I agree with you full heartedly, but I still take what Jesus said originally in the literal sense. Here’s why: when we die we go to sleep, when we wake, we don’t know how long we’ve slept. So when the thief died on the cross that day with Jesus he immediately woke up at the Rapture. Because again, when we sleep we don’t feel or know how long we’ve slept when we awake. To the thief it would have felt like the same day waking up at the Rapture immediately. I believe that this is truly an example of God’s love. When we die, we immediately wake up at the Rapture, no matter how many years have gone by! 100 years, 500 years, or 2000 years. We’ll wake up immediately at the rapture after we pass away if we are born again.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, appreciate that! Even though I still think the today is there because he said it that day, your view of what happens after death I fully agree with :) So in that case it's indeed still true that from his perspective, it would still have felt as it is was that same day, even though thousands of years would have passed. The first thing God's people see after dying, is Jesus in the clouds. How amazing!! 🙌🙏
What about the version that says Before the Sun has set today you will be with me in paradise. Wish we'd all stop presuming to know the mind of God. This is why there are so many denominations in the church today. We're all fighting to see who's right. I would say none of us do.
Don't be confused by what one translation says ;) You want to look at multiple versions, and maybe even the original language. Then you'll see that there should be no confusion here.
this is a good explanation. either way. whether you arrive in paradise as soon as you die or when Jesus comes again. Its not a salvation-changing discussion. You know when you sleep and wake up, you don't even realize how much time had gone by. So it most likely will feel like Christ came in an instant after you die.
Pastor I thank the Lord Jesus for leading me here, it is a very clear and amazing explanation. May God bless you pastor and your family in Lord Jesus Christ name.
Amen @Kambo Can That's great. A simple, short yet powerful explanation. Feel free to share it with others who might be struggling with this same passage.
In the new testament the Bible say when Steven was being stoned to death, he looked up and seen Jesus standing up on the right side of the throne ready to receive his soul in the 3rd heaven.
@Jethro Jackson Yes sir! As we studied the Bible, we have seen some very precious and important truths, that not everyone has seen yet or maybe even get wrong. So we want to share, that others too may be blessed, since it is by the truth that we are set free (John 8:32).
Thank you, you made us clear God be with you and blessed you n your family. One day we will rejoice in heaven kingdom of God n praise his name. Even here on Earth we must do the same.
Today because of his repentance. But thief said remember me when thou energy thy kingdom. Jesus said kingdom is within you. Could be state of spiritual bliss ( paradise is feeling of mind) heaven is specific place. One taken up to 3 Rd heaven can also be taken up in paradise when seeing n hearing unspeakable things not lawful for man to utter. It's like WOW!
How does this fit with the story of the beggar Lazarus in Luke 16:19-31 that Jesus told us about. It says that he died and was carried by the angels to Abrahams side. It says nothing about sleeping. If so, he would still be sleeping to this day awaiting the return of Christ.
Time... it's like when one who died for 5 minutes and revived, but was shown Heaven and Hell and then returned. Not all things are the same as we think they are. 🤷♂️
It’s interesting how people will leave out so many scriptures that keep these kinds of ideas from fitting so neatly in the box they want to fit it in. Paul in particular contradicts this theory. This idea has only been circulating since the Protestant Reformation in the 16th and 17th century and is a “moralist” concept that “the soul dies with the body”. I wouldn’t be so bold as to contradict Jesus by quoting the Bible to Him, especially with fringe ideas never really widely accepted, but that’s none of my business. It’s the same for “purgatory” and the idea that what Jesus did on the Cross was somehow not enough to quite cleanse our souls of sin, so we have to take another step in the process.
Jorge, remember that Jesus did not speak with comma's. This is an interpretation from the translators. Maybe you can watch the video again and listen carefully to the reasoning laid out, because you probably misunderstood it.
@@thechristianlife Jesus did not speak in English either he spoke in Aramaic. But if I hear His words in that tongue, I wouldn't understand as I do not speak it.
It was not because he was a thief, as some criminal minds would have us believe, that the man was saved, but because he believed. "For by faith we have been saved..."
Now it was the day of Preparation,(A) and the next day was to be a special Sabbath. Because the Jewish leaders did not want the bodies left on the crosses(B) during the Sabbath, they asked Pilate to have the legs broken and the bodies taken down. 32 The soldiers therefore came and broke the legs of the first man who had been crucified with Jesus, and then those of the other.(C) 33 But when they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. John 19 31-33. Jesus died before the thief. Therefore he was saved by faith in the blood of Christ.
Christ stands for the anointing see that anointing is the spirit of the Holy Ghost alot of people do alot of talking but don't want the anointing, Jesus said in the new testament you scorpions and generations of vipers always resisting the Holy Ghost
I have a serious question;can anybody answer? If Jesus told the thief:"Today you will be in heaven with me",if Jesus died and went into the underworld(hades) for 3 days to grab the key of the bottomless pit and resurect himself to life again to bid farewell to certain of his apostles...did the thief wait at heaven's gates during those 3 days ,or did he go into heaven accompanied by angels..yet with Jesus Christ?
Those who teach that we will go to heaven immediately when we die will have difficulty in explaining why Lazarus ( the one Jesus loved) never shared his experience when he was four days beyond the grave before resurrected by Jesus. Not to his sisters Mary and Martha, not to his neighbours immediately after he was alive again or even when his family carried out a party a few days later where Jesus was invited . No record in the Bible of Lazarus happily told the guests attending the party of his wonderful time in heaven along with God the Father and the angels... Also why Jesus did not comfort Mary and Martha by telling them that they should not be sad or complaining of his late coming because Lazarus was already living happily in heaven at that time.. Jesus told his disicples that Lazarus slept and then emphasized that what he meant sleep was dead.. not going to heaven.
Interesting, so why would legitimate Greek grammarians who share your view not translate it like that(net, csb, nasb95, nasb2020, nkjv, kjv etc.). You never made a case why you would change the coma location, you only said “look what if we put it here”, not a very “in depth study” according to the Greek like you said.
True! A better explanation to Justin's answer may be to consider Jesus gave the parable of the "Rich man and Lazarus" where Jesus did say paradise was a realm that existed during Jesus' time because when the Lazarus died he was carried by angels to "Abraham's Bosom" where he was in comfort, and the rich man was in a place of torment!!! So it's clear , at Jesus' time of preaching ministry, that Jesus believed a righteous person goes into Abraham's Bosom to be comforted where the condemned thief on the cross probably went,!!! Now then, Jesus' Spirit was obviously dwelling within Abraham's even during the time he lived on earth with humans!!! When the Father commissioned his Son to leave heaven and give up his equality with God himself in order to become 100% human as we are, we know Jesus was equal to the father in regards to the fact they all three were necessary to be as one person in order to be ONE God!!! There's only one God !!! And our only God who rules heaven and Earth reveals himself as The Father, Jesus the Son, and The Holy Spirit who is the Spirit of both the father and the son. I'm saying that the Holy Spirit is third person to the Trinity, yet he's also God !!! He's God's , and Jesus' Spirit !!! He's the one who represents the final outcome to all the plans the father and son have for our world, and universe.. God desires to please the Spirit through His Will, and the Spirit desires to please God, and Jesus by performing their Will here on earth... So, it only makes sense that, when Jesus left the Trinity for his ministry on earth, that some part of his essence was still present within heaven, and within the father and the Holy Spirit !!!! It's impossible to completely remove all of Jesus from his own Father, and from the very Holy Spirit who exists as the emotional and expressive part of God Himself . That's why I believe Jesus had his essence still present in Abraham's Bosom, and in heaven, during the entire time Jesus was teaching on earth, and during his 3 days inside the center of the earth... Remember, The Lord Jesus made the heavens and the earth before he ever left there to Love us here on earth 😊😊😊!!!
Sorry, but at 1:06--'soul sleep' is unbiblical. The sleep mentions are obvious euphemisms. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. No sleep, no long journey or wait.
Sorry bud, you need to study abit more. You need to read ALL THAT PAUL WROTE ABOUT THE SUBJECT OF RESURRECTION . The thief made a good confession acknowledging Jesus as Lord. And he said Remember me WHEN YOU COME INTO YOUR KINGDOM. Friend, when did King Jesus fully come into His Kingdom.? "THEN THE KING WILL SAY TO THEM On His right: 'Come...inherit the KINGDOM prepared for you from the founding of the world.'" Read Matthew 25:31-46. Blessings
Yes son but KJV says absent from body AND present with Lord. We shall not all sleep but we shall all be changed in twinkling of eye ( given new body when PRESENT with Lord at his return). It is complete when Lord returns not at death.
Kindly share more 🙏🏻 light on the phrase, today you will be with me in paradise, especially for those out there that may be new to Christianity, and also explain in line with the verse you gave an example of saying Jesus; JESUS did not go to the father immediately, where dis Jesus go?
Hey Mutale :) We have a video about what happens when you die, which I believe helps to understand more about what happened at Jesus' death. th-cam.com/video/xXsUwjqOIiM/w-d-xo.html. In short, the Bible says that when you die, you sleep. So Jesus didn't go anywhere when He died. He was in the grave, from which He came out on Sunday morning. And on the cross Jesus told the thief That day (today), that the thief would receive eternal life in heaven. And until Jesus comes again and resurrects all His people, this former thief will be resting in the grave. Hope that helps ;)
What about "Paradise" referring to Abraham's Bossom and those there are the ones that Jesus preached to when he "set the captives" free? I always understood the thief to go with Jesus to Abraham's Bossom since that is where the ancestors of before had gone. They couldn't go to Heaven yet because Jesus hadn't completed the mission and returned to the father just yet. He preached to them, set them free and then they followed him to heaven. Kind of coincides with the fact that the ancestors of those who had gone on before rose from their graves and walked the streets for 40 days when Jesus died on the cross . . . just a thought on how I have viewed the word "Paradise"
Hey Jordan, thank you for sharing and asking this important question. I actually am about to start writing the script for a video on the rich man and Lazarus :) Hopefully that will then more fully answer your questions. Until then I can leave you with this thought, speaking of the ancestors, Peter said, "“Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.... “For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself: ‘The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand..." Acts 2:29, 34. Please pray that God will lead me in making the video as soon as possible :)
Excellent explanation. I've been telling folks this for a while now. The thief, and the rest of the believers excluding, Elijah, Moses and Enoch are in the grave awaiting the resurrection of Jesus. Be blessed sir, watching from the Bahamas.
God took Elijah up in a whirlwind, he buried Moses's body but sent Gabriel to get his body from Satan. Elijah and Moses were at the transfiguration in spirit with Jesus. That proves that their souls are already in heaven.
@@kristianaquillen7931 do you know what a soul is? A soul is a human being nothing more. Moses , Enoch , and Elijah are not some disembodied spirits in heaven they have complete bodies. A glorified resurrected body that’s no longer subject to death.
Deeply confused. Are you saying there is no heaven right now we have to wait until Jesus comes back? So like all good Christians who passed away are just sleeping waiting for heaven?
Thanks for your question Ryan! There is absolutely a heaven right now, Jesus is there preparing a place for us :) But, we don't go there yet until He comes again. All the righteous dead and living will be caught up to meet Him in the air. Until then, you either live still, or sleep peacefully in the grave. Did that clear up your confusion?
@@lawriemcdonald4554 read the Bible. Show yourself approved and hide it in your heart. If you still have trouble join a church or go to bible class. Don’t remain ignorant for the sake of your pride.
"On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord. Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” And with that, he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.” [John 20: 19-23] Very clear and straight forward but it is overlooked by many Christians - one cannot choose quotes from the Bible and overlook others. This is what real confession refers to. Jesus gave the power to forgive sins to his apostles who in turn passed it on the followers by the laying of the hands - every confession really and truly is done to God, the priest acts [in Persona Christi] on behalf of Jesus whom he represents on earth and forgives by the power of God given to him as clearly shown in the text above. Hence this lesson which is very well done is not complete and gives the impression that one does not need to have his sins forgiven in confession before one dies; if that person dies with an unrepentant heart and unconfessed mortal sin without having any (knowledgeable) intention of wanting to confess, is lost - So this is a matter of life or death (forever). See also [Matthew 16: 19] "... I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” These two pages form part of the Holy Bible and cannot be so bluntly overlooked. May God help you find and understand the fullness of truth and teach it accordingly.
I believe he was referring to his spirit. When Jesus died it says his spirit left him. Where did it go? The body was still there . When the thief died his spirit left him as well. I believe the body will be resurrected later. But when we die our spirit immediately goes to heaven or paradise. I believe the theif went to paradise that moment he died . Also elsewhere in scripture it says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I don’t agree with the comma theory. Thank you
Yes, the thief on the cross went to Heaven. The Bible says today you will be with me in paradise. The Thief on the cross went to Heaven for sure. Whether it was that day or another day, he went to Heaven. The bottom line yes he went to Heaven.
The thief will for sure be in heaven one day. At the time that the Bible teaches that will happen: "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day." John 6:44
@Kurt Wagner I know it feels like dangerous ground, and it can be a bit sensitive. But we need to reason and test it. Nowhere in the Bible is it said that Bible translators would be under the direct inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The writers were. When you understand that these two are two different things, this topic becomes more clear. This principle is also clear as you look at all the different translations out there. Of some it is really easy to see that they were not moved by the Holy Spirit. Praise God that we can compare Scripture with Scripture, translations with translation, and even look back at the original language! Pray about it ;) Blessings brother!
And I had a dream that jesus came and he said to another person I will take you but he said to me I wont take you I feel like it's the devil that is trying to make me think jesus will not take me so that I will give up on faith and believe
Please enlighten my understanding here! Are you saying that there’s no Heaven right now? So what happens to a person Soul after they have passed on? And please tell me where are all the Apostles at? John 14:3? So if we don’t go to the place that Jesus had already prepared for us, where do we go after this life?
Great questions! Today's video in actually about this very topic!! Perfect timing hey :D we publish it in about 6 hours from now. Make sure to leave a comment there whether it answered your questions. Blessings!
If we moving commas we might as well adjust it to what we think is the right meaning. Sorry I know you a man of God and I respect you . But what if I never saw this video? It means I would have been confused my whole life?
The verse is correct, notice it never says to be absent from the body and to be immediately with the lord. It will seem immediately due to death being like you are asleep. The maker of the video is incorrect in saying Jesus will take us to heaven, no, Jesus comes here to reign and us with him til God comes and becomes all in all.
God has appointed to every man his time. We live in time and also die out of time and wait until our change comes.(ressurection when Jesus returns at the last day) in other words we wait for the time when our body on earth will be reunited with the breath of life (spirit of life)from god in heaven at the time of Our change during the resurrection. when you die out of time and are sleeping in silence with no recollection of time then a thousand years is as one day and one day is as one thousand years. for some who has died in faith it has been over six thousand years but since they are out of time and have no recollection of anything. when they are awakened to enter into their change to them it will be as just one day that they were asleep(dead) therefore those who have fallen asleep in death are not anxiously waiting to be resurrected but rather will be awakened in peace never knowing they were in death for any length of time. That’s why Jesus calls death a sleep because your in a state of complete and total unconsciousness.
Nope, The Lord took up Elijah in a whirlwind. The Lord buried Moses's body and sent Gabriel to Satan to get it. Both Elijah and Moses were at the transfiguration in spirit talking to Jesus. They are already in Heaven and in fact Jesus and Moses and Elijah are well aware of each other and have known each other well before Jesus was born. Edit: God sent Michael the archangel to Satan to go get Moses his body. Jude ch9 says Satan argued over Moses' body and Michael said the Lord rebuke you.
The issue is not a comma. The question is what happens to people when they die. Jesus teaches us that people spirits are seperate from their bodies upon death. If they are in good standing with God , they go to a good place called Abraham's Bossom. The rest suffer torment. Luke 16:19-31. We see similar teaching in exchange 12:5-7, where a person's Spirit returns to God upon death. After the resurrection also, the teaching has remained that believers go to be with Jesus upon death (Phil 1:23) . In fact 1 Thessalonians 5:10, teaches us that Jesus died so that we would be with Him whether we are awake or asleep. Since, it's clear that the Spirit leaves the body upon deaths nd sent to God or is tormented in separation. It's obvious that the third in the cross would either enter Paradise with Jesus or be condemned to Hell as soon as he died. Since Jesus promised him paradise, 2e can be assured that the thief actually entered paradise. Also, pls note that paradise is not the same as heaven. Before Christ's resurrection, paradise would be the place described by Jesus as Abraham's Bossom.
The thief on the cross most definitely went to heaven (see Luke 23:46). Every major Bible translation inserts the comma before “today.” Not only that but Jesus prefaced His response with the phrase, “Truly, I say to you,” and this phrase is used 76 times by Jesus. In every one of the 76 times, Christ uses the prefaced phrase and makes a startling statement. It would be strange if Jesus departed from His normal way of making His signature statement by adding “today” to it and in every case where the prefaced phrase is used, Greek scholars the add punctuation break after the prefaced phrase and before the startling statement. The ascension spoken of in John 20:17 is referring to Jesus’ bodily resurrection: Jesus in His physical form.

The Bible is the one and true holy word of God there's no commas in the wrong place you just have to know And understand The Bible... So basically this guy is saying The Bible is wrong .. but however The Bible is not wrong.. From Genesis's to revelation it's all true every word every comma is in the right place...please people do not be deceved..
I respectfully disagree: I believe it to be literal what Yeshua (Jesus) said. I believe that He meant, that when they died that day...the thief would be in paradise (not Heaven...but paradise.) Much like how the poor man when he was in the bosom of Abraham after he died & the rich man was in a place of torment. Paradise (a place...a pleasant waiting place if you will...) like, where Elijah, Moses & Abraham are. I don't believe Yeshua was telling the thief he'd have to wait for a future time to 'actually' be with Him...I'm moved toward a situation similar to Enoch. Peacefully disagreeing😌
No on else is getting in like the thief on the cross, the thief was right there with Jesus christ. In Acts 2:38 Peter said unto them repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
This leaves the problem of why does Christ add the word “today”. In the context of this video the word becomes meaningless. To say “I tell you today,” vs ‘I tell tell” there is no difference or need to add the word today. It becomes redundant. Additionally, scripture teaches “absent from the body is present with the Lord”. Call it want you will, but as soon as the thief was absent from his body, he was present with the Lord.
You’re in danger moving one “jot or tittle” in the Holy Word of God. The thief went to Paradise that day. Paradise was not in heaven at that time. Study to show yourself approved unto God. There was a great gulf fixed between Paradise and Hades. Later on, Jesus led captivity captive. The soul of man never dies or sleeps.
Simply understanding how people talk should answer the question. Using the word "today" as you suggest is kind of pointless...especially while He's suffering - taking upon himself the sins of the world and dying on the cross. Yes. He's telling him the truth today. And it is assumed today because he's saying it to the thief right now...today. I don't believe Jesus wold have wasted words just to tell him he's saying it to him "today". How do you explain Moses and Elijah? They were personally at the transfiguration.
22 The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried, 23 and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side. Luke 16:22-23 There is no need for moving the comma!! This is what Jesus said and check this happened simultaneously i.e. death and movement to their respective places, not decades later but at that moment. Therefore, the thief went with Jesus in paradise on the same day that they died and thats where that thief is today. Lets not edit the bible as the word remains the same and doesnt change.
Yup, the thief is still resting in the grave. Poor man, everybody always refers to him as 'the thief' haha, even though he repented. Anyway, here we have a short video about the 'absent from the body' verse: th-cam.com/video/P5v9E9U_qBI/w-d-xo.html. Luke 23:42-43 King James Version (KJV) 42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. 43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise. Paradise was abraham's bosom Luke 16:22-26 King James Version (KJV) 22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Hes descended to release the old testament saints and others that did good most likely according to conscience which were I hell but separated than god took them to actual paradise which is heaven Ephesians 4:7-12 King James Version (KJV) 7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. 8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. 9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Yeah, people can be quite zealous about this. Especially because the error comes from the comma, and many people then think that you say that the Bible is incorrect 😅 Even though it's not the Bible that is incorrect, but the beliefs of the time wrongly influenced the person translating it and deciding he would put a comma there.
No this video is incorrect. Let me humble explain. The thief did go with Jesus to paradise when he died. Read Luke 16:19-31. Before Christ death and resurrection all the dead went to a place called hades (place for all souls). However, the righteous went to the same place but to a section called paradise aka Abraham’s bosom. The Bible teaches us that Christ went to hades and gathered all the righteous (Old Testament Saints).who were captive in hades Acts 2:31. The unrighteous still remain to this day in hades. For more clarification see also Ephesians 4:7-10. After Christ’s resurrection all who has faith in Christ are automatically with The Lord Jesus. 2 Corinthians 5:8 (KJV) We are confident, [I say], and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. Hope this brief explanation helps.
So when you die where does your spirit go then you're basically saying it stays in your rotten corpse until you're resurrected well i don't believe that I believe we go to the spirit world until the second coming then we'll be resurrected
not actually i think. Before the end of the world. paradise means heaven, after the end, paradise means brand new world. at that time jesus means to heaven, u said that situation is about after the end
You nailed it!!! 👏🏽👍🏽

Pastor I thank the Lord Jesus for leading me here, it is a very clear and amazing explanation. May God bless you pastor and your family in Lord Jesus Christ name.
I love my life but I can hardly wait to see and be with the Lord my father ☺️
Same here brother!
Wow. TODAY, my mind was blown. I'm sure to use this again... thank you
Amen @Kambo Can That's great. A simple, short yet powerful explanation. Feel free to share it with others who might be struggling with this same passage.
In the new testament the Bible say when Steven was being stoned to death, he looked up and seen Jesus standing up on the right side of the throne ready to receive his soul in the 3rd heaven.
Matthew 7:15 says beware of false prophets which come in sheep clothing but inwardly are reveling wolf's.
Thank you Jesus, There are still people who help other people with the 100% truth of the bible
You got a SUB for That!

You guys do allot of research. Thank you and well done!
@Jethro Jackson Yes sir! As we studied the Bible, we have seen some very precious and important truths, that not everyone has seen yet or maybe even get wrong. So we want to share, that others too may be blessed, since it is by the truth that we are set free (John 8:32).
Wow..I had not watched this video yet.Wow..this is something that had me thinking for so long..gonna check this out now.
@Joseph Watchman Kaliher Hope that the video helped you to make sense of it :)
It did help me..thanks alot.
Thank you, you made us clear God be with you and blessed you n your family. One day we will rejoice in heaven kingdom of God n praise his name. Even here on Earth we must do the same.
We thank God that the video has been a blessing to you. Yes, e are looking forward to that too!
Yes brother Jesus came for sinners and he forgive our sin which what we have done . No body's forgive our sin only Jesus forgive.
I have a better understanding now thank you for this
How does this fit with the story of the beggar Lazarus in Luke 16:19-31 that Jesus told us about.
Amen! God loves us.. remember us lord when you come for the second time
Great explanation my man! Definitely cleared it up a bit. God bless.
God bless you 🙏 Great Explanation 👍
Thank you! That's what I have been telling people.
Awesome! Hopefully this video can help you as well to share this with them :)
Bless you...Today! 😉😁👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼🤝🏼🙏
If Jesus said to him, he'd be in Heaven with him, that is the way it is. Jesus did not tell lies. "I am the way, thruth and life" Jesus said.
YES YES I WANNA BE WITH HIM 💞💕❤️

@Joseph Watchman Kaliher I hope that after this video you have found an answer to your question.
@Tipparat Duangin eyeroll
Hades means the grave my guy
Bro what comic version of the Bible you reading
Maybe also..., paradise is when our beings are no longer in body
Spot on and so true! I hope many people will read this comment and have their eyes opened :)
Paradise leads to heaven so yes he went to heaven.
Thank you. Theif went to heaven
"THEN THE KING WILL SAY TO THEM On His right:
'Come...inherit the KINGDOM prepared for you from the founding of the world.'" Read Matthew 25:31-46.
Blessings
Yes son but KJV says absent from body AND present with Lord. We shall not all sleep but we shall all be changed in twinkling of eye ( given new body when PRESENT with Lord at his return). It is complete when Lord returns not at death.
Brother you answered my confusion thank you so much
Happy to hear that Ricardo! But I'm gonna need to pass along the credit to our common teacher, the Holy Spirit 😉🙌

Facts
It feels good to hear the truth being spoken. Yahweh's blessings on you brother.

Excellent explanation. I've been telling folks this for a while now. The thief, and the rest of the believers excluding, Elijah, Moses and Enoch are in the grave awaiting the resurrection of Jesus. Be blessed sir, watching from the Bahamas.

@@themaestrospeaks5866 Elijah Moses and Enoch are In Heaven Along with the 24 elders
@@thechristianlife hi there, scripture says there are souls praying for us in heaven. I wouldn’t agree that everyone is asleep in the grave 😁
@@lawriemcdonald4554 read the Bible. Show yourself approved and hide it in your heart. If you still have trouble join a church or go to bible class. Don’t remain ignorant for the sake of your pride.
@@Biyou22 the bible clearly tells us there are souls praying for us right now.
The Bible also says “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.” 2 Corinthian 5:8
If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.” [John 20: 19-23]
Very clear and straight forward but it is overlooked by many Christians - one cannot choose quotes from the Bible and overlook others.
I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
These two pages form part of the Holy Bible and cannot be so bluntly overlooked.
May God help you find and understand the fullness of truth and teach it accordingly.
What foolishness you have been filled with.

Yes I do but there is something in my head saying that jesus will not take me
Ty for a beautiful message
There are no errors in God’s Word

I agree
Not a bible student so just a curious question. Is there a difference between heaven and paradise?
Thanks for asking ;) They are the same. Both the same place where we want to be
How does the idea of “soul sleep” of the thief on the cross jive with 2 Corinthians 5:8?
The verse is correct, notice it never says to be absent from the body and to be immediately with the lord. It will seem immediately due to death being like you are asleep. The maker of the video is incorrect in saying Jesus will take us to heaven, no, Jesus comes here to reign and us with him til God comes and becomes all in all.
Good question! Got a video on that verse, th-cam.com/video/P5v9E9U_qBI/w-d-xo.html
God has appointed to every man
his time. We live in time and also die out
of time and wait until our change comes.(ressurection when Jesus returns at the last day)
in other words we wait for the time
when our body on earth will be reunited
with the breath of life (spirit of life)from god in heaven at the time of Our change during the resurrection. when you die out of time and are sleeping in silence with no recollection of time
then a thousand years is as one day and
one day is as one thousand years. for
some who has died in faith it has been
over six thousand years but since they
are out of time and have no recollection
of anything. when they are awakened to
enter into their change to them it will
be as just one day that they were asleep(dead)
therefore those who have fallen asleep
in death are not anxiously waiting to be
resurrected but rather will be awakened
in peace never knowing they were in
death for any length of time.
Is it the Jesus Christ picture at home true Jesus which we see in Bible ?? Or we should have faith in Jesus which we didn't have pic of it?

I believe that He meant, that when they died that day...the thief would be in paradise (not Heaven...but paradise.)
Much like how the poor man when he was in the bosom of Abraham after he died & the rich man was in a place of torment.
Yes
Is it good to put status(WhatsApp) of other gods as to celebrate with them ???
This leaves the problem of why does Christ add the word “today”. In the context of this video the word becomes meaningless. To say “I tell you today,” vs ‘I tell tell” there is no difference or need to add the word today. It becomes redundant. Additionally, scripture teaches “absent from the body is present with the Lord”. Call it want you will, but as soon as the thief was absent from his body, he was present with the Lord.
Only three people are in Heaven. Jesus, Moses and Elijah.
Many others are in heaven
What happened to the other thief?
The Bible doesn't really say anything about him more, so I don't think we can say much about that ;)
22 The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried, 23 and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side. Luke 16:22-23
There is no need for moving the comma!!
I'm confused. So the thief rested until the second coming? Idk what about absent from the body present with the Lord?? Idk??
Yup, the thief is still resting in the grave. Poor man, everybody always refers to him as 'the thief' haha, even though he repented. Ephesians 4:7-12 King James Version (KJV)
7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

Amen 🙌 well said,I was crucified for explaining that the thief did not immediately went with Jesus
