- The Cascade Basin Triple is a Von Roll triple chair which services the Cascade Basin trail pod at Pat's Peak. It was installed in 2013 with upgrades from both Partek and Skytrac. However, it has a very interesting history with it originating from Osler Bluff Ski Club in Ontario, Canada.
Exhibition Triple (1986-2010) (Osler Bluff, ON):
In 1986, the Osler Bluff Ski Club in Collingwood, ON purchased their second chairlift from Von-Roll Habbeger, and used many hall designs due to their purchased of Hall Skilifts. It replaced the Exhibition T-bar in a new alignment similar to that the current Exhibition Express.
It began near the Orchard Lodge and climbed the Valley Trail, unloading on a cliff. It ran for many years but in 2010, the club replaced it with a new Doppelmayr UNI-G detachable quad in a similar alignment, unloading a little bit higher than the old lift.
Cascade Basin Triple (Pats Peak, NH):
After its removal at Osler, it was put into storage for a few years until it was purchased by the Patenaude Family, the owners of Pats Peak.
In 2013, it was reinstalled in Cascade Basin, but with a lot of upgrades which included a motor room from Partek and a hydraulic tensioning system from Skytrac. The refurbished lift services a multitude of trails with a focus on beginners and intermediates.
This lift was also designed to be eventually converted into a quad chair with (or without) a loading carpet similar to the Peak Triple Chair on the front side.
