Nintendo you beautiful bastards, no one else cares but DAMN am i pumped about this one, this series is oh so very special to me.
It's RARE that i cry to a Direct.

Endless Ocean was an incredible experience for me as a kid, my jaw was on the ground when i saw the diver
Would say "same" but I don't have a jaw to drop.
Comes with the not having a face part.
Regardless SURREAL experience, I'm so excited for it.
This game was so special for me because I played the first game with my mom, it brings me great memories and my reaction was emotional as well lol.
I'm so happy that others had the same experience with their families.
I'm guessing it's probably because it was essentially a launch title, and I would say that no console has ever been more family centered than the Wii.
I hope to see you out there in the Ocean when this comes out my friend 🐬🫡

We are so back us endless ocean fans.
VERY glad to see others as excited as I am, 14 years since the last one.
I never played these games, didn't even know it was a thing.
But it's so refreshing to see a TH-camr that actually cares about it, specially when it's the big Direct reveal.
No other TH-camrs seemed to care.
Yeah, it saddens me a bit no other TH-camrs cared.
But hey, it has a real big fan base, y'all can just come play with me when the time comes 😋.
Congrats dude; it might not be the most popular game announced, but it's still nice to see someone so excited for it.❤

Many others see the true brightness within this young Scuba 🤿 but I will be here to support it to great lengths.

Dude congrats I'm really happy for you. I know it's a weird feeling when something like that hits you but you're lucky you get to experience it. The new game looks great if you can you should ask your dad to play with you
I'll try to get him to play but it's been difficult to, when we played he was still a med student and/or had just started his residency so in time it just became very hard to bond over gaming.
I think it's been maybe 12 years or more since the last time we got to play something together, except for Uncharted 4 when it came out 8 years ago and it was brief.

The first two games did have online play, but it was only with one other person at a time, and progress made by the visiting player "didn't count". So them shooting for the moon with a whole thirty people simultaneously is undeniably cool! I can't wait to see how Luminous turns out!

Funny thing is I never used the online features on either the GameCube or the Wii, took until Wii U for me to use em.
I was thrilled to see your reaction, even though I had seen the trailer before. It brings back a lot of nostalgia and good memories for me too. It's great news after 15 years since the second installment came out. ¡¡¡¡I can't wait to get my hands on it!!!!

I feel like the reason my reaction has gotten the effect that it has is cuz practically no reactors were really hyped about the announcement, which sucks as there's clearly a large amount of people myself included that really love this game.
I also cannot wait, counting the days to release, you already know I have it on preorder, and I WILL cover it on my channels.
15 years! a week later after announcement and i am still in tears for alot of endless ocean fans this is very special

I'm kinda glad the Pokémon Presents didn't have much cuz my heart wouldn't have been able to take it.
This is the second time I've cried with a Direct, the first being the Legends Arceus reveal.
Kinda sad I couldn't record that one, if this was a cry the other was a flood.

I understand how most everyone is feeling. I didn't play these games in my childhood since they came out when I was well into my thirties, but these are still two of my favorite games. I no longer have a Wii so it's been years since I've able to play but when I got the switch a couple years ago and so that had the backwards compatibility I kept checking to see if an Endless Ocean would appear, but my heart was always "broken." Today for the first in a long while I want on to the Nintendo Site. I decided to check the coming soon with little expectation as to what I would fine. At first, I thought my eyes were deceiving that I had to take a second look. Once I was able to convince myself that was not dreaming, I yelled and like most everyone else I had tears coming out. Then I did the next logical I pre-ordered the product. So, I who is now in her earlier 50's will be playing this wonderful third installment of Endless Oceans when it releases on May 2, 2024
I'm really glad to see that not only is this franchise loved by people to the point of hoping and waiting, but that gaming is still a part of life in my dad's generation.
He's already committed to playing it, and you bet we already pre-ordered it as well.
I hope it's everything you wanted and more, I'm currently replaying them so it's gonna be a tasty 2 month wait 😋

endless ocean was easily one of my favorite games as a kid.
I wished I could say the same, but it is one that is extremely important to me.
And I need to replay it as soon as possible to get back whatever isn't nostalgia and sentimentalism.
Cuz I Know I heavily enjoyed it.

Welp, now I've got a reason to hurry up and play Endless Ocean 2.
Yeahhh, up until this Direct I had no idea that Blue World was a thing, and everyone keeps saying it's somehow better than the original so I'm very looking forward to that.
@@Flipdew You're in for a treat. Blue World basically takes everything that worked in EO1 and improves it, streamlines the more annoying aspects, and boosts the "game-ness" of it. It's absolutely possible to just swim around and chill like it was before, but you're actively rewarded for doing so more often.
Now, ALL THAT SAID... If/when you play it, I would recommend only spending money when you feel you absolutely have to (EO2 introduces money and a store to spend it), because it pulls a pretty nasty trick at the very end of the story. My one complaint about an otherwise gorgeous game and that rare sequel which otherwise surpasses its origin in every way.

I definitely don't remember money or many annoying aspects, I did check out some reviews of the og and saw that the out of water experience wasn't the best.
So I hope that Blue World fixes that.
It's been almost 2 decades so I don't exactly remember all, I'll definitely check em out again.
I'll have to make some sort of review on what the new one improves from the originals.

@@rheapunzel3 From what I can tell it seems they are going way deeper, and giving mythical and extinct creatures.
I would not be surprised if we get to see the mythology show in front of our eyes.
I really want to see the Sleeper wake up, have a massively gigantic creature.
I know it's a chill game, but if I know anything about reality, is that terrifying and dangerous things being seen from a safe distance can be pretty beautiful.

this was one of myfav games on the WII and I'll play it nonstop. I don't have a switch but I might buy one (when I can) just for this game.
Same, I just played through the 3 games recently.
I'm working on a review for Luminous, but life's gotten in the way.
That being said, do not listen to the reviews, as long as there's a player base and really streamers playing it. You'll have a good time.
@@Flipdew I had I believe the first and second one I’m not completely sure but I’ll stay hours glued to the tv playing them. So glad they decided to make a new one for the switch
I don't know anything about Endless Ocean... so... I'm assuming that this is what inspired Abzu? 🤷♂️
Aside from seeing it's a diving game idk much about Abzû, but I'm guessing maybe it was.
That being said Subnautica is closer to Endless Ocean so maybe that was also inspired by it?😂
I own both but never played either so maybe I'll give both a play.

I've really been meaning to cultivate a fan base for One Piece in my community.
My current discord/twitch community never really cared for it but supported it the best they could, hoping to get more people that can enjoy it.
My content always changes, its part of my thing, but I'm thinking One Piece and Nintendo will always be there on the regular.

And if I'm not wrong, KH4 hasn't been announced for switch.

But no, the game is not supposed to be action oriented.
The Endless Ocean IP is a calm one, about exploring and documenting the ocean and it's wildlife.
TH-cam creators didn't care cuz it's not the usual, but it was big in a lot of places.
I personally like these games cuz as a Thalassophobe I enjoy being able to explore the ocean and the horrifying stuff it comes with, without a sense of danger.
Really sounds a lot like Subnautarica, one of my favorite games, so I'll definitely play It.
To my understanding Subnautica is based on Endless Ocean.
Of course it's the exact opposite as Subnautica is about expanding Thalassophobia while Endless Ocean is about suppressing it.
But it seems you'll have a fun time, specially since we'll be playing online all together.

But it's very relaxing, I'm actually hoping to see some scary dangerous stuff because there is simply something so beautiful about it always watched from safety (explosions, black holes, whatever)

Wat is Endless Ocean? Nice btw
Endless Ocean is a Wii game about exploring the deep ocean and documenting the wild life.
I am terrified of the deep ocean so it gives me the ability to do something ultra beautiful that I would never be able to do.
I fail to see what makes this game any good? Is it like subnautica?
The game is essentially an adventure game closer to Pokémon Snap, it's very pretty and relaxing and you catalog the creatures and locations as you dive deeper.
Some of the creatures aren't real and some are fairly horrific but it's not a game where you're in danger, not everyone will mess with it but it's definitely a different experience from your typical game and one I recommend everyone try out.
So it is close to Subnautica, partly cuz Subnautica is based on it, but Subnautica is meant to expand Thalassophobia (fear of the Ocean) to higher degrees, while this one's supposed to neutralize it.
I see thank you. I really enjoyed subnautica, but It was the whole survival thing and story and I was gobsmacked about how I noticed I was afraid of grandiose scale of things. The ocean is scary and it made me think about this game for a long time.
