I just completed my 6th cycle treatment which was DA-EPOCH-R chemotherapy treatment for cancer. When I was diagnosed 6 months ago, I went from 160 lbs to 117 lbs in 4 weeks. I was nothing but skin and bones. I was ready for death. The pain was so bad I prayed to God to take me. I didn’t want to live! Here I am six months later. I have recovered from the onslaught of this disease. But there will be an ongoing monthly checkups for awhile to make sure the cancer doesn’t re-emerge. All through this ordeal, I focused on Thay’s teachings daily. The teachings doesn’t make the disease go away but it lessens its impact and makes one able to live without suffering too much. However, as for my recovery, it is nothing but a miracle. I can’t believe I’ve beaten it. The teachings work! But my journey isn’t over.

Lord byron, im definitely Not afraid to die, but how did you withstand the pain and suffering? For me, death would be such a blessing and easy way out...i have contemplated suicide, but i also know that is a true act of selfishness 💖

I am happy for your wonderful news. I am going to get CT scans on my lungs and pelvic area to check for tumors tomorrow. I was told I just had fluid build up and it would go away on its own. I didn't have health insurance and barely made enough money for food and rent. So I couldn't afford to see a specialist. I finally got health insurance and I am taking care of everything. I was told I probahave chronic bronchitis due to smoking given inhalers, hopefully in a week after all the tests and scans come back it won't be anything too serious. I've been reading Thays book on transforming suffering. I really love the book. I pray that everything goes well for you!

🙏🙏🙏 I've suffered from so many diseases like blood infection, skin problems, anxiety, stress, weak immune,, stomach problem, and also my right shoulder's nerve is damaged. the pain is terrible, cannot do any physical hard work and i don't think that nerve damage is permanently curable, i did go to many medicals and did lots and lots of treatments,, took many medications.. but nothing works for me.. So, now Meditation is my last hope.. and im practicing it from last month.. I hope it will change everything.. 🕯 🙏🙏🙏

Hope you're feeling better. Ayurvedic way of living along with therapy helped me with a lot of pain and inflammation. But yeah it sucks when nothing seems to work. Take care!

I recently rediscovered Wim Hof’s Breathing Technique (similar to Tummo Breathing) and that has helped me so much with my neck pain, as well as the rest of my body. Anytime my body feels weird I start the exercise and with a round or two I start to feel relieved from the pain.
