Ben can u send me the link to get the blue dispenser. We’ve been having trouble in our team with our robot and then only one we can get is the yellow dispenser
hi! I'm not Ben but yes! You can make a compound gear ratio to make things move really fast!! My purple dispenser spinner takes about 4 seconds with my compound gear ratio!
Very nice Ben! At practice last night we were talking about how consistent the flywheel mechanisms are compared to strikers. It's neat to see your take on the design. How is it scoring?
does anybody have any tips for beginners? This is my first year doing VEX,(and my whole schools first time as well) And we had our first Competition today. But we have the basic bot and it doesn’t do to good. lol
perhaps the best tips for beginners, as the ms champions of my state in vrc, is perhaps holecounting. though some people think this is cheating/ defeats the perpose of creativity, i find it with my friends when we started that this is the easiest way to start to learn. go look at some robot online and try to copy them. another advise is to not think about all the things you can do, but to first start with the basic things, like a mech that can unload all of the disc systems. instead of trying to be able to do everything, focus on doing one thing extremely well, and slowly add more functions to ur robot until it can do almost anything in the game. last advice is probably to do more matches. in most games, there will be a meta bot, or the publicly thought "best" bot for the game, which i believe is the robot ben designed here. but look out for them, they will be a beast whenever competing with non-metas.
I really like your videos, but everybody at the competitions steal your exact designs lol
we had this robot before he did lmao
@@laggytatorvr Same, mines still better
Wow i can’t wait to see the exact same robots at states
😂😂😂
For real XD
and kinda similar in Russia and China LMAO
frfr
Lol, fair
Im going to be honest i like these videos and I hate them because litterally everybody at the competition copies these robots 1 for 1
and i hate it
How can u download the manual for this slapshort
?
Hello i just got The pictures and i was thinking where is the drivetrain motor
What are the gear ratios?
How many points have you gotten with this robot

How do you manage to get an accurate flywheel?
How do you know if it’s accurate?
@Ben Lipper How did you make the gear ratio move like that. Is it a compound gear ratio???

@Dark_Shadow_Wolf Yo thanks but I didn't make it to worlds so like 🤷
Awesome! Looks great!

How does it drive so fast like is the velocity increased?!?or is it a ratio?
Its because he set velocity to 200%
Thats a joke btw dont actually do it. He just did a faster gearing like 2:1
