Turns out that they knew who killed the 17year old. Jojo came clean and said that she knows her best friend eric did it… when they go to his house he isnt there but the parents are. Hank takes the dad (even tho woods the police man told him to stop interfering with the 17 year old case). He starts interviewing him and agrees that if he tells him the truth then he wont take his son to jail. As he was interviewing him, they call him out and take him to the board because he didnt listen to his superiors orders.

Turns out that the police (denny woods) was the man’s partner in the crime 17 years ago and covered up for him thats why he wanted Hank to get off the case. And it was true that Eric, jojos best friend, killed the boy even tho he didnt actually want that to happen..

Very illegal, any evdence found proving or linking to an arrest can be inadmissable without getting a proper warrant and going through the painstakingly long channels to get it open. (This is Canadian law, I'm guessing it goes hand in hand from context)

@@hibarikyoya854 it's still illegal, they'd have to go through the parents, to a judge for a warrant, the company who made the phone, and they might still not get it open. Even if they're dead the information is still private and can violate uhhh- I think in America is the Bill of rights?
