We went into a whole army of titans singlehandedly, while the scouts retreated along with the other regiments, and we would have walked out alive if we had gas, gas and blades. That's how badass the game protagonist is, we only died because we ran out of blades.

We didn’t die though. End of the credits it shows us crawling or walking up to our cape.
