- How To Get Ahead of 99% of People in Corporate America. I am constantly asked how do you succeed in corporate America. How to succeed in business, in a job and in life I honestly believe comes down to some very basic principles. Job success will not only get you ahead financially, but can bring joy as well. The principles in this video I honestly believe will teach you how to get ahead of 99% of people. Most people are comfortable being critics instead of doers. I give a lot of credit to the course, How to Win Friends and Influence people. The most basic principles can have the most profound impacts. They will help you get promoted at work. Help you gain respect from peers and friends and build a more rewarding life.
Success isn't about your credentials or skillset, that's just enough to get you in the door. Success comes down to your character, and attitude. In this video I'll share with you my biggest take aways from working and climbing the ladder in corporate America. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
I’ve learned that generally if people are giving you feedback, they actually care enough to help you sharpen your skillset. It’s when they stop giving feedback when it’s a problem.
Perfectly put, amen!!! Thanks for taking the time to watch something more random.
Truly great advice. Getting stuff done and solving problems is the best way to build your reputation and value. Outside of that just being a pleasant person to be around goes a long way.
So true, being a pleasant person people don't mind being around would help so many people get out of their own way. Thanks for taking the time to watch!
Great advice!
Glad it was helpful! Appreciate you taking the time to watch it!
Good video J 👍
Appreciate you taking the time to watch!
Excellent points and interesting topic!
Really appreciate you taking the time to watch something different! Appreciate the support!
Great advice. I can’t count the times I ran my mouth and now feel lucky the repercussions weren’t severe. Sometimes luck can go the other way-it can save you when you’re being a sarcastic blimp like I used to be 😂
Sarcastic blimp, that's a new one haha. I get you!
Great advice from a top bloke, many thanks. Changing the subject, black monster, always fancied one of those, had an orange one and flipped it, but black…..umm, you’ve got me thinking now …….oh no, not another unnecessary purchase 😅 keep up the good work 👍
Still have my black Monster and love it!!! Highly recommend the SRP307J1
Another banger!!!!!
Thanks for taking the time to watch Tan!
Well done! Very helpful
Thanks for taking the time to watch something different.
Thank you for the great advice. What advice would you give to an overall academically strong high school student who hasn’t figured out what to study in college. Currently Sophomore with a 4.04 and in the International Baccalaureate track in a public high school.
@@michaelriera6277 hey, I had the same problem when I went to college. It’s okay not to know. If you aren’t looking to do anything specific stay away from niche degrees like history or art etc. and do a general degree that would be useful for more careers like business. You can make it more niche by doing say international business or doing a minor in a language or other topic that speaks to you but have a general focus that would prepare you for most jobs. I would also take some communications classes if you have spare reqs as half of getting ahead is communicating in an effective way with others.
As I recall you had a second channel that discussed topics very similar to this.
*Well 14 hours, I can wait.
@@hellper198 oh wow, you remember that. Thank you for sticking around so long.
Dude, this was so good. But no wrist watch check lol!
Agreed, I messed up on the wrist shot. Thanks for watching something random.
Out of curiosity what industry are you in and at what level?
I'd prefer not to share too much but I'm in Pharma / Medical and I lead a multi team organization of about 40 people.
I'm here for the Rolex explorer ii😍
Noted, great choice
How to get ahead in a corporate business: you don’t. You instead opt for the smarter route: start your own business, invest, and generate multiple streams of income. Being employed is a loser’s game.
Well, that's one way to look at it. I have seen success and failure on both sides of that fence. Totally with you on multiple streams of income!
@@JANTHONYCHANNEL finding success in the corporate world was realistic when you and the generations prior to you were growing up. With my peers and younger, things have changed. Today, finding success in the corporate window has narrowed.
My generation and younger have only found true financial freedom by starting their own businesses, investing, and amassing several income streams. On the other hand, my peers and younger that are white collar professionals with degrees are struggling to make ends meet.
I have a few family members and friends that are millionaires. All of them have one thing in common: they made their millions by being self-employed.
My spouse is self employed. I’ve seen plusses and minuses on both sides but respect what you are saying. Sorry it’s been that difficult for you. I can say at least my company hires fresh grads all the time and I’ve seen a lot of them rise quickly. My advice in this video applies to any job honestly, looking forward to your honest feedback on it!
