+Andrew “GlitchMaster” Balaschak Wanted to see what I was missing when doing this in sound design ^^ (notice how you rarely hear these plucks in my music)
And the best part is when in the beginning we fell kind of lost in front of all those knobs and buttons, we think its soo hard and stuff. And after watch this sweet tutorial, it seems soo easy. Just like Deadmau said in one of his streams, that those crazy plucks are a couple of moves from the initial preset os a sine wave!! How cool is that huh?!! : )
Nice, thanks for this. I used an equivalent deadmau5 pluck video for Massive when I was first learning, and now that I've switched to Serum I wasn't quite able to recreate it on my own.
Yeah it can be difficult sometimes getting your head around a new synth even with a lot of experience! Took me some time to get used to Serum after using Massive for so long.
Good preset ! Maybe, I would have add some compression (to boost the quieter parts of the sound - especially on the delay and reverb tail) and an EQ (to enhanced the higher frequencies when the filter is fully open). But, in the end, it's quite ok because you can always layer this sound with another synth to make it brighter. All that matters is mixing the whole thing properly.
Hey Tom! Awesome tutorial, this really helped a lot. I was wondering if you had any tips on making those chords you play on this preset. I like the way they sound. Thx.
figured out a neat trick: make a sine wave LFO and use it to modulate the filter cutoff. automate the frequency of the LFO for some neat flume style drop leads.
I am a bit confused. I watched you initialize serum to start over and I followed you step by step and my sound sounds nothing like yours, your sort of has that arppeggio but I don't have that. Mine is just a single key press. What am I missing?
Nice! Some really lite glue compression on the mixer channel could be nice too, to make sure the sound stays solidly even, once the filter opens up. Just don’t compress it too much, because you’ll start to clip. 🤢🤮😵😄
alguien que hable español, me puede ayudar , cuando en un tutorial hago lo mismo que indican en el video, ´pero siempre elsonido es diferente no suena comolo hacen en el video, uso fl studio, tiene que ver?
You're like the only TH-camr explaining what they're actually doing. Good job, great stuff
I've been searching for this sound forever. THANK YOU!!!
I love this sound, what do you think?
Feel free to leave some suggestion for what genre's you want me to do tutorials on!

+Vylet Pony Interesting to see you here.

Vylet Pony cool, it'll be interesting to hear a more progressive sound to your music.
+Andrew “GlitchMaster” Balaschak Not sure if plan to try it out much but we'll see >w

Why have you decided to copy Freshly Squeezed Samples design?
The cover art? It's only temporary for the minute, been working with a designer.
I'm a fan of your midi pack by the way, keep up the good work.
