Im really enjoying your daily vlogs, Sarah. You are really "growing". your channel and with good reason as everything you describe is thought out and described carefully. I love your choices of patterns and fabrics but I especially enjoy seeing the knitting gems you create. I look forward each day to. your postings - thank you. xx
Thank you so much for your support and lovely comment! I try my best to be clear and I really enjoy connecting with people here so I am so happy you are enjoying following along! 💕
Such a relaxing vlog Sarah. Just watched Kristen and she referenced you, Hayley, Deb and Katrina. Quite a lovely group of Aussie vloggers this year, so nice to see season appropriate content. Love the new bestie bag plans. ❤
Hahahaha When you said, “I decided to look at the drills”, I thought you meant as in the power tool (which I was very confused about, thinking I didn’t know Spotlight sold drills..? lol) and it took me far too long to realise you were talking about drill fabric! 🤣 I have some of that hen fabric squirrelled away in my stash. What a fun idea to use as a lining, I’m sure your sister in law will love it ❤ The lacework on your Whitmoor looks amazing, enjoy all of the mindless stockinette rows now as a lovely reward for all of your hard work! ☺️👏
Omg 😂 looking at drills would be so off-brand for me, but now that you mention it I really wish I were handy enough for it to be a reality. I would love to be able to rock a tool belt and go round confidently fixing things with my drill! 😆. It's actually gotten me thinking... I bet there are classes for women wanting to be more handy. I am going to investigate! How cute is the hen fabric? 🐓 I really can't wait to see how that looks in the end. Do you have any ideas what you'll use yours for?
Gorgeous fabric!!! And I’m intrigued about you having out washing in December 😂😂 I’m still traumatised by you leaving that candle lighting!! I’m so glad you’re all ok 😅😅😅
Hahaha yes I was quite mortified when I realised I'd had the candle lit all night. Then very amused to see it had still barely made a dint. 😂 Haha, that evening was so mild I didn't even need sunlight - it was dry overnight!
Thank you Libby! This is a nylon zip that was sold on a tape by the metre, and then I had to buy zip pulls separately to attach. I couldn't find the right length / size in a pre-cut length and the tape works really well!
@@libbybennett3067 Oh yay - I hope you enjoy making it! I follow along a youtube sewalong when I make mine, which is really helpful. It's the sewalong for the Bestie Bag by Sydney Graham. Maybe you'll find it useful too!
Thank you Sarah. Your Bestie bag is coming along really well. I love the lace on the Whitmoor, i ended u ripping mine out, i just couldn't get on with it.
Thank you! Oh no - how far did you get with your Whitmoor? Was it the DPNs that was the tricky part? I was hoping to get used to them now but every single row I curse them.
Love the way you pulled together all the colors for the Bestie! You thought of every detail. The cardigan will be gorgeous!
Thank you so much Peg! I do enjoy trying to match all the details to make the bags look as polished as they can!

The hens for the lining fabric is perfect as a secret nod to her interest everytime she uses her bag.
Thank you - yes, I think she will really love it!

Oh gosh! I love the hen fabric!
It's so cute isn't it?! 🐓
The fabrics for the bags are wonderful!
Thank you Janet! It's so satisfying using up pieces of fabric that would otherwise be sitting in a tub in a cupboard!
Love the chickens ❤
Aren't they sweet!? I am excited to sew with them!
Just loving the bestie bags - so good❣
Thank you Carol! I hope they are well received!
Gorgeous fabric combos on the bestie bags
Thank you Annie! I am excited to sew them all up!
I love the chicken fabric!!!
Me too, it's so fun! I am excited to get that bag made up.
The cardigan is looking fantastic 😊
Thank you Sylvia - isn't the lace pattern so pretty?!
Such a lovely knit and your bag is so attractive.
Thank you!
The colours of your bags look great. Did you use a metal zip?

@SoSarahSewed That's good to know. Thanks.
I just brought the pattern. You have inspired me to make one

Hi Sarah, I couldn't work out the sizing on the pattern.
Nice bag
