If there is one thing in my life I regret is skating by Olivia's house in 1995 and she was singing and playing piano or some other kind of instrument on Camp Foster (Kishaba Housing) and Yelling STOP IT!!!! Then damned if she did not rock the charts in Japan. Now I am a fan and friend of her. I really miss those carefree days of skating with my boys in Okinawa. Jeff and Caroline are awesome friends also. Dragons 4 life y'all.
Nana para mi es el mejor y único anime musical del mundo. Ver ese marketing y todo lo que hicieron fue maravilloso. Es una lástima que no llegará correctamente a un final.
If I'm remembering well, she's half japanese, half american, and she was kind of new with Japanese at this moment. (Still, atm, she's totally fluent with Japanese, and I'm kinda sad that she's not doing any new songs now. :()
@@flaiirenn In that case, being half japanese is also being white, so she's fully white. I simply wasn't talking about her race or ethnicity in that case, simply that's she's from an American father and a Japanese mother, that's all.
As someone with a vaguely similar soprano voice to Olivia who performs with a band, it can be quite hard to sing on top of the heavy rock arrangement and be heard (without a really good sound engineer or conscious band mates) which ends up with the vocalist compromising, though at quite a detriment. It’s a shame! Olivia is one of my favourite artists ever and only when I got into doing this myself it began to make sense to me. Health of course can be another factor.
@@NovaHalo wow I didn’t know this, thanks for the information. No shade to Olivia though, she is indeed a very good singer looking at the other lives I’ve heard.
@@NovaHalo ^^^ this, 100%. as a soprano myself, i can attest to that. we have voices that carry less weight, and so it is difficult to sing on top of such a heavy instrumental. i believe amy lee (lead singer of evanescence) has this same problem. her voice is like olivia's, in the sense it is light and higher toned. it takes good sound engineering to make these kinds of voices be heard amongst the guitar shredding.
I like how reira and Nana are literally their singers like why is nana literally anna tsuchiya aswell

@@kuririn1975 SHE WAS YOUR CLASSMATE??????

WHAT?? SHE WAS YOUR CLASSMATE??
Reira come alive!! Olivia fits perfect in it ❤
💖💖💖 She and Anna really did a great live performance.
懐かしい、、
♡♡♡♡♡ tengo 30 y siempre amaré este anime y a Olivia, la única Reira ♡♡♡♡
La amo, y siempre la amaré.
she's so cool
saudades anime, saudades mangá, voz da Olivia é linda ♡
I love this anime and song
2019 and she sounds like she is going to cry
her live vocals are probably unstable because it's difficult to sing over such a heavy instrumental as a soprano. olivia mostly uses her head voice.

+Celestia Elisia but american is a nationality?
Her father is american and her mother japanese ^^

@@Elysiya wait how does being half japanese and half white make her fully white??
Does anyone else think she sings a bit off?
