- Hello everyone! In this ASMR video, we open 540 Magic The Gathering Theros Cards together---I got 9 shiny foil cards! There is soft speaking, whispering, card sounds and crinkling. This is my first time with MTG cards. SO MANY people requested them after I published my Yugioh cards video that I went and bought two boxes of MTG (72 booster packs and 1080 cards total) specifically to unbox on this channel. If you guys really like this, please let me know, and I will purchase more (thank you Patreon). The boxes are very expensive, so I won't continue to buy them unless you find these vids to be enjoyable and triggering---your feedback is very important in letting me know what kinds of videos to make in the future---please don't hesitate to let me know what works for you! OH MY GOD, I subbed just because when she was tapping the five circles on the back of the first card, on the fifth one I was like "Oh geez, that last tap was weak.", AND THEN SHE TAPPED IT WITH EFFORT AGAIN AND MY OCD WAS LIKE "OH MY GOD SUBSCRIBE TO HER." So ya.
as a big tcg player these card videos are amazing. I can rewatch them over and over and fall asleep everytime. Thanks for the great content

I find the announcer voice so magical. I'd like a video exploiting it to the fullest potential -- maybe as a space transporter stewardess announcing arrivals at different planet stations.

If you ever do another one of these I would recommend reading the italics bits near the bottom of the cards cause I used to spend HOURS just reading the same kinds of things on Pokemon cards

I hope you read this heather. when you navigate from one card to the other let the boarder of the currernt card scratch the surface of the next upcoming card. they make a very relaxing sound when you do that. like if you agree, she might notice it.

I don't even play Magic the gathering but still found this very entertaining and interested in learning how to play. Great video as always =]
Just a heads up. MAgic doesn't have 'traditional' holographics (other than promos and stuff. UNLESS they changed that lol) On the right side of the card, there is the set symbol.
Black = common
Silver = Uncommon
Gold = Rare
You will notice, your first 'holo' was a common. Keep your rares separate too... and i'm not through the whole vid... but i am hoping you get a holo rare ^_^ Magic originally had NO holos. seems they kind of did a pokemon thing now, by making random cards holo.
Weston Konik you forgot about: gold/red = Mythic
I honestly never knew of those.... I started back in ice age, and was on and off before the set those came out in (Alara?).
Next box, spend more time on the rares/mythic rares?! =) Also.. i would LOVE to see you open a pokemon box
Weston Konik im not sure what set they released them in, but there supposed to be the top tier cards with OP abilities, and of course they usually cost a lot.
Weston Konik they now have random foils, and special types of lands that are very rare and cool looking

nylea, god of the hunt 3.75
theros is not a standard set anymore (sets rotate out every 18 months i believe) so these cards are used for other formats of the game. that means unless it has a good use in a modern deck, then most of the cards arent really worth much. the above ones are the only ones in there that are over 2 dollars. over all, it was a pretty bad box, if yuo had gotten a thoughtseize (20$) of any of the planeswalkers (4-5$) that would have been cool. if you were to do thse in the future i would go for a standard set (easy to google what's most recent at the time). some cards can be worth upwards of 50-60 dollars if they are playable and so you could possibly make your money back from the deck and still have a nice video since you don't play. just my thoughts since i like these videos (i watch the vids from people who play it, and it's never so soft spoken or relaxing lol)
