Is there any reason I couldn't use this every day, instead of just for travel? I have read some people don't advise that but I'm not sure why. A heavier stroller seems like a nightmare to get in and out of the car, let alone on public transportation.
I really wish they made the 2020 version in that beautiful aqua color the 2019 came in. I'm torn between the two years in part because of that (and the $100 difference in price).

I don’t think you’ll find that the Jet will last if it’s used for everyday. With that said, it depends on how you’re going to be using the stroller. It might be fine.

I have the 2019 jet, I store it in partners car, use it when we are out. The reason I would think its not recommended as an everyday stoller is because the wheels just can't handle such frequent use outdoors, I feel like I'm somewhat wearing them down each time I use it, the roads are not smooth where I live, rather gravelly at times and will come acoss plenty of stones. I believe if I only used the jet I would have to replace the wheels in two years, or have worn down looking tires in a year and a half, they also struggle with going up and down kerbs(sidewalks) I have to be so mindful and use the lower kerbs, a few times it has buckeled on me on the slightest gradient or because I'm pushing in a rush to get across the road with cars, having to use my own weight to push down to get front wheels back on the pavement.. maybe the 2020 handles it better. The underbasket is so small, it makes me not want to put anything in unless I need to, and because I know I'll have to get it back out which can be a inconvenience if not a struggle kneeling down. I would rather use a pram hook. It also tips easily when weight is not distributed, I like to hang the baby bag over the handle of my prams, probably not supposed with it but I dislike carrying the bag and therefore absolutely must take the bag off before getting my child out otherwise once he's out the jet falls backwards on the floor. I hope this helps and it really is a fantastic stoller but these niggles do add up. Not taking up much space (extra boot space yay 🙌) and being able to use the car seat with it was my main preference. If you are only getting around, walking round say like a shopping center/mall and and don't plan on shoving things in underbasket and really need something compact and lightweight I would totally recommend this stroller! Also I have it in the all black and kinda wish I got it in the blue 💙

Is there any increase in weight capacity for the basket? Heard it’s only able to accommodate 1 kg/ 2 pounds in the older model. Hoping the new model has improved since that’s probably the most pathetic basket weight limit ever 😆

The silver cross jet 2020 vs uppababy minu, which would you lean toward?

We went with the minu. Its more convenient in that closing and opening it much easier. I do love the look of the silvercross MUCH MUCH more. Definitely will go with a silvercross over uppababy for a double stroller if we have another baby soon.

I don't really recommend any mini-micro stroller as an everyday stroller if you do a lot of outdoor walking.
