You got to remember this song is from the early 60s when you say someone put it on a few years ago that's just when they uploaded it on TH-cam and there were no official music videos back in the 60s because there was no place to play them
Bob Dylan has been around since the 1960's, and is considered one of the greatest songwriters of all time. He is known for poetic like lyrics, and has won several of the highest awards for his songwriting. Among them Pulitzer Prize, Nobel Prize in Literature, several Grammy Awards, Presidential Medal of Freedom, Kennedy Center Honors, and an Academy Award for best song in a movie. Therefore when listening to Bob Dylan it is important to pay attention to the lyrics, to fully appreciate his music. If you do more Bob Dylan reactions, I would recommend some of his songs that have easy to understand lyrics like Blowing in The Wind, or It Ain't Me Babe. Both are beautiful songs and have been very popular. Bob Dylan sold over 145,000,000 million records so he is quite popular and known all over the world. I love Bob Dylan songs and would love to, hear more. I have recently subscribed to your channel and enjoy it.
Would love to hear you react to “Blowing in the Wind” then “It’s Alright, Ma (I’m Only Bleeding).” The first was his breakout hit that began to earn him the title of “voice of a generation.” The second is only 2 years later and is, in my opinion, him at the peak of his power. Really I’d just love to hear the second one but I think the first would be a good prerequisite.
I love Dylan. I’d recommend Hurricane especially for someone’s first few Dylan songs. But that’s an opinion. This song is great as well. Mr. Tambourine Man I’d put high on list.
I decided to send you a Dylan sung song where you will actually like his voice - a cover of a Gordon Lightfoot song: Bob Dylan - Early Mornin' Rain (Official Audio) : th-cam.com/video/1yXgy8Oai84/w-d-xo.html
Yeah , his voice sounds soothing to me . There’s more to a song than just the lyrics and intent , and I’m guessing you didn’t watch the video before dropping a comment :(
I haven't watched the video yet, but just reading the title I'm dumbfounded once again by the popularity and so often seemingly inappropriate use of the word 'soothing' by music video reactors. I can hardly think of anything LESS soothing than Dylan's merciless diss of a friend who's fallen on hard times. Perhaps the word has some special connotation amongst African Americans that I'm not aware of? Anyway, I'll listen to the video later, and see if it makes more sense after that.
@@Iamssreactions Poor guessing. I know this song. I know the spirit it's delivered in. I see your reaction to the individual lines. Or the lack thereof. Soothing? You're maybe reacting to the organ. But you're not hearing the words. I see you took down "Soothing" from your reaction header. Probably because too many people said how incorrect that was. Just that you originally thought this song was "soothing" is proof that you missed it entirely. It's OK, we can be wrong about things, but arguing that you weren't is not a good idea.
This is the most importent song in Rock-music history, this album changed the Beatles and everything else in popular music!

Soothing?! Seriously?!
IKR - WTF is 'soothing' about this song and the uncomfortable moral story it tells?
Yeah, his voice and tone sounds soothing to me . There’s more to a song than lyrics … at least to me :)
doesn’t take away from him vocal abilities , or does it ? Cause that’s what sounds soothing to me
