All that hard work and effort and I didn't even consider it. All I wanted was the camera shot, ha ha. Fortunately, it was easy to get behind it with a razor blade and get it right. Great eye and thanks for watching.
Nice job One Nation Restoration. This was a huge transformation. I love your attention to detail, and the research you do really shows. Looking forward to seeing it run.
Huge shout out to Vintage Machinery. They have a ton of old catalogs and information about vintage tools from back in the day. vintagemachinery.org/mfgindex/detail.aspx?id=657&tab=3
I have that exact saw branded "Duro" by Sears, been using it for decades, and when I went to find a new metal cutting blade for it like I was using - not available. McMaster Carr had a 60" blade, I added a 3/4 spacer to raise up the assembly. Mike
Great job as always 👏 . I've watched all of your videos and loved them all !! I really appreciate the made in usa approach. ( I'm the same way ) . Great tips , great narration, can't wait for the next video 😀.
Love watching you videos for the helpful tips! Can you tell me what kind of paint is used here? Like what specific type of green? Thanks. Never mind I found it!
I just got one from this time area. I would like to know where you got the rubber (crown) that the blade rides on. so far it looks like all the parts are still OK and it has the original paint and stickers
I have a vintage powr kraft band saw just like that I just picked up but it is missing the top tension Spring can you measure yours for me so I can find a replacement? Thank you
I just picked up a Montgomery ward band saw not sure of the year but would like to restore it. I believe it is missing the wiring and switch to turn it on. The motor is wired directly with a plug, do you happen to know what the switch may have looked like?
Paint is a quick and easy way most people can make things look better. For $3 it probably looked like the best piece in their shop. Little did they know how great it could look!!
This is my favorite restoration yet! That green is AMAZING! The wheel density tip made so much sense too!
That green pops even more in person. Glad I could help!
You mounted the nice new decal upside down :-). Well done though!

Wow! This restoration was impressive! The green looks so good!
It isn't often that I break out the greens! I'm definitely happy with the color, too.
The final product looks amazing. Enjoyed the history too. Great job.
I get more into the history with every restoration. I appreciate the feedback on this - it drives the channel.

I appreciate the compliment about the history. Hours of research goes in for every piece I restore. I want to make sure it's done right.

Thanks for the support!
Where can I find replacement parts for one of these saws? I was recently given one of these and it needs a blade guide

Thank you for helping the channel grow!
I just picked 1 of these the other day for $25
Man such a shame someone painted over it. They needed a one nation restoration!
