Out of all things I would never swap to a blaster engine there slow asf i own one and had it for like 5 years Thts just a fat no. I would recommend and will engine swap for a yz125 or a yz 250 engine

I wouldn’t even put in the money of a blaster engine I’ve looked at big bore and stokers installed on them. Still wasn’t fast at all if you ever wanna put money into for speed so a yz125 swap or 250yz swap cause Thts why ima end up doing for speed.
Put a Banshee engine in there, and it would be a unit. Honestly, I love the 2006 Blaster with a stroker kit all done up. Could go bananas and put an R6 engine in there.

i plan doing this with my roller anyway you could send me some pics or info i would need to fitting it in the frame and running the exhaust any major cutting or welding involved?
Do you have any more details in the build? How much fabricating did you have to do to get the motor to fit? What exhaust are you running? What additional parts did you need or have to make.
I’m about to build one of these, just wanting to know how the sprockets line up and the engine mounts, did you reuse the underneath one, how much mods are required to the expansion chamber? Looking forward to riding it as was going to restore the Blaster but don’t want something so tippy and having the rider sit right at the back.

I put a 95 YZ250 engine on an 01 Raptor and it gets a lot of looks as I'm sure that 2 stroke yfz does

@@IluvMikel my blasters making like 42 hp with a full fmf exhaust a big bore kit a upgraded carberator better air filter and it’s pretty fast

We put a 4 mil stroker with a dune port and high compression head..it has about 38hp when the engine is singing

Maybe he bought the yfz as a roller and put in the blaster engine. Also blaster motors are much cheaper to maintain, so thats a plus.

You are clueless,blaster engines make up to 47hp before any real mods…learns things my man,it’s easier than looking foolish.
No their accually not slow man my blaster is making 37hp and it keeps up with my friends 400ex no problem
I had a built 4mil Blaster that would scat. They're no slouch when done right. Of course there's better things out there but it was a blast to ride.
Why not put a go cart engine in it?

That tiny ass motor made more power than the yfz engine and it was 80 lbs lighter than a stock yfz
