because then they’ll be even more sympathetic. make sure you say the user of the scammer so he can be banned, and show the screenshot of him impersonating you or your friend and then make sure to tell adopt me your own user and your friends real user so they dont get confused. mention how you cant believe the adopt me community would do this, how they turned you and your friend against each other, and how you are just so upset.

That is literally exactly what happened to me but they failed. Here is the summary that my friend texted me bc I told her too.
Okay so you told me to join and when I joined they started asking me questions about our friendship. After that he said he would give u the frost dragon and the mega turtle and me the mega unicorn and other mega turtle. He then tells you to give me the winged tiger. Once I get the winged tiger he tells me to give my owl, flamingo, kangaroo, and meerkat to you. I start adding my pets but realize that the username looks different and instead of tthubes it says ttthubes. I tell you about this and you realize there is a clone of me too. We expose him and he leaves the game. Ttthubes trades me and says “give me my pet back” and I say “no scammer”. They both leave and we are left shocked.
I hate scammers. Especially that scam. I’ve always wanted to try out what would happen but sadly I don’t have any irl friends or another device.

My owl got scammed like this, i was the trusted friend but the scammer was super weird and hacked the game to change his usernames to my friends username. My friend did pay me back since she was the one who wanted to do it. We were both dumb and naive, stay safe out there!

There is another scam, people would say for a friend like a bacon hair join the server and then the person would create a avatar like your friend's avatar and then change the name to your friend's roblox name, then the player tells you to say to your friend leaves and then when the player joins in its alt, you will think that its your friend and will get scammed.
That one scammer be like:

yeah someone has tried to scam me and my sister by doing the SAME EXACT SCAM. Luckily me and my sister were right next to each other and we could see each others screens. It’s really easy to fall for. Always look who your trading when you do these type of things! Be safe!!
Some one tried this on me today for my turtle, kangaroo, and a sunrise chick but I never fell for it because I remembered this scam as it has happened to me many times
although i don’t play Adopt because of Pets, i quit Adopt Me’s main purpose in game because i lost all my progress and my valuable Pets ever since i lost my previous account, so i lost complete interests in the Petsand started from 0 but in Houses, i just decorate and don’t trade at all, but i bought that Peppermint Penguin that costs Robux and saved up gingerbreads for a Neon Fleur de Ice, a gift for my sister. as i was farming for Money to build a new house while growing the Fleur de ice with my sister, a Person came into my House and asked us the same thing, the more the scammer talks the more i found it fishy, so i just locked the house and kicked her out. i’m very sure she tried to scam us, the way she talks and the questions she asks, my instincts can tell that she was up to something, and the tricks are very similar as this.

Im watching this video and this scam is even more common now. its really sad honestly. the scammers pick semi rich people to scam but they allways have better pets then thier victim. i sorta know how it works to. Why it takes them so long to typing out to you and your friend is because they are making an alt account to imitate your trusted friend so you give all your pets to thier alt account instead but they somehow make thier alt invisable which is the only part that confuses me but yeah hope this helps and stay safe ❤️ this scam was a bit diffrent when i encountered this type of scammer it seems as if it was his first time or something lol

@jad_01_4 I just found out from a friend how the scam works. There is this quite rare item called the tombstone from 2019, and you can use that to turn completely invisible. I guess that's what they use. Hope this helps

lmao someone tried that on me yesterday, but since I don’t have any friends, I used my alt, so it was quite easy to notice another account was trading my alt, and not my main account haha. Forgot to take a screenshot of the user who tried to do that to me, but I do know the fake user of my account they made. Wasn’t fully aware of this scam before that interaction, and while I feel like it was easy for me to spot just because they used a V in the user while my normal one has a U, its probably really hard to spot sometimes especially if the user they’re making a fake account of has an l or a capital i because yk they could just use the opposite letter if so. Sorry to those who have lost pets because of this.
Tip: don’t walk around in circles awkwardly when ur talking cuz it’s a sign of you lying, which is good in this scenario, but the scammer might know ur lying

How the scam works. So you see. Most scammers that preform this scam are very rich like the scammer shown in the video. The scammer in the video has a bat dragon *2019*. Sooo say that your in this situation. And the scammer has a shadow dragon. The scammer tells you if u have a trusted friend/cousin. If you say yes they will ask you for them to join you. When you make your friend/cousin join you the scammer says that they need to go afk. Or in the scammer in this videos case. Says they are laggy. The scammer will ask you to friend them.. If u do add them-- well nothing rlly happens lol but it can be ok to not add them. Unless they beg you to idk..anyway just like shown in the video. The scammer will ask you to give your best pet to your friend/cousin when they join. The scammer will also tell you when u give ur friend/cousin your best pet. They have to give the pet back to you. If you trade/while your trading your friend/cousin. (Side note- when the scammer says your friend/cousin needs to give the pet back to you. They will also say if done. You win the the shadow dragon.) So you give your best pet to your friend/cousin. When did. The scammer will ask your friend/cousin to show your pet. If they show the pet the scammer will tell them to give the pet back to you. When your friend/cousin gives back the pet. The scammer will trade you and they will add the shadow dragon..for some reason. The scammer won't accept tho..the scammer will take some time to respond.. while they are "taking a bit long to type" they get their alt account that has a identical username to your friend/cousins user. For example. (Say that your friend/cousins user is "supercrazydude3450" the scammer will make a alt account user like "Supercrazydude345O"

Someone tried to do this with me and my friend, so we were both playing, adopt me, and my friend teleported to me and said "Some guy wants to give him a parrot or a frost dragon for free" And as soon as he said that i was like Thats definitely a scam So my friend told me to tp to him to the car shop where the scammer was And we were just tryna talk to him but he just said like 5 words and stayed silent And after a few mins the scammer said to tp to him so we did and this is where it all started. The scammer stayed silent as usual, and he told my friend to trade me, and he did. Then the scammer said trade back, so we did again, and he stayed afk, and i knew he was making an account of my user so i kept private chatting my friend that hes a scammer and my friend said maby we should confront him and i was like ok.But then the scammer came with a fake user account of me And kept following me so the scammer could probably say to trade me And my friend wouldnt trade me he would trade the scammer bc the fake user was following me but My friend confronted him and he stayed silent, few seconds passed and he left:::At the end my friend said that i saved his life :]]] 😃
