Looks like she's coming right along! This build is really about the journey, isn't it? At this point it feels like you're over halfway there, doesn't it? Looking forward to more!
I am building the same model. Have been posting on the FB Mask Design page some of the aztec work. Looks like your making some good progress and the work looks clean. Well done! In regards to Round2 (Polar Lights) retooling the kit - just don't see it happening. Its very expensive to retool the molds and probably just isn't enough demand at this point to turn a profit. Truth is it is a very poorly engineered model - from the individual rim pieces of the saucer, the ill fitting pylons, to the landing bay not fitting in the 2nd hull, etc. I could go on and on. For those seriously taking it on, it's more about the challenge and building skills.

Thank you! It's a pretty challenging journey, to be sure. Again, your build series was my inspiration, so thanks for watching my progress!
If you squeeze the sides of a zip tie with pliers it slides right off.
Thanks! Wish I ad known that trick in several builds. You obviously saw how I struggled a bit with getting the zip tie off.
