Body off frame restored. It was awarded with a 1st place at the F-100 Nationals in 2013. Then it was awarded a 1st place at the Grand Nationals in 2017. Same owner since 1991, 32 years!
EXTERIOR: Original Henry Ford steel body and fenders. No rust or damage, it is straight. The black paint has a mirror reflection. Optional chrome bumpers were redone. Optional step plates on the running boards. All new glass. All new weatherstrips and seals. The rims are painted, hubcaps look new. Fat white wall radial tires look new too.
INTERIOR: The red and white looks fantastic against the black. It is completely restored. Correct insulated rubber mat on the floor. The seat is rebuilt and upholstered. Door panels are upholstered to match the seat. The dash area is all restored. Repainted metal, rebuilt gauges etc. It has an optional am radio. It also has the deluxe headliner kit. The dome light works.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Rebuilt and balanced Flathead V-8 runs as smooth as silk. Restored to factory down too cloth wrapped wired and reproduction hose clamps. All the components look fresh, the engine bay is painted.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Inside the box is pristine metal painted gloss black. Refinished wood floor with stainless hardware.
UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame and completely restored underneath. All the steering and suspension was rebuilt. Shocks were replaced. Brake system was completely restored, e-brake assembly is hooked up. It has a polished stainless steel dual exhaust system with Flowmaster Hush Power mufflers. Bottom of the motor is spotless, starter was rebuilt. The 3-speed transmission was gone through. Clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing was replaced. Rebuilt drive shaft, 3.92 gears in the rear end. The under body is rust free and painted gloss black. The nuts and bolts were replaced throughout.
Something is special about this truck. I guess it comes down to colors and quality that really makes it exceptional above the others.

Wow, what a way to restore a truck, everything looks factory new. I can't imagine the trouble involved and how hard it was to rebuild the interior of this truck. The dash, radio, seats, steering wheel, all look NOS. Even the battery looked 6 volt stock. Only the exhaust looked aftermarket, but nothing wrong with a Flathead breathing through twin glasspacks? If only this Ford was in my garage, a true 1951 time capsule.

Mine was electric blue with Indy mags, otherwise an original truck. In 1974 I bought it from a man in Maryville, TN. for $300. Drove it for a couple of years and traded it for a Subaru.(worst deal ever!), but I regress.

That’s a ‘52 the only difference between a ‘51 and a ‘52 is the spears on the hood the V8 emblems and Ford lettering the ‘51 has a V8 emblem mounted between the front fenders with the Firs letters on the center piece on the hood and the ‘52 has the V8 emblem on the hood with Ford letters mounted between the front fenders the center pieces for the hoods are completely different the spears on the ‘51 has the F1 imprinted on it with imprinted marks the ‘52 spear has the Ford letters I’m printed on them they are smooth with a round badge that has the F1 and marks imprinted on them and that truck is a 5 star deluxe with the extra stainless trim on the hood and around the front windshield
