The story is about a man who is a sculpter who hates prostitutes so he makes a statue of what he wanted in a girl he made her and then is in love with the statue and gave it gifts and even gave earrings and rings jewels and there was a festival dedicated to a female god and he asked the god to make her real and saw fire jump three times and went back home and kisses the statue and the statue came to life but in some different versions it says that the statue used to be a woman who actually lived before.
This song for me means or tells a story of a girl who would do everything for the person she loves, and would sacrifice or suffer for him ("salt in her scars")........

I dont know why but this is so depressing to me. Let me explain the song. I think its about a girl lost in depression and a guy comes falls in love and wants to save her. But she won't listen. Finally the guy gives up on her. So sad but also so very romantic. Still love it though.

If you can relate to this song, don't worry. It doesn't last forever. I found this song last year, when I was depressed and suicidal. I could relate to it alot. I come back now to see what my former self said in the comments and I realised how much life can change. I used to be suicidal, and now I am representing the children of Ireland in the ISPCC and have helped change the lives of kids worldwide. Im only 14. Some day, you too will find someone, something to protect. Until then, continue living. Even if its fake and only for others. Stay alive, and don't ever give in to the evil in the world. Or else there will only be evil, and never peace. Become your own hero. Write your own happy fairytale.

I've been going through my old playlists and I remember the words to like over 150 songs really well. I wasn't in a good headspace in middle school, but I am so much better now. If I can do it, you can do it. It'll get better... just push trough, cry, do whatever it takes to keep on going. It'll get better I promise.
