The questioners question should have been audible so the online listeners could hear everything. Sometimes the ustad doesn't repeat the question or answer it,he just approve it by nodding his head. Also the ustad asks many questions during the lecture but we don't hear the answers from the audience.
Abu Darda reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
Verily, the angels lower their wings for the seeker of knowledge. The inhabitants of the heavens and earth, even the fish in the depths of the water, seek forgiveness for the scholar. The virtue of the scholar over the worshiper is like the superiority of the moon over the stars. The scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets. They do not leave behind gold or silver coins, but rather they leave behind knowledge. Whoever has taken hold of it has been given an abundant share.

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Lo! Indeed the world is la'an, except for remembrance of Allah, what is conducive to that, the knowledgeable person and the learning person."

Al-Mustawrid bin Shaddad said:
"I was with the caravan of those who stopped with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) at a dead lamb. The Messenger of Allah ((peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Do you think that this was insignificant to its owners when they threw it away?' They said:'Yes! It is because of its insignificance that they threw it away O Messenger of Allah!' He said: 'The world is more insignificant to Allah than this to its owners.'"

Qa'is bin Abi Hazim said:
I heard Mustawrid, a member of Banu Fihr, saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The world compared to the Hereafter is but like what one of you gets when placing his finger into the sea, so look at what you draw from it."

the Qayraish pagans, like Abu Jhal would say you left th religion of your fore fathers who are better then you?
They would tell people not to do business with Muslims or even abuse others.

People harming him were many but ibn Taymiyyah had the upper hand. He would humble himself and seek help from Allah alot. He had daily thikr routine.

Qadi Abu Yusef asid 200 students went to border with im crying w/o being able to help him.
If this world was perfect then why would you want jannah?

You will be tested by your parents, family etc.
It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud said:
"The first people to declare their Islam publicly were seven: The Messenger of Allah ( & Umm al Muminin Khadijah), Abu Bakr, 'Ammar and his mother Sumayyah, Suhaib, Bilal and Miqdad. With regard to the Messenger of Allah, Allah protected him through his paternal uncle Abu Talib. With regard to Abu Bakr, Allah protected him through his people. As for the rest, the idolators seized them and made them wear coats of chain-mail and exposed them to the intense heat of the sun. There was none of them who did not do what they wanted them to do, except for Bilal. He did not care what happened to him for the sake of Allah, and his people did not care what happened to him. Then they gave him to the children who took him around in the streets of Makkah while he was saying, 'Ahad, Ahad (One, One).'"

They also pulled Belal across the floor to belittle him.
Belal took out his former master ummaya, patience ( & correct study and work) lead to victory.
Narrated Khabbab bin Al-Arat:
We complained to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ peace and blessings be upon him) (of the persecution inflicted on us by the infidels) while he was sitting in the shade of the Ka`ba, leaning over his Burd (i.e. covering sheet). We said to him, "Would you seek help for us? Would you pray to Allah for us?" He said, "Among the nations before you a (believing) man would be put in a ditch that was dug for him, and a saw would be put over his head and he would be put into two pieces; yet that would not make him give up his religion. His body would be combed with iron combs that would remove his flesh from the bones and nerves, yet that would not make him abandon his religion. By Allah, this religion (i.e. Islam) will prevail till a traveler from Sana (in Yemen) to Hadrarmaut will fear none but Allah, or a wolf as regards his sheep, but you (people) are hasty.

ibn Qayyim ties this with Ayat we tested those before you and who is sincere vs. those who are lying would be made clear.

ARH went to Battle of Uhud where sahabas were... and there is hadith Battle of Uhud is a mountain that loves us and we love it and once it moved/shaked, it said on top of you is a Prophet, a Siddique and 2 Martyrs.
Uthman's Uncle Hakim tied Uthman and said did you leave your family's religion, i will not let you go, Uthman was firm and was let go.
Zubayr ibn Awwam was put through alot of punishment
in his tabaqat Musab ibn Umair, was known to be a young healthy person.

Prophet peace and blessings be upon him called him to Islam, he met hmim in Aqabah.
Uthman ibn Talha saw him praying and imprisoned him.
He came back changed.
AbdurRahman ibn Awf once was offerred good food and turned it away and said he thought of Musab, and said we didn't have enough to shroud him.
They took Talhiya or leaving everything for Islam.
Allah looked at te hearts and the best one was the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him, and the next best after the prophets were the sahabas of the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him.
A man asked what is between me and jannah, the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him said the dates you are eating, he through it down and fought to martyrdom...
Rakash ibn Mohsin fought until his sword broke then the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him gave him a branch...
Abu Dawud has a hadith where Prophet peace and blessings be upon him said sit down, and there were sahaba far away that sat down.
Sa'id ibn Zudan, Umar put him to trial before his Islam. He tied him up in Bukhari.

ibn Taymiyya said what do you mean by Jiha? If that He is surrounded by creation then no, but If you mean Allah is above His creation ok.
If you meany by body this no, if you mean Allah Exists, then Yes.
the one who remembers Allah & doesn't remember Allah is like the One living vs dead... ( so how about knowing Allah's attributes)
Saeed ibn Zaiden ibn Amr ibn Muafaylen was told his father will come as an ummah by himself.
