this was one of the smoothest explanations of math, clap clap
NO WAYY SOMEONE WHO LIKES OMORI IN THE COMMENTS OF A VIDEO ABT MATHS!! THIS IS SO COOL INLOVE OMORI
you taught me more in 15 minutes than my maths teacher did in 15 hours 😂
thanks man
lol, theres no way someone spent 15 HOURS on something that can be done in 15 minutes... an hour or 2 at most
@@JustNeutral bruv it was a joke and an exaggeration we prolly spent like 5 lessons on surds in total
May I just say you're honestly the best math teacher I have ever had. You're explanations make it so easy to comprehend . Thank you for your time and work.❤🎉😊
I have my final non-calc gcse exam today. This channel has genuinely helped so much this year. I was failing my sciences and maths before 2021. I had more mocks a few months ago: purely due to how helpful this channel is, i've improved by as much as 4 grades higher in chemistry. Originally getting a 4, then in my most recent mocks, getting almost a 9. Thank you :)
Wow Lucie that's amazing, you've improved so much!! we hope your exams go well today, so glad we could help 😊
I'm in matric a few days before mock exams, this is filling holes in my knowledge from the past and making maths so much more enjoyable, Thank you!
This is amazing,I’ve checked out lots of your videos and they have helped me out A LOT! I did not know how to do this for 3 years but in 7 minutes u have teached me how and I can’t believe I’m saying this but maths is getting more fun :)
Ah that's great news, we're glad that the maths is getting easier and that you're enjoying it most of all 🤩
You are a great teacher. Mind making a video on all additional maths topics?
I'm struggling a bit
Excellent communication - delivery, simplicity and excellent slides. I may get that GCSE after all!
best maths video I've ever seen I understood this so quickly and I'm not even doing gcse yet, the explanation was amazing everything made sense
Cognito the way you've helped me revise today for my test tomorrow is amazing and I hope I do well TYYY SO MUCH I've learned a lot from your videos I hope your channel continues to grow

@@avabownes3832 thank you 😊 also I wish the best of luck in your tests!
Very helpful
You are the perfect tutor big ups
thanks guys keep it up. this series is making everything very easy.
Just a small tip, the (root 5 + 2)^2 could be expanded more easily using the formula (a+b)^2 = a^2 + 2ab + b^2
Simple and anyway👌
yo come on man yall need to drop this guy some likes bro cause these explanations be making me pass
When I graduated, imma make sure to give him a shout out
this was so amazing thank you so so much for ur help mann
Brilliant
👍👍👍
good vid
this video was everything
Sir i have a question! In the first bunch of that is √125-2√45 one , in simplifying √125 why can't we take √100×√25 ?
how did you simplify 5 root 5 - 6 root 5 + 9 + 4 root 5 ?
Bro you saved me
Brother in root 5 plus 2 whole square can we use a plus b whole square formulae
Thanks a lot
Good
when you find 2 factors of a surd, does one of the factors have to be a sqaure number?
But wouldn’t the 2/5 and 2/5 cancel eachother out in the (/5 + 2) power 2 one
you know its serious when Cognito makes a video more than 6 minutes long
❤❤❤
how you got 4root3 from root48 is what’s confusing me
Clearly explained. Is this on the foundation or higher paper?
Cognito thanks- I’ve just seen where you put that in the description. It just seems quite hard for foundation level - maybe it’s a step 5 thing?
higher when u get to rationalising denominators, the 2nd last and last question was like grade 8
Best please make more videos why did you quit making videos
Did anyone get 3+7-/12
In that last example, where he simplified the square root of 48 as 4√3 why was it then not broken down again to read 2√3 (as the square root of 4 is 2). I’m confused..
what two numbers multiply to give you 75? (it's better to use square numbers ) so 3 * 25 = 75. so, √3 * √25 = 5√3. now there is a 2 outside the 75 right? so all we do is multiply the 2 with the simplified surd! so 2 * 5√3 which gives us 10√3 . hope you understood!
What about when we are using other factors, like 4×12, then the square root of 4 is 2, then it's 2√12, right? How is it solved in that case?
Best video, just a question. In the last example why is 2 root 75 simplified as 10 root 3? I got 2 root 25 x 3 which totaled 7 root 3 due to root 25 being 5? I'm lost
what two numbers multiply to give you 75? (it's better to use square numbers ) so 3 * 25 = 75. so, √3 * √25 = 5√3. now there is a 2 outside the 75 right? so all we do is multiply the 2 with the simplified surd! so 2 * 5√3 which gives us 10√3 . hope you understood!
@@niktambar5324 thanks i thought i was supposed to add the two, had the same issue.
