Fairy Tail is honestly one of the best feel good anime that will make you shed tears for the guild. Zeref being one of the absolute best written villains, he loved life more than anybody but due to his curse is forced to act the opposite of how he truly wants to. Like when he killed Larcade you can see him tremble as he has to do it, he truly loved Larcade as his son but due to his curse was forced to treat him like trash so the curse won’t activate and kill him. During his entire fight with Natsu it was tearing him up inside as the curse will activate and kill everything around him if he doesn’t act cruel towards everyone. Hiro Mashima is an absolute 🐐 having created such a beautiful world filled with characters that show that they are imperfect and work together as a team to overcome their trauma.
