When all of a sudden you hear two guys you respect and look up to share your own personality disposition and opinion on parties. Man... You don't quite feel like you're out of place in the world as much. Very awesome.
I'm a woman and very introverted, but I'm also an only child, so maybe nurture rather than nature has caused me to not like things like parties. My husband invited people over, one being the bishop of our Diocese, and I played with the kids outside the whole time avoiding people:/ Parties are just so uncomfortable and awkward for me.
I am always chided by my grown adlut children and my relatives for not carrying my cell phone on me . It's true. I leave it behind by choice. I don't like them and I don't need them. It amuses me that my family members become unglued by not carrying a cell phone. What makes them even crazier, when I want to talk to them, I call from my landline. Ha, ha. Wonderful to say NO to needless technology (for me). I'm 70 and my humour is still there! Ha, ha.
I also homeschool and my kids are soooo happy. They don't even WANT phones. Thank goodness my little ones have a natural aversion to the subject matter on the children's shows and Disney. They like board games and just playing imagination games with their stuffed animals and blocks and farm animal toys. My 8 yr old likes to draw (very talented!) and write comic books. My 5 year old can add double digits. We just have as much fun as we can with learning. We do a start a regular learning schedule in the fall just like compulsory school, but our days are shorter. My kids are ahead of their grade level. BUT they don't know what LGBTQ stands for. SHHHH....don't tell anyone. I am also introverted...and a woman. I do not think people stop having fun when I leave a party. I assume they don't notice when I leave a party. I've noticed when I'm at a party, I yawn a lot.
I'm overcome with the desire to take a shotgun and blow my phone into a million pieces. A second, tamer thought is that I should definitely try Kreeft's 24h challenge.
I can't help but ask you - what is your Meyers Briggs personality type, Matt? I was surprised on this video you mentioned you seemed introverted... Did you ever think you were an INFJ? I am an INFJ homeschool mom of many myself. Thanks for your videos!
I hope it's not too personal of a question to post - but I meant the question to be more of a suggestion to know what personality type you might be if you don't already know : )

This was a really great interview. I like the honesty and child-like sanctity of Peter Kreeft. Really makes one wish to emulate his behavior.
