Make my own spinners, with gold and silver plate blades for more flash. I use pre- bent wire forms and single siwash hooks, which cuts down on jumping fish throwing the lures. You can get torpedo bodies up to 3/4 oz or so, which makes it easier to slow roll the bait and keep it running deeper. I mostly use #4 for browns and steelhead in Wi rivers and harbors, heavier #5’s in the St. Joe, which almost nobody does down there.
Is this all current? Like how long does the fishing stay good? Looking to book a trip soon but wondering if mid December is too late to have a good fishing day
