my 2017 BS4 Diesel Nexon sometimes gets me that mileage in specific conditions, otherwise with ac on 25 plus most of the times. :-) though no comparison with bikes.
@suryanshpundir6179 the dohc allows for a 4 valve cylinder, which the himalayan 411 didn't have. It makes intake and exhaust of air much faster, increasing the rpm. The splendor has a 5cm stroke but the himalayan has almost an 8cm stroke

@@Aicut01 that is a blanket statement that isn't true. My interceptor still accelerates in 6th gear. It's about power and final gearing. The final gear on a bike with enough power to keep going which based on the Dyno graph for the 450 it would indeed keep accelerating in 6th.

To those saying 6th gear would help, it really wouldn't. 6th is almost always overdrive( gear ratio less than 1 between the engine and wheel). The acceleration in 6th at a lower RPM is most certainly going to stagnate.

Been in similar situation where i was overtaking the Bus and since it is blind spot multiple people were running and crossing the road.. i crashed into the but managed to brake so that my speed was down to 7-8 kmph no major injury to anyone..
