8:25 the coordinate value of (3,5) will be 1 not 2. Because the distance from (3,3) 0 to 1 (3,4) is 1 and the distance from (3,4) to (3,5) will be 1. So max (1,1) will be 1.
Thnak you for sharing

in the chess board example at 8:39, the points selected have coordinates (3,5) and (2,5) . if you compute distance between these two points via Chess Board it will be max{|3-2|, |5-5|} = 1, therefore the distance between the pixel(3,5) and (2,5) is 1. Hence the pixel value at coordinate(2,5) should be 2+1 = 3. Can you explain it
Thanks
Formula is max of x-s or y-t
So 2>1 so keeping 2 in(2,5).
Adding one is for city block not the chess board one
Thank You sir 👍🏻❤️❤️❤️

feels like i am sitting in a pravachan
distance should be same between pixels irrespective of methods but yy u got in chess board method different distance and you are saying that is pixel value how is it possible

What is the answer for this question sir?
Consider a 2000x2000 image I, where all pixels in the left half (first 1000 columns) are white and those in the right half (last 1000 columns) are black. A new image (Inew) of the same size is formed from I by shuffling the pixel locations. Let D denotes the Euclidean distance between I and Inew. What is the total number of possible Inew images? What is the average of D across all these possible Inew images?
