      DJ Fastrax wow, glad i found this! I was wasting time doing what the factory said to distill at 55c. Ha, in their dreams. Based on the comments above i let the temp climb to 90c and got a bit. At 95c steady amount. Above 95c i got sputtering steam. Running nice at 94.9c. Thanks guys! I never would have gotten any thing down where stillspirits said to do it.

      Forgot to mention this 94.9c worked at 4000’ elevation. Sealevel likely different.

    @timbosam 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Hey!!! Richard answer the questions, what temperature is the column? do you have to run water thru the column to control it?

    • @gerhardjoubert2108
      @gerhardjoubert2108 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No his not replying at all but I dont believe you can make distilled water as he put it I have try it today water temp from 40 to 95 no drips. If you turn to cooling water down temp go up to and then hotwater start pushing through the temp prope hole. No water dripping

      @@gerhardjoubert2108 have you tried disconnecting the water supply from cooling the column and just running the condenser like a pot still? If I'm understanding it correctly your water vapor could be trapped in the column as reflux,since all the countertop water distillers I've seen listed are air-cooled pot stills.
