Gintama is one of the few shows where the anime is just so much better due to voice acting and music.
I believe sorachi deliberately wrote a lot of the scenes with voice acting in mind.

The Gintama anime was aired in Japan so there's no need for Nintendo to sue them. It's a reference, fun facts and a permission from the anime.
Instead they sued: Palworld.
