Also! You should do the “water test” when you think your starter is ready. Fill a glass with lukewarm water and drop a bit of starter in. If it floats, it’s ready to go. If it sinks, it needs more time.
I know this is late but yes STAR testing is a thing. I’m a teacher and my students have to do it at the beginning of every quarter to retest their reading levels.

Man is beautiful, and smart. The "all consuming" deal is bad, bad bad bad. It's called ANXIETY, something I've suffered from my entire life. I take pills to take the edge off. Sucks. Plus, the "planning" thing is ridiculous in my opinion. Just live. Having goals is one thing, but to plan every day and plan your life out will likely not go that way. The universe is in charge.

Okay, but recording a podcast is nothing like giving a presentation. Giving a presentation is in real time, with no room for error. Usually with many people staring straight at you.
Podcasting is you all alone recording yourself talking, where you get to edit out any mistakes and re-record if you need to. Podcasting isn't as simple as people think it is, but let's not pretend that it's anything like having to give a presentation.
I'd used Q tips all my life despite people telling me not to. And then when i was around 38 I perforated my ear drum and put a whole through it with a Qtip. I don't clean them at all now, apart from using a face washer. Your ears are self-cleaning so I also stopped wearing air pods because it interferes with the process and doesn't allow the wax to drain. I'm an over the head headphone girly now. They're better anyway. I bought air pod pros and lost one so i bought another pair and lost one of them too!!
