If you look at the objective data and numbers inflation was roughly 1% when Trump left office and gas was $2.40/gallon. For the most part peace in the middle east, interest rates lower, muder rate lower, housing prices lower and the border was the most secure in decades. My taxes are worse off thanks to Trump, Not having $24k in deductions really hurt. I can’t write off anything anymore my kids are grown, consequently we pay back double what we paid before. Bet Trump’s rich friends are better off.
My RIF has increased about 12% in the past 3 years and that is with a low risk stock portfolio. I imagine that people with an appetite for more risk have done better. Groceries in my area have gone up about 30% across the board over 4 years, while gas prices have fallen enough that I can drive places without considering the cost. All in all I am just slightly better off than 4 years ago but then again, I'm not one of those brainless nitwits who do not understand the cyclical nature of the economy and that the US president can only do so much to relieve domestic prices during a worldwide inflationary cycle.

If you look at the objective data and numbers inflation was roughly 1% when Trump left office and gas was $2.40/gallon. For the most part peace in the middle east, interest rates lower, muder rate lower, housing prices lower and the border was the most secure in decades. My RIF has increased about 12% in the past 3 years and that is with a low risk stock portfolio. I imagine that people with an appetite for more risk have done better. Groceries in my area have gone up about 30% across the board over 4 years, while gas prices have fallen enough that I can drive places without considering the cost.
All in all I am just slightly better off than 4 years ago but then again, I'm not one of those brainless nitwits who do not understand the cyclical nature of the economy and that the US president can only do so much to relieve domestic prices during a worldwide inflationary cycle.
