Have just completed yet another herringbone bracelet with invisible join as per your tuition. Your instructions are brilliant! I blame you for the ever-growing pile of bracelets! Best wishes Sue from England
I love your Slinky Herringbone Robe necklace. I plan on making one. Your instructions are great and I enjoy your extra tips. Thanks so much for sharing such great information.
Glad to say I loved the video and am almost done with a necklace out of metallic variegated blue iris! So happy to do this. Surprising the size of the chain with these tiny beads. Cannot wait to make a pendant to match!
I love your slinky bracelet, I worked one up right away. Already on the second row I forgot the step up so I thought why not see how it looks with the slight twist ist gives, I was very pleased with the result worked in 3 colors absolutly beautiful.
I love your work and designs. Your video's are so easy to follow. I just finished the slinky herringbone necklace and charcoal and it's so beautiful. Thank you for all your wonderful teachings.
My daughter has just looked at the bracelet I'm making and suggested if you don't want to use the 's' word, Jill that you could call it a dragon scale rope :)
Thank you !! I never used triangles, but bought specialy for this project in color nebula. That bracelet is so... gorgeous!! Finally I ordered more colors for more bracelets and neckleces.
Krásna špirála, pripomína mi hadíka. Chcela som hneď skúsiť, ale nemám TOHO Triangle, ale hodne farieb TOHO Hexagon. Tak som skúsila s nimi a vyzerá to veľmi dobre. Ďakujem za pekný návod...
Just ordered my beads from you for this project. Hope they don't take too long to arrive as I'm so looking forward to making it. Will let you know how I get along. Thank you for such a great tutorial.
Regarding the Galvanized Silver triangles I showed in the Slinky Herringbone Rope video - we have discontinued carrying them, because it turned out they were VERY non-color safe. Within hours of wearing the bracelet, the color was coming off 20% of the triangles.
Jill Wiseman i just bought some from you, you should of made a email telling us this so we would have a chance to determine if we still wanted them. Just saying!
Aha! Now I understand why the herringbone rope from triangle beads that I started yesterday just doesn't look quite right. Yep, I used some soft-edged triangle beads without realizing that they give a different and not-quite-satisfying result. I kept trying to get the beads to lie uniformly, but they just won't behave (grrr). Found your very nice video in my search for answers - thank you! Fortunately, I do have some sharp-edge triangles on hand, so I can make a bracelet in time for my friend's birthday.
I am so excited about this pattern I've started it using turquoise triangles to make a rope for a turquoise pendant that I have my problem is keeping the right tension on the three working sections I know I don't want it to type because then it doesn't look like herringbone. But when I loosen up they just fall apart and fall over each other I can't figure out which is the next bead for me to work through. Any helpful hints on keeping things constant would be greatly appreciated I must have many of these! LOL
Full with advices before start the real stitch. Great one. I wish your warehouse is in England. The coast to mail orders is almost half of the total price iI buy. But you are closer then you think as your TH-cam on 🙂
I am just about to finish my herringbone necklace, seeing you using the triangles made dig through my stash and luckily finding them. I don't like the splashing of the stitch so I came up with this: when stepping up, I move the needle over to the outside (leftmost) bead of the next pair. That connects the beads nicely, however the signature look of the V gets lost. Looks rather like a snake, very sleek.
Is there an earring pattern that uses the triangles? I know I can make a beaded tube bead, but I haven't seen other patterns for using the triangle beads and am hoping that they aren't so limited.
For the slinky rope chain, is there a way to close up the chain without using a clasp? Like to make the chain long enough just to go over your head. Thank you
I made exacly the misstake you recomended not to do in another Video. I went through the bead down and the next up in one go. So the work is a bit loose, Do you think when i go throubh the Beads once agaain, it would be better?
Hi, Jill, I made a lovely necklace using size 11/0 Toho triangle beads. Just wondering whether there's any special issues in making this with Toho size 8/0 triangle beads, before I buy some. Many thanks!
Love this pattern, Jill, and I've made several of these slinky herringbone ropes. Would these triangle beads work up okay in the spiral herringbone rope stitch?
HI Jill, I attended a class of yours at B & B. I made this rope for an embroidered pendant. It iis perfect! My question, with this being an open style weave, what is best way to bury threads along the rope? Thanks! Cherie levy
The "free PDF download" shown in the "i" in the video says, "Error 404 Not Found". Do you still have that? And secondly, I love the photo of the triangle beads shown on that particular photo, but can't find them on your site! What is the name of those color beads (a variegated mix of gold, copper, green)?? Thanks!
The beads on your vedio hk rlook like a steel color and turquoise instead of the copper and turquoise that the ones you are using in your slinky neckace. Can you confirm the color for me?
This is the PERFECT gift for me to make for my sister in law. I think I want to do a necklace... How many grams of the triangles should I order to complete a couple of necklaces?
Looking at your Slinky Herringbone Rope on TH-cam and there are two links for the free PDF tutorial, however, neither has the PDF! Is something missing in the link?
My apologies! Yes, we did move where the free patterns are, and I goofed and didn't update the links when that happened. I'll work on that today. In the meantime, all the free patterns live here now: jillwisemandesigns.com/patterns/
When I click on the Information link, what comes up is the link to downloading the pdf and to purchase the triangles. Can you add the link to the herringbone video you mentioned that is more detailed? Thanks. Bobbie P.
I love the necklace with the tassel attached. Could you please tell me what colors you used for the red version for the tassel. Also what colors would you suggest for the Dragonfly beads for the tassel?
Jill Wiseman Hi, Jill, I made a lovely necklace with Toho 11/0 triangle beads following your very clear instructions. I was wondering whether there are any issues to consider in making one of these necklaces with Toho 8/0 triangles. Many thanks!!
I'll try again and see what happens, I was on my tablet so maybe there's an issue with it...because the i doesn't come up for the link to get the other video probably a user malfunction LOL
Unfortunately we discontinued the silver because it wasn't color fast. I was SO SAD! I just ordered some silver-plated ones today. I'll test them. They'll be pricey, but maybe worth it!
Just had to share. I live in rural Tucson, Az. Aka "snake village"! Lived there 9 months and shot my first one. Cut off the head, skinned it and kept the rattler as my own personal survinor.
I love this herringbone rope--thanks, Jill! I'm not able to make out any close-up detail. I followed the link for the PDF download instructions for this, but on that page it says, "Uh oh, looks like the page you are looking for has moved or no longer exists. Is there anyplace we can still find the PDF?

This is why I only use Miyuki beads.
@@kathleenscreations367 Jill may not have known the color was bad at the time you ordered. Just saying.
kathleen Brant “should’ve” or “should have”. 😜
Thank you for this pattern, finished my first one, love it!
This stitch is perfect for the rope I need to attach a pendant to that I am currently working on. Thank you.
I love this necklace!!🤗💗💜

What's a good project for the soft-edge triangles? I have several tubes of those in my stash!

Would these beads be suitable for your 3 bead herringbone rope?
I'm with you on the 's' word, Jill. Thank you
Very cool project, thanks.
Thank you I always had a problem ending my ropes!
Hi Jill - I love this pattern and bought all kinds of your triangles - I am wondering - what other patterns do you have for these lovely beads?
I just took mine apart. It was to loose & I had a hard time keeping it taught. I used a size 8 fireline. Not sure what went wrong. ....
Hi. Can you guess and tell how many grams of beads are needed to make a long necklace?
Cool! How about showing us a herringbone rope with two-hole tiles??? Have been wondering how to do that.
I love this necklace ! Since you no longer have these beads, do you have a kit with different beads? Or which beads do you recommend using? Thank you😊

Do you think the twisted Herringbone would work with the triangle beads?

Are you ever going to get the cranberry color triangle beads back in stock?
I would like to buy the dragonfly color off of your site but it doesn't say how many grams it is?
Hello, can you tell me how many grams I will need to get to make an 18 inch necklace with a 7 inch bracelet? Thank you so much!!!!
The beads on your vedio hk
rlook like a steel color and turquoise instead of the copper and turquoise that the ones you are using in your slinky neckace. Can you confirm the color for me?
I cannot find the triangle silver beads on your website. Please help !
We don’t carry that color because the finish is not permanent. The silver started coming off as I was working on that sample. 🥲
@@JillWisemanDesignsI would like the beads of that slinky silver bracelet.
Jill, I am searching for your long version of making this rope, but I end up with your short version every time.:-( ??
Are the sharp edged triangle beads close in size to an 8/0 seed bead? Thank you for this video!

When are you going to get more colors of triangles in? I like the cranberry and you haven't had any for a while. :-)
Can you post a direct link to the kits please? I'm unable to find them through the shop links.
No kits on this one since all you need is a tube of Size 11 triangle beads! We've got 89 colors for you to choose from! :-)

awwe. you're the best baby!
Bonjour,
De quelle taille pour les Miyuki triangles N°5 N°8 ou N°10 ?
Merci de votre réponse
Jill, I have a ton of Toho triangles from years ago, but they are labeled 5mm. Is that anywhere close to the 11/0?
Are they soft-edged? They're probably closer to a Size 8. But try them and see how it looks!
I want to do a necklace but with 11/0. Can anyone tell me.how many gems I would need?
Hello
Send you beads to Belgium please ?
