The steering thingy doesn't work in survival mode. It works for a while, but it's rattling around and eventually breaks, just like any of the other methods that rely on trapping unconnected geometry within the vehicle. The only 100% reliable way, is still to add and remove a steering thruster as needed. It's insane that we have to do stuff like this. I guess they were dead set on pre-Christmas release, because there's no way in Hell this game is finished.

I don't understand how these massive builds are possible when the game keeps giving me extremely high complexity warnings & kicking me out just because I built a "normal" village in the Dry Valley. 😢

The Fact that the Game is still be developed and Players are Creating Amazing Builds and Means of Transport is absolutely Incredible. There's one thing I haven't seen yet. A Train, yes, An actual Train. With mods like Create, you can do this in Minecraft but not in LEGO Fortnite. It is understandable as the Support for it isn't there as of yet, but I think it just might be Possible to Build Diesel or Steam Locomotives in the Game and have them Haul Resources or other Valuables between different points on the Map. The Method of Keeping the Engine and the Freight and/or Passenger Cars on the Tracks is along the Same lines as what's currently done with Most Monorails in LEGO Fortnite and even in Space Engineers, with Small Wheels holding them to the Track in the Inside (Basically the Running Gear, If you will) and the Actual Wheels outside on top of the Tracks to look as close to an Actual Train as best possible. With the New Star Wars Update, We get the Possibility of New Weapons or even New Crafting Recipes. Imagine being able to Build the Custom Sets by Brickmania from World War Two, Korea, Vietnam, or even the Gulf War in LEGO Fortnite? Imagine being able to have Actual Steering Controls, Turrets and Working Guns and even Flight Controls for your Aircraft? To all of those who are HALO or Star Wars Fans, Imagine being able to Build a Ship or Other Piece of Equipment that can be used in LEGO Fortnite as you play through the World and Fight Enemies! For now, let's stay focused on the Railway Systems. For those who wish to try this out, Feel free to do so. The Challenge here will be to Build a Railway Line that Connects at least 3 or 4 Villages, while also Maintaining a "Minifig-Scale" Appearance to the Engine, Tender (if it's a Steam Engine) and Cars. Each LEGO Minifigure is about 4.5 Bricks tall from what I've seen using LEGO Bricks and Minifigs that I have Lying around as a Reference. Try to keep the Line on Flat Open Terrain as best possible and Build Bridges and Train Stations where and When Needed. Use Small Wheels if you need to use Something as a Buffer. As for the Villages built around Natural Terrain like Waterfalls, You guys are literally Building Genshin Impact in LEGO Fortnite LMAO! Let me know what you think about this and I'll catch you in your next video man!
Lots of glider travel methods on here. It's really easy to make a flying vehicle. I slapped some wings and thrusters on my hauler and that is all I think I will really need for the entirety of my world.

Tell me you don’t build, without telling me , some trees don’t regrow, so if they are cut you loose them, it a broken build touches them, you loose them, thunder and lightning, you loose them, to keep trees in a build is a feat itself hahahhaha
Why does no one do regular survival? These ppl couldn’t do half this stuff inside survival unlike me doing everything the hard way. Show some true skill losers
