Hi Lauren, the video link in the description box doesn't seam to work. I have silk scarf that aren't square, long rectangle. I usually do two turn and a knot, but it's kind of boring. I really like the hanging on both side of the neck suggestion you made here, hut they unfortunately are too long. With the fall coming any other way to style them would be appreciated! Love your channel. x
I am old and old fashioned and feel naked without a necklace. But, I also love scarves and have been trying to learn how to wear them more. Especially since having neck surgery left me with a not so lovely scar across my neck! Can I wear my long necklace with a scarf tied around my neck or is this too much?
Audrey Grant hey beautiful, I know I'm not Lauren but I'm an Australian hairstylist and because of that I'm very interested in fashion. My suggestion would be choose one or the other. If your scarf is going to rest longer than the necklace like you're not tying it or looping it than go for gold wear both but if you'll be looping or tying the scarf the necklace may get lost. Hi Lauren. I put together a style board. The problem is my style doesn't match my body! At 65 and now a plus size with feet that hurt...if I wear boho I look like a hobo!!! Any suggestions?
Susan Fracasso hey beautiful I know I'm not Lauren but I'm an Australian hairstylist and because of that fashion is very important to me. I would suggest wear your boho skirts on your waist with a belt (brown is more bohemian than black) and just a casual tee shirt either tucked in or tucked out. I too am plus size and I find by having things like skirts sit on the waist it flows nicer over the hips and the belt will give you a hourglass shape. Another suggestion is Pinterest - search for plus size bohemian style and then pick what you like. You may like detailing on a top but it's spaghetti straps find a shirt you would be comfortable wearing and add some embellishments to the collar or some lace to the sleeves. And I always believe that if you believe you can rock something you can and you will :) I hope this has helped a little 💖
