The Amiibo functionality is one of the most interesting assists available in Tears of the Kingdom. But what if we based a challenge run solely around it? We won't pick up anything else - we're limiting ourselves to using the gear we get just from the Amiibos, and we will attempt to beat the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

hey the basement I have a video idea. The idea is that one of you is speed running Minecraft while the other is speed running TOTK to see who can beat their game faster, but there would be challenges for the person speed running TOTK and the person speed running Minecraft.

A little known tip for the queen gibdo fight: when her armor is down from any elemental attack, hit her with riju's lightning. This stuns her for a bit (and makes her drop to the floor if she was flying). You can achieve this effect without riju but I don't know how.
a month late but another tip is get 8 or more hearts with alot of food as that got me through
, use bomb fruit for phase 2 gibdo mushroom things
actually even if her armor is up it still knocks her with rijus lightning!!!
Any element will knock her armor of with arrow u only need riju to destroy the hives

Way to get past first room with only amiibo:
Sideload an amiibo item from a seperate save into the main save via some glitch (Idr the name, but it allows you to transfer items from one save to another) and use that item, being able to completely ignore the decayed master sword
This channel is so underrated, it's gonna blow up one day.

That'd be physically impossible. You. Need stamina to get past the first lake drop, as swimming needs stamina and you can't beef the fall damage as you don't have enough health

@@harvestarr4420 Yep. Every time his stamina bar appeared, he would reset to the last save. He had to use some cheesey stuff, and it took a long time, but it is doable.

That was fun. I really got a kick out of the "das jokes". When you mentioned Sidon's special power, I thought you guys were going to say that you CAN get Yunobo with his help, because when he soaks you in his bubble, you a fireproof for a few minutes. Even without the armor, you can complete his mission as long as you get Sidon first. 😉❤

Lol, poor Sidon, no respect XD, but this is a great challenge. I use my Amiibo all the time but limiting what you can pick up seems like a great idea, but I like the work around that you can still fuse things or grab them with ultrahand so you're not entirely stuck, just ups the challenge

Hey, did you know if you wear the devine helm of the element of a sage you have, it will wear the previous sage's helm! Found it out myself. I also have tons of Amibo cards. I got Wind first, Than fire yesterday, I think I discovered it two days ago, but there's no way to be sure. I just loved the boss fights, and once i went in one of those caves with the Rubber armor and it had like 5 horror lens and I had 5 hearts and exactly 2 Rings of stamina. I just swam by and healed when I got hit. Whenever I got hit I had a quarter of a heart. I'd call myself an absolute ledgend. I got all the armor to clear the other storm, only to find out I had to beat gannon first. 😢 I got fire temple to unlock spots, bc I'm a horse lover. I haven't played for years and I still have mastered both the mount and normal controls. I know this is long, so if you Read this far pls like this comment if possible. Love you, ppl!

You can only use the amibos after you get access to runes/Purah pad
I understand why you didn’t go for Yunobo, but you totally could have with Sidon’s water shield. It leaves Link wet for an extended period of time so he’s safe in the volcano. Of course, you have to keep using the power, but I survived the Fire Temple that way.
They also had the vah rudania helm so they could've done the fire temple no problem

Just finished my own Amiibo only run. Great challenge and had to think outside the box several times. Highly recommended for those with a lot of Zelda Amiibo
BTW you can do the Fire Temple with Sidon’s Ability or if you stay wet in general

You should go to the top of the lightning before doing the temple and clip through the wall and get the tear.

Hi, just wanted to say that there is a Zelda game who's coop; it's called Zelda : triforce heroes (I don't remember if it's an official game but it a funny one (and you can play either alone or with 1-2 friends)
For fire Resistance, daruk Amiibo should have rudanias helm which has fire resist

The reson you could not use amibo in the beneath hyrule casle part was due to you not heving the arm. then you must beat the great sky island to unlock it.
I only needed sandelion to get to Ganondorf. I was super unprepared the first go. No sandelion food and no regular food when i got to him. Had to lesve and prepare.

only one level of flame guard tho and making flame guard elixirs would've been a no no

Here's a challenge for you
You must use the amiibos as the main source of drops but you are allowed to pick up other items and Quest gifts and fusion is allowed and yes you can use inventory and required items are also allowed.
But the other items are limited you may only have 100 of the same item if you didn't get the same item from amiibos so another words if amiibo didn't drop the same item that you're picking up with the other items they would only be limited to 100 however the same type of item from a amiibo you can get the max of it for the other items.
Hopefully that is clear enough for you to understand but if not then let me know and I'll try to explain better

actually you can get out of there without the master sword its not required its just there to break the vines as youre weapon but if you zuggle a sword then you can break the vines tho it does take a long time to do so
idea, only lynel run, or another enemy, or only monster drops main storyline allowed obviously, so the run only allows you to kill/use lynel parts or bokoblin parts or something.
It's funny because the first pants you got was boots and less pants.
